On the other hand, Patent Document 1 discloses a foreign matter removing apparatus for food. The apparatus is constituted by a water tank and a basket. The basket is provided inside the aquarium. A plurality of through holes are formed in the basket. The function of the through-hole is to separate floating or settled foreign matter from the food material. The foreign matter is relatively small, and is exemplified by hair and insects. In addition, the intended use of the apparatus is for cleaning food and removing foreign substances, not for peeling.

The problem is that the peeled skin stays. Since the peeled skin is soft, it spreads easily in water. Even if the device according to Patent Document 1 is remodeled and the water flow is strengthened to peel off, the spread skin is not discharged. The reason is that the diameter of the through hole is small. In other words, the skin must be discharged manually. Therefore, what the present invention enables is to efficiently remove the peeled skin.

The peeling apparatus according to the present invention peels the peel of vegetables or fruits (hereinafter referred to as “vegetables”). Examples of the vegetables include tomatoes, peaches, and potatoes. The apparatus is composed of a water tank and a basket. The tank stores water. The basket is installed inside the water tank. A slit is formed on the upper end side of the basket. That is, the slit is formed in the vicinity of the water surface when the water is full. In the water tank, the stored water circulates and peels vegetables and other skins. The horizontal plane is parallel to the rotation axis of the water flow. The outlet of the peeled skin is the slit. Here, the horizontal is a direction orthogonal to the vertical direction (gravity direction). In the description, “parallel” naturally allows for some errors.

According to the present invention, the slit is formed in the vicinity of the water surface. On the other hand, the peeled skin is lifted up near the water surface. Therefore, the peels of vegetables and the like are efficiently discharged after being peeled off.

<Relationship between bath ratio, discharge pressure, and peeling effect>
FIG. 5 shows a correlation diagram of the bath ratio and the discharge pressure in the
Bath ratio = input amount of vegetables, etc. (kg) / water tank volume (L) (Formula 1)
The discharge pressure is a pressure when water is pumped to the pipe. In this Embodiment, although the internal diameter of piping is 35.7 mm (1.5S), it is not limited to this. According to the correlation diagram, when the discharge pressure is constant and the bath ratio is increased, some of the introduced vegetables and the like are not peeled. That is, when the balance between the discharge pressure and the bath ratio is lost, the water flow is difficult to rotate.

FIG. 6 shows a correlation diagram between the bath ratio and the discharge pressure, which is generalized from the present embodiment. In the correlation diagram, what is expected in the region S is that the whole amount of the input vegetables and the like is peeled. From the balance between the discharge pressure and the bath ratio, the discharge pressure increases as the bath ratio increases. But,
If the discharge pressure is too strong, vegetables will be damaged. Therefore, when the upper limit value of the discharge pressure is determined, the upper limit value of the bath ratio is also determined.
