Description
The present invention relates to a control device of an automatic transmission for a vehicle, and relates to torque control of a frictional engagement element performed based on an estimated engine torque at the time of a kick down shift.
Generally, the output torque of the engine fluctuates due to various factors such as the external temperature such as the outside air temperature and the altitude during traveling, the movable condition of the auxiliary equipment, and the coolant temperature of the engine, and it is difficult to estimate accurately. In particular, in a transitional situation such as a kick down shift, it becomes more difficult to accurately estimate the output torque of the engine. During gear shifting, the friction engagement elements of the automatic transmission may be controlled based on the output torque of the engine. In such a case, the variation in the estimated value of the output torque of the engine causes a shock referred to as a tie-up due to excessive engagement torque of the frictional engagement element, and a lack of torque at the time of engagement causes a blowout. Since a temporary rapid increase in the input shaft rotational speed occurs, which is called, it is important to accurately estimate the output torque of the engine in order to avoid these phenomena. On the other hand, in
However, in the technology of
The present invention has been made against the background described above, and the object of the present invention is to accurately estimate the engine torque at the time of a kick down shift, and to suppress a rapid increase in shock and input shaft rotation. To provide a stable control means.
According to the summary of the present invention, in a vehicle provided with an automatic transmission having an engine and a plurality of frictional engagement elements, in the case of a kickdown shift where the depression speed of the accelerator pedal and the accelerator opening are equal to or greater than predetermined values. A control device for a vehicle automatic transmission that performs torque control of the plurality of frictional engagement elements based on estimated engine torque, wherein target engine torque for calculating a target engine torque corresponding to the accelerator opening degree in the kickdown shift A calculation unit, a slip- off engine torque calculation unit for calculating an estimated engine torque at the start of inertia phase at the start of the inertia phase at the kickdown shift, and a reaching ratio of the estimated engine torque at the start of inertia phase to the target engine torque And opening of the inertia phase from the start of the kickdown shift A constant computing section when calculating the time constant from the time elapsed, the time constant, the elapsed time from the start of the kick-down shift, and, from the step response equation of first-order lag system, the inertia phase starts at the estimated engine torque And an estimated engine torque calculation unit for calculating the estimated engine torque until the release of the release side frictional engagement element and the engagement of the engagement side frictional engagement element in the kickdown transmission are completed . To include.
According to the present invention, a target engine torque calculation unit that calculates a target engine torque corresponding to the accelerator opening in the kick-down shift, the inertia phase start time estimated engine torque at the start of the inertia phase in the kick-down shift The time constant is calculated from the slippage engine torque calculating unit , the arrival rate of the estimated estimated engine torque at the start of the inertia phase to the target engine torque, and the elapsed time from the start of the kickdown shift to the start of the inertia phase. From the time constant calculation unit to be calculated , the time constant, the elapsed time from the start of the kickdown shift, and the step response formula of the first-order lag system, the kickdown is continuous with the estimated engine torque at the start of the inertia phase Release of the release side frictional engagement element in the gear shift and engagement of the engagement side frictional engagement element And the estimated engine torque calculating section for calculating the estimated engine torque until the completion, because they contain, in the kick-down shift control, balance the clutch torque and the engine torque, the inertia phase obtained from the data at the start of the inertia phase The estimated engine torque can be accurately estimated at the time of the kick down shift by using the time constant of the estimated engine torque at start and the estimated engine torque. By using this estimated engine torque, appropriate torque control of the frictional engagement element is possible, and smooth operation is performed without delaying the start of the downshift, which is performed to avoid a shock and a rapid increase in input shaft rotation. The drivability is improved by enabling an efficient kick-down shift.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 2, the
The
As is well known, the first planetary gear set 36, the second planetary gear set 38 and the third planetary gear set 40 rotate sun gears (S1, S2, S3) and pinion gears (P1, P2, P3). The three rotating elements (rotating members) are respectively configured by carriers (CA1, CA2, CA3) rotatably supported and ring gears (R1, R2, R3) meshing with a sun gear through pinion gears. And each of these three rotary elements can be partially or indirectly (or selectively) directly or indirectly via frictional engagement elements (clutches C1, C2, C3, C4 and brakes B1, B2). It is connected to the
The clutches C1, C2, C3, C4 and the brakes B1, B2 (hereinafter simply referred to as the clutch C, the brake B, or the engaging element unless otherwise noted) are hydraulic pressure often used in automatic transmissions for vehicles. The friction engagement element of the above-mentioned type is constituted by a wet multi-plate type clutch or brake pressed by a hydraulic actuator, a band brake tightened by the hydraulic actuator, or the like. The clutch C and the brake B configured in this way have torque capacities (the hydraulic capacity from the linear solenoid valves SL1 to SL6, SLU, etc. included in the hydraulic control circuit 50 (see FIG. 1) provided in the
By controlling the engagement and release of the clutch C and the brake B by the
The engagement operation table of FIG. 3 summarizes the relationship between the respective gear stages and the respective operating states of the clutch C and the brake B, where "o" indicates engagement and a blank indicates release. As described above, the
Returning to FIG. 1, the

Returning to FIG. 1, the

The clutch

FIG. 8 is a main part of the control operation of the electronic control device, that is, when the kick down shift is executed, the relationship which is obtained experimentally and designed beforehand and stored with the accelerator opening θacc as a variable. Calculate the target engine torque Ttarg on the basis of) and calculate the time constant tsdwn from the torque Tinesta at the start of the inertia phase and the time tsta from the start of the kickdown shift to the start of the inertia phase, and estimate these. It is a flowchart explaining control operation in which control of a clutch torque is performed based on an estimated engine torque Tin calculated by applying to a step response expression of a system, and is repeatedly executed.
In FIG. 8, in step S1 (hereinafter the step is omitted) corresponding to the kick down
According to the above-mentioned embodiment, since the change of the output torque of the engine is transient and the change is large, the inertia phase at the start of the inertia phase at the time of the kick down shift where good clutch torque control is difficult Inertia phase start, which is obtained from the estimated torque at start time Tinesta and a target engine torque Ttarg which is obtained based on a relationship (map) which is obtained experimentally and designed in advance with the accelerator opening θacc as a variable and stored. The estimated engine torque Tin can be accurately estimated from the estimated engine torque Xtq and the time constant tsdwn of the estimated engine torque Tin, and the clutch torque Tclt can be controlled based on the estimated engine torque Tin. This suppresses a sharp increase in the input shaft rotation Nt, which is called shock generated by excessive torque at the time of engagement of the frictional engagement element and blow-up generated by insufficient torque at the time of engagement, and smooth down shift And the drivability is improved.
Further, the estimated engine torque Tin is estimated based on the step response equation of the first-order lag system, the actual throttle opening degree θacc, and the time constant tsdwn, so that highly accurate control of the clutch torque Tclt becomes possible.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail with reference to the drawings, the present invention is also applicable in other aspects.
Although the estimated engine torque Tin is calculated from the equation (4) according to the above-described embodiment, the estimated engine torque Tin may be determined from a map corresponding to the relationship of the equation (4). For example, when the estimated engine torque Tin is calculated from the target engine torque Ttarg determined based on the relationship (map) previously determined experimentally and designed with the accelerator opening θacc as a variable, and the equation (3) The constant tsdwn is used as a variable and estimated based on a relationship (map) obtained experimentally and designly in advance.
According to the above-described embodiment, the start of the inertia phase is determined by the differential value of the input rotational speed Nin, but it is not limited to the differential value in particular, but by a predetermined difference from the input rotational speed at the start of the kick down shift. You may decide the start.
Further, according to the above-described embodiment, the end of the inertia phase is determined by reaching the rotational speed N1 obtained by multiplying the output shaft rotational speed Nout by the gear ratio of the gear in which the input shaft rotational speed Nin is shifted. It is not limited to the input shaft rotational speed Nin. For example, the end of the inertia phase may be determined by measuring the differential value of the input shaft rotational speed Nin, that is, the change of the time change dwin of the input rotational speed Nin.
Furthermore, in consideration of the delay in the determination of the start of the inertia phase, the estimated engine torque Tin is calculated using the value of the clutch torque Tclt at a predetermined time before the point when the value of the clutch torque T1 is determined to be the start of the inertia phase. It may be calculated.
In the embodiment described above, eight forward gears are established in the
Moreover, in the above-mentioned Example, although the
