Description
Claims (8)
- 電池の温度を監視する温度検出素子と、
前記電池の種類を判別する電池種判別素子と、
前記温度検出素子が接続されるとともに外部機器の機器側第1端子へ接続される第1端子と、
前記電池種判別素子が接続されるとともに前記外部機器の機器側第2端子へ接続される第2端子と、
を有し、前記外部機器に接続可能な電池パックであって、
接続された前記外部機器に応じて、前記第1端子及び前記第2端子の少なくとも一つから出力される情報を、前記温度検出素子からの温度情報及び前記電池種判別素子からの電池種判別情報の少なくとも一つとするか、又は、前記情報とは別のデジタル信号とするか、を切り替え可能に構成したことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記温度検出素子及び前記電池種判別素子の中で少なくとも一つからの情報を前記外部機器へ伝達することを遮断する遮断手段を有し、
前記遮断手段で前記情報を遮断することにより、前記デジタル信号を出力するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。 - 前記外部機器からの所定の信号によって起動する制御部と、
前記所定の信号を検出するための信号検出手段と、を有し、
前記信号検出手段により前記所定の信号を検出した場合において、前記遮断手段は前記温度検出素子及び前記電池種判別素子からの情報を前記外部機器へ伝達することを遮断し、
前記制御部は、前記第1端子及び前記第2端子の中で少なくとも一つを介して前記外部機器と前記デジタル信号を送信又は受信するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。 - 前記外部機器が前記電池パックを充電するための充電装置の場合には、前記温度検出素子の情報及び前記電池種判別素子の情報を前記第1端子及び前記第2端子を介して前記充電装置に伝達し、
前記外部機器が前記充電装置以外の場合には、前記デジタル信号を前記外部機器に伝達することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の電池パック。 - 電池の温度を監視する温度検出素子と、
前記電池の種類を判別する電池種判別素子と、
前記温度検出素子が接続されるとともに外部機器の機器側第1端子へ接続される第1端子と、
前記電池種判別素子が接続されるとともに前記外部機器の機器側第2端子へ接続される第2端子と、
を有する電池パックであって、
前記温度検出素子及び前記電池種判別素子の少なくとも一方からの情報を前記外部機器へ伝達することを遮断する遮断手段を有し、
前記外部機器が前記電池パックを充電するための充電装置の場合には、前記温度検出素子の情報及び前記電池種判別素子の情報を前記第1端子及び前記第2端子を介して前記充電装置に伝達し、前記外部機器が前記充電装置以外の場合には、前記遮断手段により前記情報の伝達を遮断することを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記外部機器からの所定の信号によって起動する制御部と、
前記所定の信号を検出するための信号検出手段と、を有し、
前記信号検出手段により前記所定の信号を検出した場合において、前記遮断手段は前記温度検出素子及び前記電池種判別素子からの情報を前記外部機器へ伝達することを遮断し、
前記制御部は、前記第1端子及び前記第2端子の少なくとも一方を介して前記外部機器とデジタル信号を送信又は受信するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電池パック。 - 前記信号検出手段により検出される前記所定の信号がパルス信号であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックの使用履歴を前記外部機器とデジタル信号によって通信可能に構成したことを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の電池パック。
