前記外科用器具の機械的脱出を要するエラーである脱出エラーが検出されたときに、前記外科用器具の機械的脱出を行うために手動で動作させることが可能な脱出アセンブリと、を備え、前記脱出アセンブリが、
脱出ドアと、
前記脱出ドアを通してアクセス可能な脱出ハンドルであって、前記脱出ハンドルは前記駆動部材を移動させて、前記エンドエフェクタにおける脱出運動を実施するように動作可能である、脱出ハンドルと、
コントローラと、を備え、前記コントローラが、
メモリと、
前記メモリに格納されたプログラム命令にしたがって動作可能なプロセッサであって、前記プロセッサが前記脱出エラーを検出するように構成され、前記プロセッサは前記脱出エラーの前記検出に反応して前記モータを停止するようにプログラムされている、プロセッサと、
