Abstract
【解決手段】この殺菌方法は、波長200nm以上230nm以下の紫外線を手指又は腕の皮膚に対して照射する工程(a)と、前記皮膚の前記紫外線が照射された領域に、以下のアミノ酸群Aから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有してなる皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液を塗布する工程(b)と、を有する。(アミノ酸群A: バリン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、グルタミン酸、アルギニン、セリン、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシン)

Description
波長200nm以上230nm以下の紫外線を手指又は腕の皮膚に対して照射する工程(a)と、
前記皮膚の前記紫外線が照射された領域に、以下のアミノ酸群Aから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有してなる皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液を塗布する工程(b)と、を有することを特徴とする。
(アミノ酸群A: バリン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、グルタミン酸、アルギニン、セリン、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシン)
波長200nm以上230nm以下の紫外線は、手指又は腕の皮膚に照射しても、人体への影響が小さい。これは、当該波長帯の紫外線を人体に照射しても、皮膚の角質層で吸収され、それよりも内側(基底層側)には進行しないためである。角質層に含まれる角質細胞は細胞核を有しない細胞であるため、例えば有棘細胞のようにDNAが存在しない。このため、波長250nm程度の紫外線を照射する場合のように、細胞に吸収されてDNAが破壊されるというリスクがほとんど存在しない。このため、求められる殺菌性能に応じて紫外線の強度や照射時間を調整することも可能である。
バリン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、グルタミン酸、アルギニン、セリン、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシンを含むアミノ酸群Aから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有する皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液を、工程(a)で紫外線を照射した領域に塗布する。これにより、上述した異臭が除去されることが確認された。なお、以下では、「アミノ酸群Aから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有する皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液」を、「特定溶媒B」と称する。
図1に示す紫外線照射装置1を用いて、検証員M1、M2、M3、M4、M5、M6の6名に対して、右手の手のひらに、波長222nmにピークを有する紫外線を、照度3.8mW/cm2、照射時間30秒間で照射した。手のひらと光源の離間距離は8cmである。紫外線照射装置1は、KrClを発光ガスとするエキシマランプを光源2とする装置である。なお、紫外線照射箇所と光源との離間距離は、台座4によって調整した。以下の検証例においても同様である。
ジャパン・ティッシュ・エンジニアリング社製の人工皮膚に対して、紫外線照射装置1と同じ光源を用いて、波長222nmにピークを有する紫外線を照射した。その結果、検証例1と同様の異臭が発生した。
表皮に含まれるタンパク質の構成材であるアミノ酸に照準を当て、以下の18種類のアミノ酸に対し、波長222nmにピークを有する紫外線の照射前後での臭いの変化を検証した。具体的には、φ40シャーレに各アミノ酸の水溶液3mLを投入し、紫外線照射装置1と同じ光源を用いて、照度3.8mW/cm2、照射時間30秒間で紫外線を照射した。シャーレと光源の離間距離は8cmである。18種類のアミノ酸は、シスチン、グルタミン酸、ロイシン、アルギニン、セリン、トレオニン(「スレオニン」とも称される。)、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシン、バリン、アラニン、フェニルアラニン、イソロイシン、チロシン、リジン、ヒスチジン、メチオニン、トリプトファンである。これらの18種類のアミノ酸は、いずれも表皮に含まれるタンパク質を構成する材料として知られている。
検証例1と同様の方法で、図1に示す紫外線照射装置1を用いて、各検証員M1、M2、M3、M4、M5、M6の6名に対して右手の手のひらに、波長222nmにピークを有する紫外線を、照度3.8mW/cm2、照射時間30秒間で照射した。
検証例4と同様に、図1に示す紫外線照射装置1を用いて、各検証員M1、M2、M3、M4、M5、M6の6名に対して、右手の手のひらに、波長222nmにピークを有する紫外線を、照度3.8mW/cm2、照射時間30秒間で照射した。
含有保湿成分:ヒアルロン酸Na、PCA−Na、ブチレングリコール、乳酸Na
含有アミノ酸:プロリン、グリシン、アルギニン、ベタイン
含有密着/浸透成分:カルボマー(カルボキシビニルポリマー)

含有密着/浸透成分:ジメチコン、カルボマー(カルボキシビニルポリマー)

その他成分:殺菌剤(IPMP(イソプロピルメチルフェノール)、酸化亜鉛)、消臭剤(みょうばん)
含有保湿成分:グリセリン、ブチレングリコール

含有密着/浸透成分:ジメチコン
その他成分:UV吸収剤(メトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシル、ジエチルアミノヒドロキシベンゾイル安息香酸ヘキシル)、油脂類(ツヤ出し、肌保護等)
図2に示すように、紫外線照射装置1が、特定溶媒B、すなわちバリン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、グルタミン酸、アルギニン、セリン、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシンから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有する皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液を、紫外線照射箇所に噴霧する噴霧口5を備えるものとすることができる。これにより、作業者は、自らの手指や腕を装置1内に挿入することで、自動的に所定時間にわたって、波長200nm以上230nm以下の紫外線が照射された後、引き続き特定溶媒Bが照射領域に噴霧される。よって、作業員は、その後に自らの手指や腕を装置1の外へ出して、手で特定溶媒Bを揉み込むのみで、異臭の発生を抑制しながらも、殺菌処理を行うことができる。

Claims (10)
- 波長200nm以上230nm以下の紫外線を手指又は腕の皮膚に対して照射する工程(a)と、
前記皮膚の前記紫外線が照射された領域に、以下のアミノ酸群Aから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有してなる皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液を塗布する工程(b)と、を有することを特徴とする殺菌方法。
(アミノ酸群A: バリン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、グルタミン酸、アルギニン、セリン、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシン) - 前記工程(b)において塗布される前記皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液は、保湿成分又は密着/浸透成分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の殺菌方法。
- 前記工程(a)は、KrCl、又はKrBrを発光ガスとするエキシマランプからの放射光を前記皮膚に照射する工程であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の殺菌方法。
- 前記工程(a)及び(b)が、非医療現場で行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の殺菌方法。
- 手、手首、又は腕の皮膚を殺菌するための殺菌装置であって、
波長200nm以上230nm以下の紫外線を照射可能な光源と、
手、手首、又は腕を含む紫外線照射対象領域を前記殺菌装置の外側から当該殺菌装置内に挿入するための挿入口と、
以下のアミノ酸群Aから選択される少なくとも一つのアミノ酸又はアミノ酸誘導体を含有してなる皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液を噴霧する噴霧口とを備えたことを特徴とする殺菌装置。
(アミノ酸群A: バリン、ロイシン、イソロイシン、グルタミン酸、アルギニン、セリン、アスパラギン酸、プロリン、グリシン) - 前記光源は、KrCl、又はKrBrを発光ガスとするエキシマランプを含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の殺菌装置。
- 前記光源から前記紫外線照射対象領域に前記紫外線が照射された後、自動的に前記噴霧口から前記皮膚外用剤、化粧料、又は水溶液が噴霧されることを特徴とする、請求項5又は6に記載の殺菌装置。
- 前記挿入口の内側に配置され、前記紫外線照射対象領域と前記光源との離間距離を調整するための台座を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の殺菌装置。
- 前記紫外線照射対象領域が前記殺菌装置内に挿入されたことを検知可能なセンサを備え、
前記センサによって、前記紫外線照射対象領域が前記殺菌装置内に挿入されたことが検知されると、前記光源が自動的に所定の時間だけ前記紫外線を照射することを特徴とする、請求項5〜8のいずれか1項に記載の殺菌装置。 - 非医療用途であることを特徴とする、請求項5〜9のいずれか1項に記載の殺菌装置。
