Description
(実施の形態1)
図1は、実施の形態1に係る表示装置の外観を略示する斜視図、図2は、図1中のII−II線による縦断面図である。図示の表示装置は、矩形板状をなす画像表示用の液晶パネル(表示パネル)1と、該液晶パネル1に光を照射するバックライト(照明装置)2とを備えている。
図5は実施の形態2に係るバックライト2の要部を示す断面斜視図である。以下、特に説明する構成、作用以外の構成及び作用は実施の形態1と同等であり、簡潔のため記載を省略する。
図6は実施の形態3に係るバックライト2の要部を示す断面斜視図である。以下、特に説明する構成、作用以外の構成及び作用は実施の形態1、2と同等であり、簡潔のため記載を省略する。

Claims (8)
- 開口部を有する筐体に一面を該開口部に臨ませて収容された導光板と、該導光板の側面に対向配置された光源とを備え、前記側面から前記導光板に入射された前記光源からの光を前記導光板の前記一面から出射する照明装置において、
前記導光板の前記一面の側から該一面の周縁部を覆う枠体を備え、
前記枠体は、前記導光板の光源側以外の側面の少なくとも一部に対向し、前記筐体の底面に向けて延びるリブを備え、
該リブは、前記導光板からの押圧力による撓み変形が可能に構成してあり、
前記リブは、前記枠体の光源側以外の部分に前記側面に沿って延設されており、
前記リブは、一部に欠落部を有し、前記導光板は、該欠落部に挿通されて前記リブの外側に突出する突出部を備えることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 開口部を有する筐体に一面を該開口部に臨ませて収容された導光板と、該導光板の側面に対向配置された光源とを備え、前記側面から前記導光板に入射された前記光源からの光を前記導光板の前記一面から出射する照明装置において、
前記導光板の前記一面の側から該一面の周縁部を覆う枠体を備え、
前記枠体は、前記導光板の光源側以外の側面の少なくとも一部に対向し、前記筐体の底面に向けて延びるリブを備え、
該リブは、前記導光板が熱膨張していない場合に該導光板に当接しないが、該導光板に当接した場合に該導光板からの押圧力により撓み変形するように構成してあることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 前記リブは、前記枠体の光源側以外の部分に前記側面に沿って延設されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記リブは、一部に欠落部を有し、前記導光板は、該欠落部に挿通されて前記リブの外側に突出する突出部を備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の照明装置。
- 前記リブは、前記枠体の光源側以外の部分に前記側面に沿って間隔を隔てて複数並設されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記枠体は、矩形枠状であり、
前記光源は、前記枠体の少なくとも一方の長辺側に配置されており、
前記リブは、前記枠体の両短辺に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 前記枠体は、矩形枠状であり、
前記光源は、前記枠体の一方の長辺側に配置されており、
前記リブは、前記枠体の両短辺及び他方の長辺に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1つに記載の照明装置と、
該照明装置の前記導光板に対向配置された表示パネルとを備え、
前記導光板からの出射光を前記表示パネルの背面に照射し、該表示パネルの正面に画像を表示するように構成してあることを特徴とする表示装置。
