Description
The present invention mainly relates to an engine including an exhaust gas purification device.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a diesel engine, a configuration is known in which an exhaust gas purification device that removes harmful components contained in exhaust gas is provided in the exhaust passage of the engine. This exhaust gas purification device is configured as a diesel particulate filter (DPF) that collects particulate matter (PM) and removes it by burning it. By the way, removing PM by burning it is called DPF regeneration.
One method of regenerating DPF includes burning PM by heating it via an external device such as a heater or a burner. The exhaust gas purification system and the exhaust gas purification device disclosed in
The exhaust gas purification system of
The exhaust gas purifying device of
As disclosed in
However, if DPF regeneration is performed under conditions where the load fluctuates heavily, the exhaust pressure may suddenly increase during DPF regeneration. In general, when the exhaust pressure increases, the exhaust temperature tends to increase. However, in the configuration in which the opening / closing of the exhaust throttle valve is controlled based on the exhaust temperature as in
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an engine that can accurately realize the state of exhaust gas according to the operating state during the regeneration operation of the exhaust gas purification device. .
The problems to be solved by the present invention are as described above. Next, means for solving the problems and the effects thereof will be described.
According to an aspect of the present invention, an engine having the following configuration is provided. That is, this engine is provided with an exhaust gas purification device for purifying exhaust gas. The engine also performs a regeneration operation to remove the particulate matter collected by the exhaust gas purification device. The engine includes an engine body, an exhaust valve, a control unit, an operating state detection unit, an atmospheric pressure detection unit, an intake air temperature detection unit, and an exhaust temperature detection unit. The exhaust gas purification device is disposed in the engine body. The exhaust valve is provided in an exhaust passage of the engine body and can be adjusted to an arbitrary opening degree. The control unit can control the opening degree of the exhaust valve. The operation state detection unit detects an operation state including at least a fuel injection amount and a rotation speed of the engine body. The atmospheric pressure detection unit detects atmospheric pressure in the operating environment of the engine. The intake air temperature detector detects an intake air temperature of the engine body. The exhaust temperature detection unit detects an exhaust temperature of the exhaust gas of the engine body. The control unit controls the opening degree of the exhaust valve corresponding to the detection result of the operating state detection unit, and detects the detection result of the atmospheric pressure detection unit, the intake air temperature detection unit, and the exhaust temperature detection unit. Based on this, the opening degree of the exhaust valve is corrected. The control unit obtains a limit exhaust temperature that is a lower limit temperature in an exhaust gas temperature range of the exhaust gas based on a rotation speed of the engine body and a fuel injection amount. When the actual exhaust temperature detected by the exhaust temperature detection unit is higher than the limit exhaust temperature, the control unit obtains the deviation as an exhaust temperature deviation, and based on the exhaust temperature deviation, Correct the direction to increase the opening. The opening correction amount of the exhaust valve based on the exhaust temperature deviation is determined so as to increase as the exhaust temperature deviation increases and the rotation speed of the engine body increases.
Thereby, since the opening degree of the exhaust valve can be appropriately adjusted according to the operating state (fuel injection amount, rotational speed, etc.) of the engine body, the machine on which the engine is mounted (for example, during the regeneration operation of the exhaust gas purification device) Even if the operating state of the engine fluctuates due to a change in work performed by the work vehicle), the exhaust gas state (temperature, pressure, etc.) can be maintained appropriately. As a result, the particulate matter collected by the exhaust gas purification device can be suitably removed. Moreover, since the opening degree of the exhaust valve can be corrected in accordance with the atmospheric pressure and the outside air temperature in the environment where the engine operates, it is possible to prevent the engine exhaust pressure from becoming excessive. And, by adjusting the exhaust pressure through the opening of the exhaust valve, the exhaust temperature in the exhaust gas purification device can be easily controlled, so that the regeneration of the exhaust gas purification device by removing particulate matter is reliably realized. be able to. Furthermore, since the opening of the exhaust valve can be adjusted based on the actual temperature of the exhaust gas, for example, so that the exhaust temperature does not rise too much, engine efficiency is reduced due to overheating of the exhaust temperature, or engine damage is prevented. Can be prevented. In addition, with this configuration, even if an irregular condition occurs in the engine due to some disturbance factor and the actual exhaust temperature rises as a result, the actual exhaust temperature The opening degree of the exhaust valve is corrected according to the deviation from the limit exhaust temperature. As a result, the state of the engine can be maintained appropriately so that the exhaust temperature does not rise excessively, so that the operation of the engine can be continued stably.
The engine preferably includes a switching unit capable of switching whether or not the control unit executes control related to the opening degree of the exhaust valve.
As a result, for example, when it is difficult to consider fluctuations in the engine load (for example, when the machine on which the engine is mounted performs only a high load operation), the engine is controlled so as not to perform control related to the opening degree of the exhaust valve. Can be operated more efficiently.
The engine preferably has the following configuration. That is, an exhaust pressure detection unit that detects an exhaust pressure of the exhaust gas of the engine body is further provided. The control unit corrects the opening degree of the exhaust valve based on the detection result of the exhaust pressure detection unit.
Accordingly, the opening of the exhaust valve can be adjusted according to the actual pressure of the exhaust gas so that, for example, the exhaust pressure does not become excessive, so that damage to the engine due to an excessive increase in the exhaust pressure can be prevented. it can.
The engine preferably has the following configuration. That is, a cooling water temperature detection unit for detecting the cooling water temperature of the engine body is further provided. The control unit corrects the opening degree of the exhaust valve based on the detection result of the cooling water temperature detection unit.
Thereby, since the opening degree of an exhaust valve can be adjusted according to the temperature of a cooling water, it can prevent that a cooling water temperature rises too much, for example, and can prevent the engine body from overheating.
According to the other viewpoint of this invention, the work vehicle provided with the said engine is provided.
Thereby, since the opening degree of the exhaust valve can be appropriately adjusted according to the operating state of the engine, even if the operating state of the engine fluctuates due to a change in work performed by the work vehicle during the regeneration operation of the exhaust gas purification device, The state of exhaust gas (temperature, pressure, etc.) can be maintained appropriately. As a result, the particulate matter collected by the exhaust gas purification device can be suitably removed.
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic explanatory view showing the configuration of an
First, the configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
In the
The
Next, in the
The
The
Exhaust gas generated by the combustion of fuel in the
The exhaust
Further, the
The
The
The
The
The
The
In order to increase the efficiency of PM combustion described above, the temperature of the exhaust gas needs to be maintained at a high temperature. On the other hand, if the exhaust gas becomes too high, the
The
The
Next, control for removing PM accumulated on the
The
In any DPF regeneration control mode, the temperature in the
However, when the
In this regard, in
As described above, when the work performed on the work vehicle is changed while the DPF regeneration (the assist regeneration control or the reset regeneration control described above) is being performed, the fuel injection amount and the rotational speed change, thereby the exhaust pressure and The exhaust temperature changes. Therefore, it may be difficult to reliably perform DPF regeneration during work.
Considering this situation, in the
For example, CAN (Controller Area Network) communication can be used for communication between the
The
The rotational
The
With the above configuration, the

Generally, when the opening degree of the
Thereby, the opening degree of the
As described above, the
By the way, the pressure and temperature of the exhaust gas discharged from the
Furthermore, if the opening degree of the
In this regard, in the
The opening correction control block 102 based on the environmental conditions is an opening correction amount that is an amount for correcting the opening of the
The exhaust valve opening correction
Next, among the two blocks shown in FIG. 3, the opening correction control block 102 based on the environmental condition will be described in detail with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the opening degree correction control block 102 based on environmental conditions includes a correction control block based on atmospheric pressure and a correction control block based on intake air temperature.
The correction control block based on atmospheric pressure uses the opening
The correction control block based on the intake air temperature uses the opening
The opening correction amounts obtained in the two blocks are added as shown in FIG. Then, the opening correction amount after the addition is output as the opening correction amount in the opening correction control block 102 based on the environmental conditions.
The opening

Each opening degree correction amount map and correction coefficient curve are set in advance and stored in the
As described above, the
FIG. 8 shows an example of the effect of opening degree correction of the
Next, of the two blocks shown in FIG. 3, the opening correction control block 103 based on the engine state will be described in detail with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 9, the opening degree correction control block 103 based on the engine state includes a correction control block based on the exhaust temperature, a correction control block based on the exhaust pressure, and a correction control block based on the coolant temperature.
First, the correction control block based on the exhaust temperature will be described. In this block, first, based on the rotational speed ν of the
Thereafter, the actual exhaust temperature of the
Next, in the correction control block based on the exhaust temperature, the opening correction amount of the
Next, the limit
The limit
As shown in FIG. 10A, the limit
The graph of FIG. 10 (b) shows the relationship between the limit exhaust temperature and the fuel injection amount at the predetermined rotational speed ν1 shown in FIG. 10 (a). As described above, the limit exhaust temperature becomes higher as the fuel injection amount θ increases.
FIG. 10B shows the relationship between the actual exhaust temperature obtained from the
In this regard, in the present embodiment, when the actual exhaust temperature exceeds the determined limit exhaust temperature, a deviation between both the exhaust temperatures (exhaust temperature deviation) is calculated. Then, an opening correction amount of the
The opening
In this configuration, even if an irregular condition occurs in the
In the correction control block based on the exhaust pressure shown in FIG. 9, the opening of the
As a result, even if the actual exhaust pressure / cooling water temperature increases for some reason in
The opening correction amounts obtained from the above three blocks are added, and the opening correction amount after the addition is output as an opening correction amount from the opening correction control block 103 based on the engine state.
As shown in FIG. 3, the
With the above configuration, for example, when it can be predicted that the high load operation ratio of the
However, the present invention is not limited to the above configuration, and the
As described above, the
As a result, the opening degree of the
In addition, the
As a result, the opening degree of the
In addition, the
Thereby, when it is predicted that the load of the
The
As a result, the opening degree of the
The
As a result, the opening degree of the
The
Thereby, since the opening degree of the
The wheel loader of the present embodiment includes the
Thereby, since the opening degree of the
The preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above, but the above configuration can be modified as follows, for example.
The
The
The
