Description
The present invention relates to an aroma transmission method and an aroma transmission device using an air cannon.
A technique is known in which a vortex ring containing a fragrance is ejected from an air cannon to deliver a scent to a target person. The present technology has an advantage that an intended amount of scent can be presented at a predetermined timing from a remote location to a location where the subject is present. On the other hand, since the fragrance is carried on a flying vortex ring, the fragrance is localized in a narrow region (vortex ring), and there is a problem that it is difficult for the subject to smell the fragrance. If the vortex ring does not hit the subject's nose, the subject will not feel the scent.
On the other hand,
However, in the method according to the above-mentioned prior art document, while the ease of smelling a scent has been improved, a device for measuring a nose position and two air cannons are required, which causes a complicated device. . In addition, there is still a problem that the scent perceived by the subject becomes weak because the amount of the fragrance that the vortex ring can carry is small or the fragrance is dropped from the vortex ring during the flight. In addition, the vortex ring spreads widely, and the subject could suck only a small portion of the fragrance in the vortex ring, and the sensed scent could be weakened. Furthermore, if the flying speed of the vortex ring is too fast, the subject feels uncomfortable due to the wind pressure, and conversely if the flight speed is too slow, the vortex ring collapses halfway and cannot reach the subject.
As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors made the vortex ring containing the fragrance visible, and set the structure of the air cannon, the flight speed of the vortex ring, the positional relationship between the air cannon and the subject, etc. within the optimum numerical range. As a result, the inventors have found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved, and have reached the present invention. In other words, the present invention uses a simple device configured with an air cannon to transmit a perceivable scent to the recipient in a form that allows the recipient who is the scent to feel the scent without any discomfort. The present invention relates to an aroma transmission method and an aroma transmission device.
In order to solve the above problems, an aroma transmission method of the present invention is an aroma transmission method for transmitting the aroma to a person to be transmitted by injecting a vortex ring containing the aroma from an air cannon. A vortex ring with a distance of 1 m or more and 3 m or less to the recipient and made visible by including a microdroplet is 1 m / s or more and 2.5 m / s or less from the injection port having a diameter of 4 cm or more and 15 cm or less. It injects toward the said recipient at a flight speed.
Further, the fragrance transmission device of the present invention is an fragrance transmission device that transmits the fragrance to the recipient by injecting a vortex ring containing the fragrance from the air cannon, the fragrance generating device that imparts the fragrance to the vortex ring, A micro-droplet generating device that includes a micro-droplet in a vortex ring for visual recognition, an injection port for injecting the vortex ring, a pressurizing device for injecting the vortex ring from the injection port, A positioning portion for determining a position, wherein the diameter of the injection port is 4 cm or more and 15 cm or less, and the pressurizing device injects a vortex ring from the injection port at a flight speed of 1 m / s or more and 2.5m / s or less. The positioning portion is provided at a distance of 1 m or more and 3 m or less from the injection port.
According to the above-described present invention, it is possible to provide an aroma transmission method and apparatus for transmitting a perceivable scent to a recipient in a form that is easy for the recipient to smell and using the air cannon. .
The aroma transmission method of the present invention will be described in detail below.
The present invention is a method of transmitting a fragrance to a recipient by ejecting a vortex ring that contains a fragrance and is further visible by including a microdroplet from an air cannon. And, the distance from the air gun injection port to the recipient is 1 m or more and 3 m or less, and the vortex ring which is made visible by including a fine droplet is 4 m or more and 15 cm or less from the
(aroma)
The fragrance is a fragrance or a fragrance dissolved in a solvent vaporized or finely divided. The aroma may contain moisture obtained by vaporizing water or fine particles as necessary. From the viewpoint of preventing sedimentation due to gravity, the diameter of the fine particles when formed into fine particles is preferably 20 μm or less.
As the fragrance, known fragrances can be used without particular limitation. For example, natural fragrance extracted from natural products such as peppermint oil, synthetic fragrance such as limonene, two or more kinds of known fragrances are mixed at an appropriate ratio. Examples of the resulting fragrances include fragrances that are solid and sublimable at room temperature, such as menthol. Examples of the solvent include ethanol, propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, triethyl citrate, 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol, and tripropylene glycol methyl ether, but are not limited thereto. Absent. Ethanol is preferably used from the viewpoint of ease of handling.
(Micro droplet)
The fine liquid droplets are included in the vortex ring together with the fragrance so as to make the vortex ring visible. Since the minute droplets scatter visible light, the vortex ring becomes clouded and becomes visible. The diameter of the microdroplet for this purpose is preferably 1 μm or more and 20 μm or less. When the diameter is smaller than 1 μm, the visible light scattering ability per one microdroplet is lowered, and the visibility is lowered. If the diameter is larger than 20 μm, it tends to settle due to gravity. In addition, the number of fine droplets that can be filled per unit volume is reduced, the amount of visible light scattering is reduced, and visibility is reduced.
As the liquid used as the raw material for the fine droplets, for example, glycols such as propylene glycol, tripropylene glycol and 1,3-butylene glycol, organic solvents such as glycerin, or a solvent in which a plurality of these are mixed can be used. You may add water to these. Propylene glycol is preferably used from the viewpoint of low odor and ease of handling.
In the present invention, it is particularly preferable that the fragrance includes fragrance fine particles dissolved in the fragrance or solvent and moisture, and the fragrance is included in the vortex ring together with the fine droplets mainly composed of propylene glycol. The main component means the component having the largest weight ratio. Using a finer fragrance rather than using the vaporized fragrance as a fragrance allows the vortex ring to contain the fragrance at a high concentration, and the vaporized fragrance is absorbed by the fine droplets mainly composed of propylene glycol. Thus, dilution can be suppressed. Further, it is preferable that the moisture contains fine particles of water. When vaporized water is used for moisture rather than moisture, vaporized water can be suppressed from being absorbed and diluted by fine droplets mainly composed of propylene glycol. As a result, the scent of the recipient can be easily detected.
(Vortex ring aperture)
In the present invention, the vortex ring is ejected from the ejection port. The injection port is an opening for injecting the vortex ring from the air cannon to the outside, and has a substantially circular shape. The diameter (diameter) of the injection port is 4 cm or more and 15 cm or less. When the opening is not completely circular, the diameter of the inscribed circle of the opening is defined as the diameter of the injection port.
When the caliber (diameter) is 4 cm or more, the amount of gas that can be carried by the vortex ring (amount of fragrance) can be secured, and the scent of the recipient can be easily detected. And for said reason, the diameter (diameter) of an injection port becomes like this. Preferably it is 5 cm or more, More preferably, it is 7 cm or more. Further, the diameter (diameter) of the injection port is 15 cm or less. When the aperture (diameter) is 15 cm or less, the vortex ring ejected from the ejection port is prevented from becoming larger than the human face, and as a result, the fragrance does not spread over a wide area and does not fade. The aroma that is dissipated without being sucked is reduced, and the transmission efficiency of the aroma to the recipient can be increased. And for said reason, the diameter (diameter) of an injection port becomes like this. Preferably it is 14 cm or less, More preferably, it is 12 cm or less.
(Distance from outlet to recipient)
The distance from the outlet to the recipient is 1 m or more and 3 m or less. When the distance is 1 m or more, a time margin is ensured until the recipient visually recognizes the vortex ring and brings the nose closer. For the above reasons, the distance is preferably 1.5 m or more, and more preferably 1.6 m or more.
In addition, when the distance is 3 m or less, it is possible to reduce the fragrance dropping out before the vortex ring reaches the recipient, and the scent sensing intensity of the recipient can be increased. Further, it is possible to prevent a problem that the vortex ring is swept by the surrounding air current and bends in the middle, or does not reach the recipient.
Here, the distance from the outlet to the recipient is the distance from the center of the outlet to the nose of the recipient.
(Flying speed)
The vortex ring is injected from the injection port at a flight speed of 1 m / s or more and 2.5 m / s or less. Since the speed at which the vortex ring flies gradually decreases due to air resistance, in the present invention, the “flying speed” is defined as the average speed when the vortex ring flies to a
When the flight speed of the vortex ring is 1 m or more per second, it is possible to prevent the vortex ring from collapsing before reaching the person to be transmitted due to the influence of air resistance and dissipating the aroma. For the above reasons, the flying speed of the vortex ring is preferably 1.1 m / s or more, and more preferably 1.2 m / s or more.
Moreover, when the speed is 2.5 m or less per second, the impact of the vortex ring colliding with the face or nose of the person being transmitted can be reduced, and the uncomfortable feeling of wind pressure received by the person being transmitted from the vortex ring can be prevented. In addition, it is possible to prevent the fragrance from passing through the recipient in an instant, and the fragrance drifts around the recipient, so that the scent of the recipient can be easily detected. And for the above reasons, the flight speed of the vortex ring is preferably 2.2 m or less per second, and more preferably 2.0 m or less per second. Even if the volume of the gas to be injected is further increased, the amount of fragrance dropped from the vortex ring during flight of the vortex ring increases, and the transmission efficiency of the fragrance to the recipient is reduced. Moreover, the fragrance spreads over a wide area and the fragrance that is dissipated without being sucked by the recipient increases, and the transmission efficiency of the fragrance to the recipient is reduced.
(Injection direction)
When the vortex ring is ejected toward the recipient, if the vortex ring is ejected near the recipient's nose or from the jaw toward the chest, the recipient is likely to smell the scent.
(Injection amount)
The volume of gas to be injected is to ensure the aroma amount carried in vortex ring, from the viewpoint of facilitating the smell sensing of the communicators, it is preferable that a 350 cm 3 or more, still more preferably 600 cm 3 or more. The volume of gas emitted from the viewpoint of preventing deterioration of aroma transmission efficiency, it is preferable to 2500 cm 3 or less, still more preferably 1500 cm 3 or less. When the volume of the gas to be ejected becomes excessive, the amount of fragrance that drops from the vortex ring during flight of the vortex ring increases, and the transmission efficiency of the fragrance to the recipient is reduced. Moreover, the fragrance spreads over a wide area and the fragrance that is dissipated without being sucked by the recipient increases, and the transmission efficiency of the fragrance to the recipient is reduced.
(Background color)
In the method of the present invention, the background color of the injection port when the air gun is viewed from the recipient may be a dark color having a brightness of 40% or less or a saturation of 60% or more in the HSV color space.
The dark color includes, for example, black, brown, dark blue, blue, green, orange, red and the like. The “background of the injection port when the air gun is viewed from the recipient” is defined as follows.
FIG. 1 is a top view depicting an
(Sitting posture)
In the method of the present invention, the recipient is preferably in a sitting position sitting on a chair such as a sofa. By sitting the recipient on the designated chair, the distance from the air gun outlet to the recipient can be set to 1 m or more and 3 m or less, and the face position is almost constant regardless of the height. The direction in which the vortex ring is ejected from the

In the fragrance transmission method of the present invention, a video display device that can be viewed by a recipient is provided, and an air cannon is arranged around the video display device. Examples of the video display device include a liquid crystal display, a plasma display, and a screen. However, a planar member that displays a still image such as a photograph, computer graphic, poster, painting, or sketch may be used. The periphery of the video display device refers to a range within 1 m from the outer edge of the video display device, and the opening center of the
(Non-white light irradiation)
In the method of the present invention, the visibility of the vortex ring may be improved by applying non-white light to the vortex ring while the vortex ring is flying from the outlet to the recipient. By using non-white light, the vortex ring is colored and visual beauty is also imparted. Non-white light means visible light that is not white light, and means light having a color such as red, orange, yellow, yellow-green, green, blue, and purple. Examples of the light source include light emitting diodes and laser diodes exhibiting these colors. Or you may use the light which colored the white light emitted from the white light source with the color filter of these colors. White light is light that has no hue due to a mixture of light of all wavelengths of visible light. As the light source, there are A light source, C light source, D65 light source and the like determined by the International Lighting Commission CIE.
Non-white light may be continuously applied to the vortex ring flying from the injection port to the recipient, or may be intermittently or temporarily applied. Multiple colors of light may be applied simultaneously, or the colors may be changed over time. When using light of a plurality of colors, white light may be included in the light. There is no particular limitation on the direction of light. A method of placing a light source on the floor and directing light from below the vortex ring, or a vortex ring flying with a light source placed behind the chair (the back side when the recipient is sitting on the chair and facing the air cannon) A method of shining light from the front of the head is exemplified.
In the method of the present invention, a windshield can be provided for the purpose of preventing the flight of the vortex ring from being hindered by the surrounding airflow.
In addition, it is preferable that the airflow is 0.3 m / second or less on the path along which the vortex ring flies from the outlet to the recipient. Further, in order to improve the visibility of the vortex ring, a light shielding plate that attenuates ambient light (illumination light from a fluorescent lamp or the like) may be used.
Further, a smoke absorbing device and an air cleaning device may be provided in order to suck a fragrance and fine droplets that are released from the air cannon but are not placed on the vortex ring. The apparatus cleans the air by sucking air and removing the fragrances and minute droplets contained therein with an activated carbon filter or the like. As a result, the residual scent around the air cannon is reduced, so that the recipient can easily sense the scent of the vortex ring.
The air suction port of the smoke absorption device or the air cleaning device may be arranged so that the shortest distance between the outer periphery of the suction port and the outer periphery of the injection port is 3 cm or more and 15 cm or less in substantially the same plane as the injection port of the air gun. preferable. Here, “substantially in the same plane” means that the distance between planes is within ± 5 cm. When the surface of the suction port and the surface of the injection port are separated from each other by 5 cm, the suction of the fragrance and the micro droplet by the smoke absorbing device or the air cleaning device becomes insufficient. If the shortest distance between the outer peripheries is shorter than 3 cm, the sucked air disturbs the formation of the vortex ring. If it is longer than 15 cm, aroma and fine droplets are not sufficiently sucked.
Next, the aroma transmission device of the present invention will be described in detail below.

(Aroma generator)
The aroma generator generates the aroma described above. A publicly known method can be used for generation of aroma, for example, volatilization by heating, atomization by ultrasonic vibration, emission by blowing, and the like can be used. About a sublimable fragrance | solid which is solid at normal temperature, aroma can be produced | generated using the dispersion | distribution by ventilation.
(Micro droplet generator)
The minute droplet generator generates the aforementioned minute droplet. A well-known method can be used for the production | generation of a microdroplet, for example, volatilization by heating, atomization by ultrasonic vibration, etc. are mention | raise | lifted.
(Eject port)
A preferable diameter (diameter) of the injection port for injecting the vortex ring is as described above.
(Pressure device)
The pressurizing device injects the vortex ring from the injection port at the predetermined flight speed described above. The flight speed of the vortex ring can be adjusted by the pressurizing speed of the pressurizing device. When the pressurization speed is increased, the flight speed of the vortex ring is increased, and when the pressurization speed is decreased, the flight speed of the vortex ring is decreased.
(Positioning part)
In the present invention, a positioning portion for determining the position of the recipient is provided. The positioning unit may be anything as long as it determines the position of the recipient, for example, a chair placed on the floor, a figure or symbol drawn on the floor, a figure drawn on a sheet placed on the floor, It may be a symbol, a spotlight that illuminates the floor, a fence, a panel suspended from the ceiling, or the like. The recipient can smell the vortex ring flying while sitting on a chair provided as a positioning unit or standing on the floor surface defined by the positioning unit.
The distance from the injection port to the positioning part is 1 m or more and 3 m or less.
Here, the distance from the injection port to the positioning portion is defined as a horizontal distance from the opening center of the injection port to the center of the positioning portion. Note that the center of the positioning portion refers to the center point of the position of the person to be transmitted that is determined by the positioning portion. For example, when the positioning part is a chair, it represents the center of the seat surface of the chair, and when the positioning part is drawn with a rotationally symmetric figure or symbol such as a circle or x, the rotationally symmetric center is displayed with an arrow. If so, it represents the tip of the arrow

In addition, (aroma), (fine droplet), (aperture diameter of the vortex ring), (distance from the injection port to the recipient), (flying speed), (injection direction), (injection amount) , (Background color), (sitting posture), (video display device), (irradiation of non-white light), and the like are also applied to the first embodiment as they are, and overlapping descriptions are omitted as appropriate.

The
The
The operator of the
The filling start switch and the firing switch may operate in conjunction with an external input signal. For example, the driving
In the first embodiment, as described above, the vortex ring R including the fragrance and the fine droplets is ejected from the

The

(First Reference Example)
Next, a first reference example of the first embodiment described above will be described.
In the first reference example, a liquid crystal display was installed in front of the chair on which the person to be transferred sits, and an air cannon was installed below the liquid crystal display. The chair is installed at a position where the distance between the air gun outlet and the recipient is 2 m when the recipient is seated in the center of the chair. The air gun has an injection direction fixed obliquely upward so that a vortex ring can be emitted at the position of the approximate face of the recipient (adult) sitting in the center of the chair. The air cannon injects 800 cm 3 of gas from an injection port having a diameter (diameter) of 10 cm at a pressurized speed such that the vortex ring flies at a flight speed of 1.5 m / sec. The air cannon is covered with a brown casing with a saturation of about 90% (lightness of about 50%, hue 0 °) except for the outlet, and the outlet has a blackness of about 10% with a saturation of about 10%, A shutter having a hue of 0 ° is provided. As a result, the background color of the outlet when the recipient sees the outlet is dark.
The recipient is seated in the center of the chair and presses the video start switch provided on the remote controller of the liquid crystal display to start the video. A video introducing the product flows along with the sound on the liquid crystal display, and the recipient receives the video while sitting on a chair.
The air gun driving device receives a signal sent from the video start switch (remote control), starts a timer, and after a certain waiting time, the gas filling tank has an average particle diameter (diameter) mainly composed of propylene glycol. Start filling of fragrance containing about 10 μm fine droplets and moisture. The scent including moisture is adjusted to have the same scent as the product. Further, the driving device drives the pressurizing device after a certain waiting time and ejects the vortex ring.
Since the ejected vortex ring contains fine droplets mainly composed of propylene glycol, the visible vortex ring scatters visible light and becomes white turbid and visible. For this reason, the recipient of the vortex ring can visually recognize the vortex ring flying toward himself / herself while viewing the image of the product, and can smell the vortex ring by bringing the nose closer to the vortex ring.
According to such an embodiment, the recipient of the vortex ring recognizes the image (visual information) and the scent (fragrance information) of the product at the same time, and receives a strong impression regarding the product. In particular, since the vortex ring is visible, there is fun to follow the vortex ring with the nose and expectation of the fragrance felt from the approaching vortex ring, so that the recipient can enjoy the fragrance information of the product happily . Such entertainment is particularly effective for younger recipients.

(Examples and comparative examples)
Table 1, Table 2, and Table 3 show the strength of the scent to be felt and the degree of fragrance perception (ease of sniffing) using an air cannon having a structure similar to that shown in FIG. 3 of the first embodiment. The experimental result evaluated on several conditions is shown. In any of Tables 1 to 3, each of the experiments conducted under a plurality of conditions is specified by notations A to R.
In Tables 1 to 3, the intensity of fragrance is represented by the following criteria.
◎ Feel strong fragrance ○ Feel fragrance △ Feel weak fragrance × Don't feel fragrance In addition, the degree of difficulty in detecting fragrance is expressed by the following criteria.
○ Easy to smell fragrance △ Can smell fragrance × For those whose fragrance intensity is difficult to smell, the symbol-is entered because the degree of difficulty in detecting fragrance cannot be evaluated.
Table 1 shows the results of an experiment in which the distance between the injection port and the recipient is a parameter, the diameter of the injection port is 10 cm, the flying speed of the vortex ring is 1.5 m / second, and the volume of the injected gas is fixed at 800 cc. It is a table | surface which shows. Moreover, the used fragrance | flavor is a fruity fragrance | flavor and added the microdroplet which has moisture (the water atomized by the ultrasonic vibration) and propylene glycol as a main component.
According to Table 1, while the intensity of the scent increases as the distance between the injection port and the recipient becomes closer, the vortex ring that flies when the distance between the injection port and the recipient is too close as in Experiment A. Since there is no time to hang your nose, the difficulty in detecting fragrance is reduced. It was found that under the conditions of Experiment B, Experiment C, and Experiment D in which the distance between the outlet and the recipient was 1 to 3 m, the recipient can sense the scent of the fragrance relatively easily.
Table 2 shows the results of an experiment in which the flight speed of the vortex ring was a parameter, the distance between the injection port and the recipient was 2 m, the diameter of the injection port was 10 cm, and the volume of the injected gas was fixed at 800 cc. . Moreover, the used fragrance | flavor is a fruity fragrance | flavor and added the microdroplet which has moisture (the water atomized by the ultrasonic vibration) and propylene glycol as a main component.
According to Table 2, in Experiment G where the flying speed of the vortex ring is too slow, the vortex ring collapses during the flight, and the intensity of the scent decreases. On the other hand, in Experiments K and L where the speed of the vortex ring is too fast, the time during which the scent is felt is shortened, and the difficulty in detecting the scent decreases. It was found that under the conditions of Experiment H, Experiment I, and Experiment J in which the flight speed of the vortex ring was 1 m / sec to 2.5 m / sec, the recipient could sense the scent of the fragrance relatively easily.
Table 3 shows the results of an experiment in which the diameter of the injection port is a parameter, the flight speed of the vortex ring is 1.5 m / second, the distance between the injection port and the recipient is 2 m, and the volume of the injected gas is fixed at 800 cc. It is a table | surface which shows. Moreover, the used fragrance | flavor is a fruity fragrance | flavor and added the microdroplet which has moisture (the water atomized by the ultrasonic vibration) and propylene glycol as a main component.
According to Table 3, in Experiment M and Experiment N in which the diameter of the injection port is too small, the amount of aroma that the vortex ring can carry is small, and the intensity of the fragrance is reduced. On the other hand, in Experiment R in which the diameter of the injection port is too large, the aroma spreads and the fragrance detection difficulty level decreases. It was found that the recipient can detect the fragrance of the fragrance relatively easily under the conditions of Experiment O, Experiment P, and Experiment Q in which the diameter of the injection port is 4 cm to 15 cm.
