続いて、上述したケーブル接続構造1を構築するためのケーブル接続キットの一例について説明する。図4に示されるように、ケーブル接続キット2には、ケース31のパーツ31a,31bと、樹脂材34と、シール状の水検出センサ41,42と、シール状の温度センサ43と、テープ類47(自己融着テープ15、フィットテープ37など)と、がセットとして含まれている。樹脂材34は、例えば、袋に収納された2種の液体材料34a,34bを含む。液体材料34a,34bは、混合されたときに反応し樹脂部33を形成する。なお、図4においては、ケーブル接続キット2の各構成要素の形状や寸法等を誇張して描写している場合があり、図4における構成要素の寸法比は必ずしも他の図面とは一致しない。
