Description
The present invention relates to an image forming apparatus including a postprocessing means for performing processing after a predetermined the sheet over and.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an image forming apparatus including a sheet processing apparatus that aligns a plurality of sheets on which images are formed and selectively performs post-processing such as binding processing or punching processing on the sheets is known. For example, the sheet processing apparatus stacks and aligns sheets on which images are formed on a processing tray, performs a binding process on the sheets to form a sheet bundle, and then presses the rear end of the sheet bundle with a bundle discharge member. Discharge onto the loading tray. The stacking tray has an inclined stacking surface (around 30 °), and the sheet bundle discharged onto the stacking surface is returned to the opposite direction to the discharging direction so as to be aligned with the transport direction by hitting the stacking wall. (See Patent Document 1).
Some sheet processing apparatuses are disposed between the image forming apparatus main body and the image reading apparatus. For example, a post-processed sheet bundle is transferred between the image forming apparatus main body and the image reading apparatus. A sheet processing apparatus that discharges to a space is known. However, when the post-processed sheet bundle is discharged into the space between the image forming apparatus main body and the image reading apparatus, if the inclination angle of the stacking tray is increased, the number of sheets that can be stacked on the stacking tray decreases, and the productivity increases. There is a problem of lowering.
For this, the sheet bundle post-processed in the processing tray is gripped by the gripper, and loaded on the stacking tray while being gripped by the gripper, so that the stacking amount can be secured without increasing the inclination angle. An image forming apparatus has been proposed (see Patent Document 2).
However, when the gripper finishes the discharge operation, it is necessary to return to the home position for discharging the next sheet bundle, which has been a factor of reducing productivity.
The present invention aims at providing a suitably loadable images forming device post-treated sheet.

A sheet having a second size smaller than the first size in the discharge direction can be stacked on the first stacker while being stored in the first stacker, and the second stacker is the first stacker. in a state of being drawn outwardly from the space to the discharge direction downstream from a possible stacking the first sheet size in the first stacking portion and the second stacking portion, wherein the first stacking unit, upstream A loading surface and a downstream loading surface that is located downstream of the upstream loading surface in the discharge direction and has a smaller inclination than the upstream loading surface, and the boundary between the upstream loading surface and the downstream loading surface is A4 size that can be loaded on the first loading section without pulling out the second loading section. Of the center of gravity of the sheet is in the discharge direction downstream, the first inclination of the stacking surface of the second stacking portion in a state of being pulled out from the loading section is greater than the inclination of the stacking surface of the first stacking unit The inclination of the loading surface of the second loading unit in the state of being accommodated in the first loading unit is more than the inclination of the loading surface of the second loading unit in the state of being pulled out from the first loading unit. The discharge direction downstream end of the first stacking unit is smaller than the downstream end of the discharge sheet stacking unit in the discharge direction.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a suitably loadable images forming device post-treated sheet.
An image forming apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The image forming apparatus according to the present embodiment is an image forming apparatus provided with post-processing means such as a copying machine, a printer, a facsimile machine, and a multi-function machine. In the following embodiments, an electrophotographic laser beam printer (hereinafter referred to as “printer”) 900 will be described.
First, a schematic configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 1, a

For example, when an image of a document is read by the

On the other hand, sheets P on which images are formed are stored in a

Next, the configuration of the controller that controls the
As shown in FIG. 2, the controller includes a CPU circuit unit 200, and the CPU circuit unit 200 includes a
The CPU circuit unit 200 comprehensively controls the

The
As shown in FIG. 3, the finisher control unit 220 includes a
For example, the finisher control unit 220 drives and controls various motors of the
Next, the
As shown in FIG. 4A, the sheet P discharged from the printer
At this time, discharge of the sheet P to the
As shown in FIG. 4B, when the sheet P falls on the
The
After the sheet bundle PA is formed, when the binding process using the stapler needle is performed on the sheet bundle PA, the STP motor M256 that drives the
As shown in FIG. 6, in order to prevent the sheet bundle PA discharged to the stacking
By performing the series of operations described above, the required number of sheet bundles PA can be discharged to the stacking tray 114 (step S18). In addition, during operation, when the stacking
Next, the stacking
The stacking
Further, the stacking
The stacking
As described above, the
Further, the
Further, for example, when the sheet bundle is discharged to the stacking tray by the gripper, the gripper is released before the rear end of the sheet bundle is abutted against the stacking
Furthermore, the stacking
