Description
The present invention relates to an adsorber having an adsorption heat exchange section provided around a heat medium pipe.
The adsorber includes, for example, a heat medium pipe through which a heat exchange medium can flow and an adsorbent capable of adsorbing and desorbing a gas phase refrigerant such as water vapor. Specifically, for example,
However, in the heat exchange metal tube having the conventional configuration described above, heat is easily transmitted to the adsorbent close to the center hole, but the adsorbent present at a position away from the center hole has poor heat conductivity. Since heat needs to be conducted through the material itself, heat is not easily transmitted. Therefore, there exists a problem that heat conductivity is inadequate. Further, when the adsorbent is wetted with water, its crystal structure may be destroyed and the adsorption capacity may be reduced. Therefore, it is desired to develop an adsorber that can prevent the adsorbent from being destroyed even if it is exposed to water due to condensation or the like.
The present invention has been made in view of such a background, and intends to provide an adsorber having both excellent thermal conductivity and waterproofness.
One aspect of the present invention is an adsorber having a heat medium pipe through which a heat exchange medium can flow and an adsorption heat exchange section provided around the heat medium pipe,
The adsorption heat exchanging section covers a porous heat transfer body made of a sintered metal powder, an adsorbent encapsulated in the pores of the porous heat transfer body, and at least a part of the adsorbent. together, they possess an organic binder to crosslink and the porous heat transfer member and the suction member,
The adsorption heat exchanging portion has a fillet portion made of the organic binder that bridges between the adsorbent and the porous heat transfer body, and has one adsorbent and the adsorbent surrounding the adsorbent. In the adsorber, a plurality of fillet portions are formed between the porous heat transfer body .
In the adsorber, the adsorption heat exchange section provided around the heat medium tube includes a porous heat transfer body made of a sintered metal powder having excellent thermal conductivity, and the porous heat transfer body An adsorbent is enclosed in the pores. An organic binder crosslinks the porous heat transfer body and the adsorbent. Therefore, heat is conducted between the heat exchange medium in the heat medium pipe and the adsorbent through a porous heat transfer body made of a sintered body of metal powder having high thermal conductivity. Therefore, the adsorber is excellent in thermal conductivity.
The organic binder covers at least a part of the adsorbent. Therefore, waterproofness is imparted to the adsorbent, and the crystal structure of the adsorbent can be prevented from being destroyed by being exposed to water. Therefore, in the adsorber, a decrease in adsorption capacity can be suppressed.
The adsorber can exhibit the refrigerating capacity by evaporating the refrigerant by using an action in which the adsorbent contained therein adsorbs a gas-phase refrigerant such as water vapor, and the latent heat of evaporation. The adsorber can be applied to an air conditioner for vehicles, for example.
Example 1
An embodiment of the adsorber will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
In this example, the
As shown in FIG. 3, the porous
The adsorbent 32 is particles made of zeolite and is enclosed in the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
Thus, by sealing the end opening of the
The
The
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, in the
In the
The adsorbent 32 is preferably zeolite. In this case, the adsorbent 32 can sufficiently adsorb vapor phase refrigerant such as water vapor. Further, in this case, when the
As the
The adsorption
Examples of the shape of the
Mixing of the
In the impregnation step, the porous
In the drying step, the solvent or water is evaporated by drying the porous
In the crosslinking step, the organic binder is crosslinked by heating. The heating temperature in the crosslinking step can be appropriately adjusted according to the crosslinking temperature of the organic binder. By using an epoxy resin as the organic binder, it is possible to form the above waterproof and moisture permeable membrane after the crosslinking step.
Thus, the adsorption
