Description
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and an outdoor unit including the heat exchanger, and in particular, a plurality of main heat exchange units arranged vertically and a plurality of sub heat exchange units arranged vertically below the plurality of main heat exchange units. The present invention relates to a heat exchanger in which a plurality of refrigerant paths are formed by being connected to each other via a communication pipe, and an outdoor unit including the heat exchanger.
Conventionally, as shown in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2012-163319), a plurality of main heat exchange units arranged vertically and a plurality of sub-units arranged vertically below the plurality of main heat exchange units There is a heat exchanger in which a plurality of refrigerant paths are formed by being connected to a heat exchange part via a communication pipe, and an outdoor unit including the heat exchanger.
In the heat exchanger of Patent Document 1, when functioning as a refrigerant evaporator, it is difficult to equalize pressure loss in each refrigerant path, and it is difficult to flow a desired flow rate of refrigerant through each refrigerant path. In particular, when the height of the heat exchanger is increased, the tendency becomes remarkable.
An object of the present invention is to connect a plurality of main heat exchange units arranged vertically and a plurality of sub heat exchange units arranged vertically below the plurality of main heat exchange units via a communication pipe. In the heat exchanger in which a plurality of refrigerant paths are formed and the outdoor unit including the same, pressure loss in each refrigerant path is equalized so that a desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through each refrigerant path. There is.
The heat exchanger according to the first aspect includes a plurality of main heat exchange units arranged vertically and a plurality of sub heat exchange units arranged vertically below the plurality of main heat exchange units. A plurality of refrigerant paths are formed by connecting predetermined main heat exchange units and sub heat exchange units among the plurality of main heat exchange units and the plurality of sub heat exchange units via a communication pipe. . In this case, the plurality of communication pipes have a horizontal pipe length that is the horizontal length obtained by subtracting the vertical pipe length from the total pipe length that is the total length of the communication pipe in the order of the vertical pipe length that is the vertical length of the communication pipe. Is getting longer.
By connecting a plurality of main heat exchange units arranged vertically and a plurality of sub heat exchange units arranged vertically below the plurality of main heat exchange units via a communication pipe, a plurality of refrigerant paths are formed. In the formed heat exchanger, each communication pipe has a portion extending in the vertical direction from the sub heat exchange section to the main heat exchange section, and when functioning as a refrigerant evaporator, The gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant that has passed through the sub heat exchange section flows. For this reason, in each communicating pipe, the liquid head according to the length of the vertical pipe is generated. Such a difference in the liquid head in each communication pipe makes it difficult to equalize the pressure loss in each refrigerant path, making it difficult to flow a desired flow rate of refrigerant through each refrigerant path.
Therefore, here, as described above, a plurality of communication pipes are arranged in a horizontal length obtained by subtracting the vertical pipe length from the total pipe length, which is the total length of the communication pipes, in ascending order of the vertical pipe length, which is the vertical length of the communication pipe. The length of the horizontal pipe is longer. For this reason, for communication pipes with a long vertical pipe length and a large liquid head, adjustment is made to reduce the pressure loss in the communication pipe by shortening the horizontal pipe length, and for a communication pipe with a short vertical pipe length and a small liquid head, It can be adjusted to increase the pressure loss in the communication pipe by increasing the pipe length. By adjusting the pressure loss including the liquid head in the communication pipe, the pressure loss in each refrigerant path including the sub heat exchange unit and the main heat exchange unit can be equalized. A desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through the path.
The heat exchanger according to the second aspect is the heat exchanger according to the first aspect, wherein the same number of the plurality of main heat exchange units and the plurality of sub heat exchange units exist, and each main heat exchange unit includes The one-to-one connection to a predetermined one of the plurality of sub heat exchange units.
Here, when functioning as a refrigerant evaporator, the refrigerant that has passed through each sub heat exchange section is sent to the corresponding one main heat exchange section through the communication pipe. Even in such a refrigerant path configuration in which the main heat exchange unit and the sub heat exchange unit are connected one-to-one, the pressure loss in each refrigerant path can be equalized by adjusting the pressure loss in the communication pipe. Thus, a desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through each refrigerant path.
The heat exchanger according to the third aspect is the heat exchanger according to the second aspect, wherein the plurality of main heat exchange units and the plurality of sub heat exchange units are connected to each other in the corresponding stages in order from the upper side. ing. That is, here, the number of stages is set in order from the upper side or the lower side in the plurality of main heat exchange units, and the number of stages is set in order from the upper side or the lower side in the plurality of sub heat exchange units, and the main heat exchange unit having the same number of stages And the sub heat exchange parts are connected through the communicating pipe.
Here, when functioning as a refrigerant evaporator, the refrigerant that has passed through each sub heat exchange section is sent to the main heat exchange section in the same stage through the communication pipe. Even in the refrigerant path configuration in which the main heat exchange units and the sub heat exchange units having the same number of stages are connected to each other, the pressure loss in each refrigerant path can be equalized by adjusting the pressure loss in the communication pipe. Thus, a desired flow rate of refrigerant can be caused to flow through each refrigerant path.
The heat exchanger according to the fourth aspect is the heat exchanger according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the plurality of main heat exchange units each have a plurality of flat tubes arranged vertically. The plurality of main heat exchange units have different numbers of flat tubes.
Here, since the main heat exchange units have different vertical sizes, the communication pipes corresponding to the main heat exchange units also have various vertical pipe lengths. In the refrigerant path configuration in which the number of flat tubes constituting the main heat exchange section is different, it is difficult to equalize the pressure loss in each refrigerant path. Here, by adjusting the pressure loss in the communication pipe, each refrigerant Pressure loss in the paths can be equalized, and a desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through each refrigerant path.
The heat exchanger according to the fifth aspect is the heat exchanger according to the fourth aspect, wherein the number of flat tubes included in each main heat exchange section is smaller as the wind speed of the air passing through the main heat exchange section is larger. It has become.
The wind speed of the air passing through each part of the heat exchanger varies depending on the arrangement of the blower that sends air to the heat exchanger. And the heat exchange efficiency of a heat exchanger is so high that the wind speed of the air which passes is high. Here, in consideration of such a tendency, as described above, the number of flat tubes included in the main heat exchange section in which the wind speed of the passing air is high is reduced. For this reason, the size in the vertical direction of each main heat exchange section is different here, and the communication pipe corresponding to each main heat exchange section also has various vertical pipe lengths. In the refrigerant path configuration in which the number of flat tubes is different in consideration of such air velocity distribution, it is difficult to equalize the pressure loss in each refrigerant path. Here, the adjustment of the pressure loss in the above communication pipe is performed. Thus, pressure loss in each refrigerant path can be equalized, and a desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through each refrigerant path.
An outdoor unit according to a sixth aspect includes a casing in which an air inlet port is formed on a side surface and an air outlet port on a top surface, a blower disposed in the casing so as to face the outlet port, and in the casing And a heat exchanger according to any one of the first to fifth aspects arranged on the lower side of the blower.
Here, a heat exchanger in which the pressure loss in the above communication pipe is adjusted is adopted as a heat exchanger that constitutes an upper blow type outdoor unit that sucks air from the side surface of the casing and blows air from the top surface of the casing. doing. Even in this case, the pressure loss in each refrigerant path can be equalized, and a refrigerant having a desired flow rate can be caused to flow in each refrigerant path.
In the outdoor unit according to the seventh aspect, in the outdoor unit according to the sixth aspect, the number of flat tubes included in the main heat exchange unit is smaller as the main heat exchange unit is arranged on the upper side.
In the top blow type outdoor unit, the wind speed of the air passing through each part of the heat exchanger is large in the upper part of the heat exchanger close to the blower and is small in the lower part of the heat exchanger. And the heat exchange efficiency of a heat exchanger is so high that the wind speed of the air which passes is high. Here, in consideration of such a tendency, as described above, the number of flat tubes is reduced in the upper main heat exchange section where the wind speed of the passing air is larger. For this reason, here, the vertical size of each main heat exchange section becomes smaller as it goes upward, and the length of the communication pipe becomes longer as it corresponds to the upper main heat exchange section. In the refrigerant path configuration in which the number of flat tubes is made different in consideration of the air velocity distribution in the top-blowing outdoor unit, it is difficult to equalize the pressure loss in each refrigerant path. By adjusting the pressure loss in the communication pipe, the pressure loss in each refrigerant path can be equalized, and a desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through each refrigerant path. Specifically, for the communication pipe corresponding to the upper main heat exchange section having a long vertical pipe length and a large liquid head, the horizontal pipe length is adjusted to reduce the pressure loss in the communication pipe by shortening the horizontal pipe length. The communication pipe corresponding to the lower main heat exchanging section with a short liquid head is adjusted to increase the pressure loss in the communication pipe by increasing the horizontal pipe length.
As described in the above description, according to the present invention, the communication pipe having a long vertical pipe length and a large liquid head is adjusted so that the pressure loss in the communication pipe is reduced by shortening the horizontal pipe length. For a communication pipe that is short and has a small liquid head, it is possible to increase the pressure loss in the communication pipe by increasing the horizontal pipe length. By adjusting the pressure loss including the liquid head in the communication pipe, the pressure loss in each refrigerant path including the sub heat exchange unit and the main heat exchange unit can be equalized. A desired flow rate of refrigerant can flow through the path.

The
The
The large number of
As described above, the
The
A plurality (9 in this case) of communication pipes 97 </ b> A to 97 </ b> I are connected to the
As described above, the entrance /
The
And in the
On the other hand, here, the plurality of
For this reason, for a communication pipe having a long vertical pipe length and a large liquid head (for example, the ninth communication pipe 97I corresponding to the uppermost ninth main heat exchange section 61I), the pressure loss in the communication pipe is reduced by shortening the horizontal pipe length. For a communication pipe with a short vertical pipe length and a small liquid head (for example, the
