Description
The present invention relates to a heat accumulator for a thermoacoustic device.
Conventionally, various thermoacoustic apparatuses that convert thermal energy into acoustic energy have been proposed. As an example of such a thermoacoustic device,
The pores inside the heat accumulator are formed by stacking metal mesh materials or by laminating metal thin plates on which a large number of pores are formed. In addition to these, it is also possible to form pores inside the regenerator by laminating wire mesh knitted wires, sintering a plurality of metal spheres, or concentrating ultrafine pipes. It has been broken. In addition, a heat accumulator is formed by a ceramic honeycomb made of porous ceramics, and pores are formed by the cells (holes).
However, according to the configuration disclosed in
Specifically, among various factors, the pore diameter inside the regenerator, the thermal conductivity of the regenerator itself, the aperture ratio of the pores in the regenerator, and the shape of the pores greatly affect the energy conversion efficiency inside the regenerator. Is known to affect. Therefore, the energy conversion efficiency inside the heat accumulator can be improved by optimizing these conditions.
The optimum value of the pore diameter inside the regenerator fluctuates depending on conditions such as the gas pressure and operating temperature of the working gas, but generally the higher the working gas inside the regenerator is at higher and lower temperatures, the more appropriate value is There is a tendency to become smaller. For example, when liquefied natural gas (LNG) is employed as a cold heat source for generating a temperature gradient in the regenerator, the appropriate value of the pore diameter is 100 μm or less, and the appropriate value is in a very small value range. Therefore, it is required to set the pore diameter to be sufficiently small according to conditions such as the gas pressure of the working gas and the working temperature. When the pore diameter inside the heat accumulator cannot be set to a sufficiently small value, it becomes difficult to set the pore diameter to an appropriate value, which may cause a decrease in energy conversion efficiency inside the heat accumulator.
In the configuration disclosed in
In addition, when the pores inside the heat accumulator are formed by laminating metal thin plates having a large number of pores, the pores must be formed in the correct size and position by pattern etching. As a result, a large number of linear pores that are not blocked can be formed. However, in the case of pattern etching, the partition walls that partition the pores cannot be made sufficiently thin. Therefore, when the pore diameter becomes small, the partition walls become thicker than the pore diameter, and the aperture ratio of the pores decreases. . Therefore, also in this case, as described above, the energy conversion efficiency inside the heat accumulator is lowered.
Moreover, when the pores inside the heat accumulator are formed by densely gathering extremely fine pipes, a large number of linear pores that are not blocked can be formed, and the pore diameter can be made sufficiently small. However, when the pore diameter becomes small, the pipe becomes thick with respect to the pore diameter, and the aperture ratio of the pores decreases. Therefore, also in this case, as described above, the energy conversion efficiency inside the heat accumulator is lowered.
In addition, when the heat accumulator is formed of a metal mesh material or a metal thin plate, the heat conductivity of the heat accumulator itself may be relatively high. In this case, even if a temperature gradient is generated between both ends of the heat accumulator, heat is not propagated to the working gas in the heat accumulator but is easily propagated to the heat accumulator itself. May decrease.
In addition, when the pores are formed by laminating a wire mesh knitted with a wire or by sintering a plurality of metal spheres, the shape of the pores does not become linear. The energy conversion efficiency inside the chamber is reduced. In these cases, some of the pores may be blocked. When the pores are blocked, the working gas cannot flow through the pores, so that the propagation of sound waves is hindered and the conversion efficiency to acoustic energy is reduced.
In addition, when the pores are formed of ceramic honeycomb cells, while maintaining the thermal conductivity of the regenerator itself low, the pores can be linear and not blocked. A high aperture ratio can be ensured. However, although the lower limit of the cell diameter is equivalent to 250 μm, there is room for improvement because a smaller pore diameter may be required to improve the energy conversion efficiency inside the regenerator. .
The present invention has been made in view of such a background, and intends to provide a heat accumulator for a thermoacoustic apparatus having high energy conversion efficiency from heat to sound waves.
In one embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of base materials each made of a resin thin film are stacked via a spacer layer,
In the spacer layer, a plurality of spacers extending perpendicularly to the stacking direction of the base material and formed over both end portions of the base material are arranged in parallel with each other at equal intervals, and the stacked layers A plurality of linear and non-blocking pores formed by the substrate and the spacers adjacent to each other are formed,
The height of the stacking direction of the spacers state, and are in the range of 50 to 200 [mu] m,
The spacing between the adjacent spacers is in the range of 500 to 2000 μm,
The aperture ratio of the pores is in the range of 70 to 90%,
The thermal conductivity of the material for forming the base material and the spacer is 10 W / mK or less, and the heat accumulator for a thermoacoustic device is provided.
In the heat accumulator for a thermoacoustic device, a plurality of pores surrounded by the laminated base material and spacers arranged in parallel to each other are formed. The opening width of the pores is defined by the spacing in the arrangement direction of adjacent spacers in the spacer layer, and the opening height of the pores (the length in the direction perpendicular to the opening width) is defined by the thickness of the spacer. Is done. Thereby, the opening width and opening height of the plurality of pores can be easily reduced and made uniform by reducing the interval and thickness of the spacers. Furthermore, since both the base material and the spacer are made of resin, the thermal conductivity can be lowered as compared with the case of being made of metal. Further, since the plurality of pores are partitioned by the base material and the spacer, the aperture ratio of the pores in the heat accumulator can be easily increased by adjusting the thickness of the base material and the width and height of the spacer. . And since the pore is formed along the spacer extended perpendicularly | vertically to the lamination direction of a base material, while being formed in linear form, the pore is not obstruct | occluded on the way.
That is, the pore diameter defined by the opening width and height of the pores is made sufficiently small (first condition), the thermal conductivity of the regenerator itself is kept low (second condition), and the opening ratio of the pores Can be made high (third condition), and the pores can be made straight and non-blocked (fourth condition). The heat accumulator for the thermoacoustic device exhibits high energy conversion efficiency by positively adopting a configuration that satisfies all these four conditions.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the thermal accumulator for thermoacoustic apparatuses with high energy conversion efficiency from a heat | fever to a sound wave can be provided.
In the above heat accumulator for thermoacoustic devices, “the plurality of spacers are parallel to each other and equally spaced” means that the plurality of spacers are completely parallel and equally spaced apart from each other. Even when the distance is not equal, it includes a case where it can be recognized that the distance is substantially parallel and equally spaced within the range where the above-described effects are achieved.
The appropriate value of the pore diameter (first condition) inside the regenerator can be determined in consideration of conditions such as the gas pressure of the working gas and the working temperature. For example, when liquefied natural gas (LNG) is adopted as a cold source for generating a temperature gradient between both ends of the regenerator, the gas pressure of the working gas is 1 MPa to 3 MPa, and the working temperature is −100 ° C. to −160 ° C. In this case, an appropriate value of the pore diameter can be 50 to 200 μm, more preferably 60 to 100 μm, and still more preferably 70 to 90 μm. Thereby, the energy conversion efficiency inside a thermal storage device is improved.
The thermal conductivity (second condition) of the regenerator itself is preferably low. As a result, when a temperature gradient is generated between both ends of the regenerator, heat is not propagated to the regenerator itself without being propagated to the working gas, and heat is actively propagated to the working gas. Therefore, energy conversion efficiency can be improved. Since the thermal conductivity of the heat accumulator itself depends on the thermal conductivity of the pore forming material, it is preferable to employ a material having a low thermal conductivity as the pore (base material and spacer) forming material. For example, the thermal conductivity of the material for forming the base material and the spacer is preferably 10 W / mK or less, and more preferably 1 W / mK or less. For example, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or the like can be used as a material for forming the base material and the spacer.
The base material needs to have a predetermined strength in order to securely hold the spacer and maintain the shape of the pores, and preferably has an appropriate flexibility from the viewpoint of handling properties when laminated. . For example, it is preferable to employ polypropylene as the base material forming material. This is because the thermal conductivity is low and the strength and flexibility are excellent.
On the other hand, the spacer is preferably formed by printing a curable resin on the surface of the substrate. Thereby, a spacer can be easily arrange | positioned in the predetermined position of a base material. As a material for forming the spacer, a resin material that is cured by energy rays (for example, heat (heat rays), light (including light other than visible light such as ultraviolet rays), electron beams) can be used, for example, thermosetting resin. , A photo-curable resin, an electron beam curable resin, or the like can be used. Among these, it is preferable to employ a photocurable resin. Accordingly, it becomes easy to accurately form the spacers into a predetermined shape and accurately dispose the plurality of spacers at predetermined positions on the base material.
Moreover, it is preferable that the aperture ratio (3rd condition) of the pore inside a thermal storage device is high. Thereby, the heat exchange efficiency between the working gas and the regenerator through the pores is improved, and the energy conversion efficiency inside the regenerator is improved. The aperture ratio of the pores inside the heat accumulator can be, for example, 70 to 90%, preferably 80 to 90%.
The shape of the pores formed between the spacers is not closed but linear (fourth condition). Since the pores are not blocked, the working gas can flow through the pores. Thereby, the sound wave generated by the thermal expansion and contraction of the working gas is efficiently propagated, and the conversion efficiency from thermal energy to acoustic energy is improved. Furthermore, since the pores are linear, the propagation direction of sound waves generated by thermal expansion and contraction of the working gas in the pores becomes uniform, so that the propagation efficiency of acoustic energy is improved and the energy conversion efficiency is improved. It is done.
The base material is preferably wound and laminated in a roll shape with an axis parallel to the extending direction of the plurality of spacers as a winding axis. Thereby, a plurality of spacers can be easily stacked so as to extend in the same direction. Moreover, since the formed heat accumulator becomes a columnar shape, it becomes easy to install the heat accumulator in a cylindrical loop tube provided in the thermoacoustic apparatus without a gap.

As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
In this example, the
As described above, by winding the
The
α=(d×h)/((s+h)×(d+w))×100 ・・・(式1) α = (d × h) / ((s + h) × (d + w)) × 100 (Equation 1)
As shown in FIG. 1, the
In the
Thereafter, the generated sound wave circulates in the
According to the
That is, the pore diameter defined by the
In this example, the
In this example, the
In this example, water is used as a heat source for the
In this example, the
In this example, the
In this example, the
