Description
The present invention relates to a facility for growing plants such as vegetables and fruits.
For example, plants such as vegetables and fruits are cultivated in facilities (hereinafter simply referred to as cultivation facilities) in which growth environments such as light, temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, nutrients and moisture can be artificially controlled. Compared to cultivating plants in a natural environment, the cultivating facility can realize a growth environment suitable for the plant to be cultivated, so that it is possible to perform annual and planned production of plants. As an example, an example of mass production cultivation of strawberries in a completely artificial light plant factory is known (for example, Patent Document 1).
As a form of cultivation facility, one that forms a plant growth environment underground is known (for example,
Cultivation facilities that use underground space have great advantages, but the main reason that has not been generally realized so far is that it is difficult to obtain the amount of light necessary for plant photosynthesis at low cost. is there. That is, if an attempt is made to generate an amount of light necessary for photosynthesis using artificial light instead of sunlight, it is not possible to fully receive the benefit of cost reduction in temperature adjustment.
On the other hand,
The advantage of underground cultivation is that it is easy to obtain a clean environment in addition to temperature. In order to realize cultivation in this clean environment, several requirements are required, but in that case, human entry and exit may be omitted as much as possible.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a cultivation facility that can reduce human entry and exit to the cultivation room as much as possible in realizing underground cultivation.
The cultivation facility of the present invention, which is made for this purpose, consists of a space where the introduction of sunlight is blocked, connects the cultivation room for cultivation of plants, the ground and the cultivation room, and guides sunlight to the cultivation room. A harvesting robot arranged in the cultivation room and harvesting the cultivated plant, the robot is driven by electric power that is mounted and generated by a solar cell, and the solar cell is irradiated through the optical path. Electricity is generated by light , and the optical path is set to have a layout so that the irradiation path of the harvesting robot is more irradiated with sunlight than other areas .
In the cultivation facility of the present invention, since the harvesting robot harvests the cultivated plant, it is possible to save human beings from entering the cultivation room for harvesting as much as possible, which can contribute to cultivation in a clean environment.
Moreover, since the harvesting robot of the present invention is driven by the electric power generated by the sunlight irradiated through the optical path, it is possible to save the trouble of moving to the ground to generate electric power.
In the present invention, the space limited to the introduction of sunlight typically means the basement, but is not limited to the basement, and includes the inside of the building, the basement and foundation of the building (building), the inside of the cave, and the like. As it is, it encompasses a wide range of spaces where it is difficult to introduce sunlight necessary for plant cultivation.
In the cultivation facility of the present invention, since the harvesting robot harvests the cultivated plant, it is possible to save human beings from entering the cultivation room for harvesting as much as possible, which can contribute to cultivation in a clean environment.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, taking a basement as a space where introduction of sunlight is limited as an example.
The
[Cultivation room 2]
The
This underground space can be artificially formed like a basement of a building, or a naturally formed one can be used. It can also be formed by modifying the naturally formed underground space. This underground space can be civilized so that the surrounding ground wall does not collapse, or it can be formed by burying a rectangular parallelepiped casing in the basement. it can.
The shape and dimensions of the underground space are arbitrary, and are set in consideration of, for example, the amount of plants to be cultivated and the space necessary for operations such as cultivation and harvesting.
The
Since the
The
In the
The
The

[Optical path 30]
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The wavelength of light necessary for plant cultivation, in other words, photosynthesis, is 400 to 700 nm. In order to cultivate plants in the
In the present embodiment, it is recommended to use a light guide having a core as a fluid for the main
First, the light guide of the present embodiment can significantly reduce the cost as compared with an optical fiber having a solid core. Assuming that the same light intensity is obtained, the cost of the light guide according to the present embodiment is about 1/10 that of an optical fiber having a solid core.
Next, the light guide of this embodiment has higher light transmission efficiency than an optical fiber having a solid core. If the core is made of a solid, there is a limit to increasing the diameter of each single wire. Therefore, in order to transmit stronger light intensity, a bundle of multiple optical fibers is used. It needs to be in the form of a bundle. However, since the cross section of the optical fiber is circular, a dead space that is not involved in the transmission of light inevitably occurs between the individual fibers. On the other hand, in the light guide of this embodiment, the core is occupied by the fluid, and no dead space is generated, so that the light transmission efficiency is high. The difference in the light transmission efficiency increases as the diameter increases, so that the difference in the light transmission efficiency increases as the application requires high strength.
As a light guide of this embodiment, what a core consists of liquid and what a core consists of gas are included.
The light guide whose core is made of liquid is generally called a liquid light guide. In the liquid light guide, the hollow portion of the resin tube is filled with liquid, the liquid portion functions as a core having a relatively high refractive index, and the tube disposed around the liquid has a relatively refractive index. Acts as a low cladding. The light introduced into the liquid light guide travels while repeating total reflection on the inner wall surface of the resin tube.
Since the liquid light guide can select the wavelength of light to be transmitted according to the type of liquid that forms the core, in this embodiment, the visible light region including the wavelength of light (400 to 700 nm) necessary for photosynthesis is selected. It is preferable to use a liquid light guide that transmits light.
For example, the following URL (Non-Patent Document 1) shows that LUMATEC (Germany) provides four types of liquid ride guides having different wavelength ranges for transmission. According to
Since the liquid light guide has a wire diameter of several mm or more, the cross-sectional area is larger than that of an optical fiber having a fixed core.
Next, in the light guide body in which the core is made of gas, the portion corresponding to the cladding of the optical fiber is made of a metal tube, and the hollow portion of the metal tube occupies the air as the core. This light guide is hereinafter referred to as a hollow tube. The sunlight SL introduced into the hollow tube proceeds while being repeatedly reflected on the inner wall surface of the hollow tube. Currently, there is a hollow tube having an inner wall surface with a reflectance exceeding 99%. In this embodiment, it is preferable to use such a highly reflective hollow tube.
The hollow tube has an advantage that the opening diameter can be set almost arbitrarily.
The
[Diffusion part 40]
Next, the diffusing
As shown in FIG. 3, the diffusing
The diffuser plate 41 is disposed so as to contact the end of each sub
The
As the

[Harvesting robot 50]
In the present invention, the operation of harvesting the cultivated plant can be relied on manually, but as shown in FIG. 4, it can be harvested using a
As shown in FIG. 5A, the
The
The
Although the magnetic navigation method is a preferred form, the present invention can employ other means for enabling autonomous movement such as other odometry methods, landmark methods, and GPS navigation methods.
The

The

Moreover, since the
When this arrangement is adopted, it is preferable to realize a light irradiation state corresponding to a condition convenient for recognizing a strawberry photographed by the
[Remote monitoring system 60]
As shown in FIG. 7, the
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
When the illuminance information L1 deviates from the allowable illuminance range ΔL1, the

The
As shown in FIG. 8, a
The
In addition, by linking with the identification information ID, environmental information from the beginning of cultivation of the plant through harvesting until transportation is completed can be grasped in chronological order, so that traceability of the plant to consumers is traceable. Can be secured.
