Description
The present invention relates to an imaging unit, an image reading apparatus, and an image forming apparatus.
There is known a technique in which an imaging unit used in a digital camera, a scanner, or the like is configured by an imaging element represented by a CCD or CMOS, a circuit board, and various ICs.
The imaging unit generates heat when energized. Here, in many cases, the thermal expansion coefficient differs between the image sensor and the circuit board. Therefore, the image pickup element and the circuit board arranged adjacent to each other have different expansion amounts due to heat generation of the image pickup unit. For example, the expansion amount of the image sensor may be smaller than the expansion amount of the circuit board.
The image pickup device and the circuit board may expand by different expansion amounts, whereby stress may be applied to the image pickup device from the circuit board and bend. The curved imaging device has a deteriorated optical performance because the imaging surface is curved.
So far, there has been proposed an imaging unit in which a low thermal expansion member is fixed to a portion of the circuit board corresponding to the back side of the planned mounting portion of the imaging element (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, the image pickup unit proposed in
Therefore, there is a need for an imaging unit that efficiently relieves stress from the circuit board applied to the imaging element.
An object of the present invention is to provide an imaging unit that efficiently relieves stress from a circuit board applied to an imaging element.
An imaging unit according to the present invention includes an imaging element, a holding member that holds the imaging element to which the imaging element is bonded, and a deformation suppression member that is bonded to the imaging element and suppresses deformation of the imaging element. a unit, the holding member and the imaging element is fixed by an adhesive member, the linear expansion coefficient of the imaging element [alpha] 1, the linear expansion coefficient of the hold member [alpha] 2, the linear expansion coefficient of the deformation suppression member was α3 When satisfying α2 <α1 <α3 or α2>α1> α3, the length LZ in the long side direction of the rectangular application region of the adhesive member applied to the image sensor and the length in the long side direction of the deformation suppressing member LX is characterized by satisfying the relationship of 1/2 * LZ <LX <3/2 * LZ .
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the stress from the circuit board concerning an image pick-up element can be relieve | moderated efficiently.
Hereinafter, an imaging unit according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
● Imaging unit (1) ●
First, an embodiment of an imaging unit according to the present invention will be described.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the

FIG. 3 is a partially enlarged view of the

First, a case where the relationship among α1, α2, and α3 satisfies
α2<α3<α1
(Formula 1)
α2 <α3 <α1
The
(Formula 2)
Here, the stress which generate | occur | produces in the image pick-up
Since the
On the other hand, between the
The
Next, a case where the relationship among α1, α2, and α3 satisfies
α2>α3>α1
(Formula 3)
α2>α3> α1
At this time, the stress between the
FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the
In FIG. 4, the long side length of the
Note that the
FIG. 5 is a graph showing the relationship between the volume ratio of the
A broken line parallel to the vertical axis indicates a position where LX corresponds to LZ, 1/2 * LZ and 3/2 * LZ when LX is changed.
FIG. 6 is a graph showing the relationship between the volume ratio of the
It can be seen that the amount of deflection per unit volume of the

As shown in FIG. 7, the

Hereinafter, the expansion amount due to the heat of the
Here, a case where the relationship between α1, α2, and α3 satisfies Equation 2 will be considered.
