Description
The present invention relates to a front upper structure of a vehicle body such as an automobile.
In an automobile, an engine or the like is arranged at the front part of the vehicle body, and thus a hood panel that can be opened and closed is used on the front upper surface of the vehicle body. The hood panel is generally attached to the vehicle body such that the front edge thereof can move up and down. By opening the hood panel upward, maintenance and inspection of the engine and the like arranged at the front of the vehicle body can be performed.
In the vehicle body, a front panel is provided on the front side of the hood panel, and a fender panel is provided on both sides of the hood panel in the left-right width direction.
By the way, in a vehicle such as an automobile, for example, a person collides with the vehicle body, and an upper body part such as a head of the person who bumps may ride on the vehicle body. At this time, the human body hits a food panel, for example. And it can absorb an impact by transforming so that a food panel may be pushed down by a human body, and as a result, there is a possibility that the obstacle value of a human body can be lowered.
Moreover, in
And it is possible to apply the technique of
However, on the front side of the hood panel, unlike the fender panels provided on the left and right sides of the hood panel, for example, rigidity that can hold the hood panel in a closed state is required.
In addition, unlike the fender panels provided on the left and right sides of the hood panel, for example, a locking member for locking the front end of the closed hood panel is provided on the front side of the hood panel. The locking member is provided on, for example, a cross frame extending in the width direction of the vehicle body, a panel between the cross frame and the front panel, or the front panel. As a result, when closing the hood panel, the user may strongly press the front end or front panel of the hood panel from above.
As a result, when the cross frame extending in the width direction of the vehicle body and the front panel are connected with an inclined panel inclined to the rear side of the vehicle body, for example, using the technique of
In particular, in order to lock the front end of the hood panel to the locking member, the user may push down the front end of the hood panel or the front panel while dropping the front panel from a slightly raised position. There is a high possibility that the inclined panel will be deformed.
As described above, in a car body such as an automobile, the front panel can be suitably used for normal use and input when opening and closing the hood panel, while ensuring the rigidity of the front panel, while the front panel and the hood panel hit the front panel. Is required to be easily deformable together with the hood panel.
A front upper structure of a vehicle body according to the present invention includes a cross frame extending in a vehicle body width direction at a front portion of the vehicle body, and the cross panel for supporting a front panel forming a front upper surface of the vehicle body at least in front of the cross frame. A standing panel that is erected on the frame and extends upward from the cross frame, and is attached to the vehicle body so that the front edge can be moved up and down. A hood panel to be formed; and a structure provided on a rear side of the standing panel, and the structure extends from the standing panel to a lower side of the hood panel and is closed. When the hood panel is pushed down, the hood panel is pushed down together with the upright panel extending upward from the cross frame. Bent from the rear side in the central portion.
Preferably, the structure includes a flange extending rearward from an upper end of the standing panel and extending to a lower side of the hood panel, a rear end of the flange, and a vertical center portion of the standing panel. And a connecting member to be connected.
Preferably, the connection member has a plurality of connection arms arranged to be separated from each other in the vehicle body width direction, and the rear end of the flange and the vertical central portion of the standing panel are the plurality of connection arms. It is preferable that the arms are discretely connected in the vehicle body width direction.
Preferably, the standing panel is bent so that the plurality of connection arms are located inside at a height portion where force is input through the plurality of connection arms when the hood panel is pushed down. Good.
Preferably, the cross frame, the standing panel or the front panel is attached to the front end of the closed hood panel, and the standing panel has a front upper side from the cross frame. And a lower panel portion extending upward and an upper panel portion extending upward from the upper edge of the lower panel portion.
In the present invention, the front panel and the cross frame are connected to each other by a standing panel that stands on the cross frame and extends upward from the cross frame. Since the standing panel extends upward from the cross frame, the rigidity of the standing panel can be secured. For example, even when the front end of the hood panel is strongly pressed from above when closing the hood panel, the standing panel is hardly deformed by the vertical input. Therefore, as the rigidity of the front panel supported by the standing panel, it is possible to obtain the one that can suitably cope with normal use and input when opening and closing the hood panel.
Moreover, a structure is provided on the rear side of the standing panel so as to be positioned below the hood panel. The structure extends from the standing panel to the lower side of the hood panel. When the closed hood panel is pushed down, the structure is pushed down together with the hood panel, and the standing panel extending upward from the cross frame is Bend from the rear side at the center in the direction. Therefore, when a human body hits the front panel and the hood panel, the front panel can be easily deformed downward together with the hood panel. There is a possibility that a desired shock absorbing performance can be obtained.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 2, the

As shown in FIG. 2, the upper surface of the

In the present embodiment, the

Therefore, when a human body hits the
As a result, for example, compared to a case where the rear end of the
In the present embodiment, the standing
Therefore, even though the connecting
Further, the buckling method of the standing
Therefore, in the left-right width direction of the
In the present embodiment, the standing
Therefore, the locking
In particular, for example, in order to lock the front end of the
As described above, the standing
The above embodiment is an example of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to this, and various modifications or changes can be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, the standing
The standing
