Description
The present invention relates to a wireless communication apparatus that wirelessly transmits data, and more particularly, to a wireless communication apparatus and a wireless communication system including a detection unit that detects a radio wave radiated from a transmission antenna.
As a system including a wireless communication device that wirelessly transmits data, for example, a video monitoring system that performs monitoring by checking video data captured by a ground-side monitoring camera in a moving body such as a train or a bus is known. . As a specific example, in a system applied to a train, a surveillance camera is installed at or near the station platform, and the surveillance camera video is wirelessly transmitted to the train side by a radio and displayed on a monitor on the train. The drivers inside the train can monitor the outside.
By the way, in the on-vehicle monitor system of
However, in the conventional on-vehicle monitor system described above, it is assumed that proper video transmission is always performed from the ground-side transmission device to the vehicle-side reception device, and video is transmitted from the transmission device. It is not envisaged that an unusual situation will occur.
For example, if the video transmission from the ground side transmission device to the vehicle side reception device is suddenly interrupted for some reason, the vehicle side crew member or driver will directly check the safety of the home directly, Or, an emergency situation occurs in which a crew member or driver on the vehicle side contacts a station member on the ground side (station) and requests to confirm the safety of the home immediately. In addition, there is a problem in that it takes time to recover without knowing whether the cause is on the transmission device side or the reception device side.
Further, in order to confirm whether or not proper video transmission is performed from the transmission antenna of the ground side transmission apparatus, there is a method of measuring the radiation power of the transmission antenna. FIG. 9 is a diagram for explaining a general measurement method when measuring the radiation power of a transmission antenna (for example, a patch array antenna). As shown in FIG. 9, it is a general method to measure the radiation power from the
However, when the radiation power of the
In addition, when the radio wave from the
Further, for example, when the transmitting antenna is a horn antenna, since there is one antenna element, phase disturbance directly leads to deterioration of characteristics.
The present invention has been made in view of such conventional circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to enable accurate and stable detection of the output of a transmission antenna without affecting antenna characteristics.
In order to achieve the above object, a wireless communication apparatus of the present invention has an array antenna that transmits a transmission output distributed to a plurality of antenna elements, and includes one or more adjacent antenna elements.
The detector preferably includes a receiving antenna that receives an output from the antenna element, and a detection circuit that detects a signal based on the power received by the receiving antenna.
Further, the array antenna is a patch array antenna, and the detector is attached to the surface of the patch array antenna so as to cover the one or more antenna elements adjacent to each other that is a detection target of the detector. It is preferable that
Furthermore, the detector is attached so that the antenna element at the end of the patch array antenna is a detection target, and covers only the openings of the one or more adjacent one or more antenna elements that are detection targets. Preferably it is.
In addition, it is preferable that the detector detects an output including or including an output from an antenna element farthest from a power feeding unit to the plurality of antenna elements.
It is preferable to further include an abnormality detection unit that detects an abnormality based on a detection result by the detector, and an alarm output unit that outputs an alarm when the abnormality detection unit detects an abnormality.
The abnormality detection unit preferably compares the voltage value of the signal detected by the detector with a reference voltage value held in advance, and outputs an alarm when a voltage abnormality is detected.
The abnormality detection unit preferably holds a transmission signal, compares the signal content of the signal detected by the detector with the transmission signal, and outputs an alarm when a transmission abnormality is detected.
In order to achieve the above object, a wireless communication apparatus of the present invention is a wireless communication apparatus having an array antenna that transmits a transmission output distributed to a plurality of antenna elements, and is one or more than one adjacent to each other.

[Control configuration of video surveillance system]

[Control Configuration and Operation of Detection Unit 10]

Next, a specific circuit configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 2, in the
Note that the

Next, the detection process in the

[Control Configuration and Operation of Wireless Communication Device (1) 20]
Next, the control configuration of the wireless communication device (1) 20 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing a configuration of the wireless communication device (1) 20 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the external appearance of the transmitting
As shown in FIG. 5, the wireless communication device (1) 20 includes a data input /
Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the
The
Next, the operation of the wireless communication device (1) 20 will be described in detail.
The digital video signal input from the
The
In the wireless communication device (1) 20, when a radio wave is radiated from the

In addition, during the above series of operations, the
In the present invention, only one of the abnormality detection process based on the voltage of the
Here, how to attach the
FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram for explaining how to attach the

When the transmitting
Here, the predetermined distance is a distance in a range where the beam characteristics and gain characteristics of the transmitting
Further, when the radiation direction of the
Furthermore, the
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7A, the

[Operation of video surveillance system]
Next, the operation of the video monitoring system according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.
The boarding / alighting state of the
The above-described operation is the same as that of the conventional video monitoring system. In the video monitoring system of the first embodiment, the
