Description
The present invention relates to a dynamic damper that includes a planetary gear mechanism and suppresses torsional vibration of a rotational drive system such as a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine.
In a drive system of a vehicle equipped with a torque converter, at the time of lockup in which power transmission does not depend on hydraulic pressure, engine rotation fluctuations are directly transmitted to the gear train without passing through the torque converter. Therefore, it is very common to use a spring damper to suppress rotational fluctuation during lock-up. In order to further suppress rotational fluctuation, a so-called dynamic damper is installed in addition to the spring damper. That is, the dynamic damper adds a mass body to a rotating body connected to the power transmission system via another spring, and performs better suppression of rotational vibration at the number of rotations (frequency) intended for vibration absorption. (Patent Document 1).
A dynamic damper having a planetary gear mechanism has also been proposed (
In addition, as a torsional vibration reduction device using a planetary gear mechanism, a planetary gear mechanism is connected to a crankshaft, a ring gear is connected to a fixed part of an engine, and a speed-up sun gear functions as a pendulum type absorber. (Patent Document 3).
In the technique of
The technology of
Further, since the technology of Patent Document 3 does not incorporate an elastic body in the planetary gear mechanism, there is no problem as in
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and the optimum design as a dynamic damper is achieved without affecting the power transmission characteristics, without impairing the intended vibration absorption function, and without accompanying installation restrictions. The goal is to be able to do it.
According to this invention, one rotating element of the planetary gear mechanism is connected to the power transmission shaft so as to receive the rotational driving force, and the rotating elements of the planetary gear mechanism are connected in the rotational direction and from the input side in the rotational power transmission system. It is connected with an elastic body so that it does not directly participate in power transmission to the output side, and the rotation of the free rotating element increased with respect to the rotational speed of the rotational power transmission system is obtained. A dynamic damper is provided, characterized in that an increased inertial mass due to the rotation of the element is obtained.
In order to suppress the rotational fluctuation of the power transmission shaft at the time of lock-up in the torque converter having the lock-up device, the dynamic damper is disposed inside the torque converter, and the lock-up device is turned on when the lock-up device is locked up. A lockup piston that is engaged with an opposing surface via a friction material, and includes a second elastic body in addition to the first elastic body in the dynamic damper, and the second elastic body is a lockup piston. The rotating member on the side and the rotating member on the rotating element side of the planetary gear mechanism in the dynamic damper are connected in the rotational direction.
The dynamic damper of the present invention can also be applied to a centrifugal pendulum type vibration absorber directly provided on a power transmission shaft such as a crankshaft, and is a rotating member on the first rotating element side of the planetary gear mechanism in the dynamic damper. Is fixed to the power transmission shaft, and a centrifugal pendulum is configured on the free rotating element side of the planetary gear mechanism.
In the dynamic damper of the present invention, the elastic body that rotationally connects the constituent elements of the planetary gear does not directly participate in the power transmission in the power transmission system, so the dynamic damper can be freely designed while performing efficient vibration absorption by planetary acceleration. The degree can be greatly increased. In other words, the elastic body arranged in the power transmission system and the elastic body of the dynamic damper have different rigidity and stroke of the elastic body with respect to the target vibration frequency (number of rotations). However, in the dynamic damper of the present invention, Since the elastic body is dedicated for that purpose and is not shared with the power transmission system, it can be optimally designed so as to obtain the intended vibration absorption characteristics as a dynamic damper without affecting the power transmission performance.
In addition, when the dynamic damper of the present invention is applied to a centrifugal pendulum type absorber, it is not necessary to fix one of the rotating elements of the planetary gear mechanism for the rotation of the free rotating element serving as the centrifugal pendulum. There is no need for a fixed part in the vicinity of the mechanism, and the degree of freedom of installation location can be increased.
FIG. 1 shows a cross section along the axis of the torque converter. A

The
The
The
Next, the structure for holding and transmitting the rotational motion of the coil springs 28, 30, 32 as the elastic body of the present invention will be described according to the arrangement order of the springs in FIG. As means for holding the
In FIG. 1, as means for holding each of the plurality of
In FIG. 1, as a means for holding each of the plurality of

Numerical calculation is performed from the above equations of motion (1)-(4), and the calculation result of the transmission rate of the obtained torque fluctuation is shown by line A in FIG. In FIG. 6, the horizontal axis represents frequency and the vertical axis represents torque fluctuation transmission rate. Shows the upper limit of the allowable transmission rate of the torque fluctuation by the line T V, the lower limit frequency of the lock-up in the present invention can be reduced to L F, which can lower the lower limit of the rotational speed for the lock-up It is equivalent to what you can do. Incidentally, (b) of FIG. 5 shows a case where the inertial mass I 0 equivalent to the inertial mass I C + I S + I P ′ in the present invention is replaced. In this case, instead of the above equation (3), the following equation:
(I C + I P '+ × I S ) × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 ) + K C (θ C −θ 2 ) = 0 (3')
However, the frequency characteristic when the numerical calculation is executed is shown by the line B in FIG. 6, and the torque fluctuation suppressing effect by the planetary acceleration in the embodiment of the present invention can be understood. Line C shows the characteristics when the dynamic damper is completely removed. It can be seen that the lower limit frequency for the upper limit line L F of the transmission rate of the allowable torque fluctuation in both the lines B and C increases to L F ′.
NS=(ZS+ZR)/ZS
NP=(ZR−ZP)/ZP
The following is a supplementary explanation of the method for calculating the inertial force by planetary acceleration in the above equation (3). First, as is well known, between the number of teeth and the number of rotations of the components of the
N R + N S × (Z S / Z R ) −N C × ((Z R + Z S ) / Z R ) = 0 (5)
The following relational expression holds. In the embodiment of the present invention, the
N S = (Z S + Z R ) / Z S
And the rotational speed of the
N P = (Z R −Z P ) / Z P
It can be asked. Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the
TC=1×IC×(d2θC/dt2) (6)
TP'=IP’×(d2θC/dt2) (7)
TS=((ZS+ZR)/ZS)×IS×(d2θS/dt2)
d2θS/dt2=((ZS+ZR)/ZS)×(d2θC/dt2)なので
TS=((ZS+ZR)/ZS)2×IC×(d2θC/dt2) (8)
TP=((ZR−ZP)/ZP)×IP×(d2θP/dt2)
d2θP/dt2=((ZR−ZP)/ZP)×(d2θC/dt2)なので
TP=((ZR−ZP)/ZP)2×IP×(d2θC/dt2) (9)
Next, the inertial force (torque) due to the moment of inertia of the carrier is
T C = 1 × I C × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 ) (6)
And the inertial force (torque) due to the revolution of the planetary gear is
T P '= I P ' × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 ) (7)
The inertia force (torque) due to the moment of inertia of the sun gear is
T S = ((Z S + Z R ) / Z S ) × I S × (d 2 θ S / dt 2 )
d 2 θ S / dt 2 = ((Z S + Z R ) / Z S ) × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 )
T S = ((Z S + Z R ) / Z S ) 2 × I C × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 ) (8)
The inertial force (torque) due to the moment of inertia of the planetary gear is
T P = ((Z R −Z P ) / Z P ) × I P × (d 2 θ P / dt 2 )
d 2 θ P / dt 2 = ((Z R −Z P ) / Z P ) × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 )
T P = ((Z R −Z P ) / Z P ) 2 × I P × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 ) (9)
From the above formulas (6), (7), (8), and (9), the terms of the restoring force of the elastic body generated by the rotational difference between the ring gear and the carrier and the inertial force due to the moment of inertia of each of the aforementioned elements are
T C + T P '+ T S + T P
= (I C + I P '+ ((Z S + Z R ) / Z S ) 2 × I S + ((Z R −Z P ) / Z P ) 2 × I P ) × (d 2 θ C / dt 2 ) (Ten)
This is the inertia force increase term due to planetary acceleration in equation (3).
これに対して本発明では直列配置の弾性体K1(第2のスプリング28)とは別に弾性体KC(第1のスプリング30)を設けている。
By the way, FIG. 5 (c) schematically shows the dynamic damper of
Hereinafter, another embodiment of the present invention will be described.

FIG. 12 shows an example using a Ravigneaux type planetary gear mechanism, in which a planetary gear is provided with a large-diameter portion 80-1 and a small-diameter portion 80-2 integrated. The sun gear is divided into a separate large-diameter portion 36-1 and small-diameter portion 36-2, the planetary gear large-diameter portion 80-1 is engaged with the sun-gear small-diameter portion 36-2, and the planetary gear small-diameter portion 80-2 is engaged with the sun-gear small-diameter portion. The planetary gear small-diameter portion 80-2 is engaged with the large-diameter portion 36-1 and connected with the
FIG. 13 shows still another embodiment using a Ravigneaux type planetary gear mechanism. Unlike the embodiment of FIG. 12, the
FIG. 14 shows the application of the present invention to a so-called centrifugal pendulum absorber in which the planetary gear mechanism described in Patent Document 3 is connected to the crankshaft. The
