Description
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a three-dimensional structure of an object to be manufactured by an additive manufacturing method.
In the additive manufacturing method, assuming that the object to be manufactured is formed by stacking a number of layers, a three-dimensional structure of the object to be manufactured is manufactured by sequentially forming and stacking a number of layers. Each layer is formed based on three-dimensional shape data representing the three-dimensional shape of the object to be manufactured. Hereinafter, each layer of the three-dimensional structure is simply referred to as a layer.
By such an additive manufacturing method, for example, a three-dimensional structure is manufactured as a product model, and the appearance and performance of the product are evaluated based on this model.
The additive manufacturing method includes, for example, a powder method, an optical forming method, a sheet stacking method, and a melt deposition method.
In the powder method, the powder material is spread and one layer of the powder material is arranged. A binder is sprayed onto the powder material from the head to solidify the powder material, or the powder material is irradiated with a laser beam to sinter the powder material. Thereby, one layer is formed. Next, the powder material for the next layer is introduced onto this layer, and the powder material is sprayed with a binder or irradiated with a laser beam in the same manner as described above to form the next layer. By repeating this, a number of layers are stacked to produce a three-dimensional structure.
In the optical modeling method, an ultraviolet curable resin that is cured by being irradiated with ultraviolet rays is prepared. One layer of ultraviolet curable resin is irradiated with ultraviolet rays to cure and form one layer. Next, an ultraviolet curable resin for the next layer is introduced onto the layer, and the ultraviolet curable resin is irradiated with ultraviolet rays to cure and form the next layer. By repeating this, a number of layers are stacked to produce a three-dimensional structure.
In the sheet lamination method, a sheet is introduced into a modeling table, and a cut is made in the contour of a portion corresponding to one layer in this sheet. Thereafter, the next sheet is introduced into the modeling table and bonded to the upper surface of the previously introduced sheet, and the outline of the portion corresponding to the next layer is cut in the next sheet. If a large number of layers are formed by repeating this, a three-dimensional structure in which a large number of layers are stacked is obtained by removing unnecessary portions of the sheet along the cuts.
In the melt deposition method, a material (for example, resin) is melted by heat, and the melted material is stretched to a shape and size corresponding to one layer and hardened. Next, a melted material is newly introduced on this layer, and is stretched to a shape and size corresponding to the next layer and hardened. By repeating this, a number of layers are stacked to produce a three-dimensional structure.
When the strength of the material of the three-dimensional structure is low, the three-dimensional structure is easily damaged. For example, in the case where there is an elongated portion in the three-dimensional structure, this portion has a low strength (bending strength) and easily breaks.
By the way, in said patent document 1, a sheet | seat is stuck on the upper surface of the manufactured three-dimensional structure, and the three-dimensional structure is completed. Thereby, since the upper surface of the three-dimensional structure is protected by the sheet, the three-dimensional structure is prevented from being damaged by a person touching the upper surface of the three-dimensional structure. That is, the outer surface strength of the three-dimensional structure is improved.
In addition, conventionally, by applying a surface treatment agent for protection to the surface of the manufactured three-dimensional structure, it is possible to improve the outer surface strength of the three-dimensional structure and protect the surface of the three-dimensional structure. It was done.
However, when a protective sheet or a surface treatment agent is added to the surface of the three-dimensional structure as described above, the surface shape accuracy of the three-dimensional structure may be reduced.
Moreover, the internal strength of a three-dimensional structure cannot be improved by adding a protective sheet or a surface treatment agent to the surface of the three-dimensional structure.
On the other hand, it is also conceivable to form a three-dimensional structure with a high-strength material. However, in this case, a high-strength substance is not suitable for the additive manufacturing method, and it may be difficult to form a three-dimensional structure.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is a method capable of increasing the internal strength of a three-dimensional structure without reducing the surface shape accuracy of the three-dimensional structure even when the three-dimensional structure is not manufactured with a high-strength material. Is to provide.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, according to the present invention, there is provided a manufacturing method of the three-dimensional structure, in which a reinforcing material is provided in a reinforcing hole extending from the opening of the outer surface of the three-dimensional structure.
(A) A three-dimensional structure including the reinforcing holes is manufactured by a layered manufacturing method based on the three-dimensional shape data obtained by adding the shape of the reinforcing holes to the three-dimensional shape of the object to be manufactured. Based on the data of the three-dimensional shape, a three-dimensional structure is manufactured by the additive manufacturing method, and the reinforcing hole is formed in the three-dimensional structure,
(B) Filling the reinforcing hole with a fluid substance different from the material of the three-dimensional structure manufactured in (A),
(C) A method of manufacturing a three-dimensional structure is provided, wherein the fluid substance filled in the reinforcing hole is cured to make the fluid substance a reinforcing material for the three-dimensional structure. The
Specific examples of the present invention are as follows.
The three-dimensional structure includes a linear portion extending linearly,
The reinforcing hole extends along the linear portion inside the linear portion.
A linear portion extending in a linear shape is easily broken. Therefore, a reinforcing hole extending along the linear portion is formed inside the linear portion, and a reinforcing material is provided in the reinforcing hole. Thereby, the intensity | strength of a linear part can be raised.
Before (A), create a corrected three-dimensional shape data representing a shape obtained by adding a reinforcing hole to the three-dimensional shape of the object to be manufactured,
In (A), based on the corrected three-dimensional shape data, a three-dimensional structure is manufactured by the additive manufacturing method.
Thus, by including a reinforcement hole in the three-dimensional shape data used in the layered manufacturing method, it is possible to freely set a portion whose strength is to be increased and to increase the strength of the set portion.
The reinforcing hole extends from the outer surface of the three-dimensional structure to the inside of the three-dimensional structure and branches in the inside.
Since the reinforcing holes are branched in this way, the entire reinforcing hole can be filled with the fluid substance simply by introducing the fluid substance from one opening of the reinforcing hole on the outer surface of the three-dimensional structure. Therefore, the efficiency of the operation | work which fills the whole reinforcement hole with a fluid substance increases by replacing the several reinforcement hole independent from each other with the reinforcement hole branched as mentioned above.
In (B) above,
(B1) On the outer surface of the three-dimensional structure, a fixture is attached to an outer peripheral surface that is a side surface with respect to the opening surface in which the reinforcing hole is open, and the opening surface is covered with a lid unit coupled to the fixture. An internal space is formed by the lid and the opening surface,
(B2) A fluid substance is filled into the reinforcing hole by introducing a fluid substance into the reinforcing hole through the through hole penetrating the lid portion and the internal space.
According to the present invention, a fluid substance is filled in the reinforcing holes formed in the three-dimensional structure, and the fluid substance is cured to make the fluid substance a reinforcing material for the three-dimensional structure. Therefore, unlike the case where a protective sheet or a surface treatment agent is added to the outer surface of the three-dimensional structure, the surface shape accuracy of the three-dimensional structure does not deteriorate. Further, since the reinforcing material is provided in the reinforcing hole, the internal strength of the three-dimensional structure can be increased without manufacturing the three-dimensional structure with a high-strength material.
Thus, even when a three-dimensional structure is not manufactured with a high-strength material, the internal strength of the three-dimensional structure can be increased without reducing the surface shape accuracy of the three-dimensional structure.
A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected to the common part in each figure, and the overlapping description is abbreviate | omitted.
FIG. 1 is a flowchart showing a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional structure according to an embodiment of the present invention. By this method, the three-dimensional structure 1 (see FIG. 2 described later) in which the reinforcing material is provided in the reinforcing
In step S1, three-dimensional shape data (hereinafter referred to as corrected three-dimensional shape data) is created by adding the shape of the reinforcing
In step S2, the three-dimensional structure 1 having the reinforcing

In the example of FIG. 2B, the three-dimensional structure 1 includes a
In the example of FIG. 2C, the reinforcing
In step S <b> 3, a fluid substance having a material different from the material of the three-dimensional structure 1 manufactured in step S <b> 2 is filled in the reinforcing
When the reinforcing
In step S <b> 4, the fluid substance filled in the reinforcing
In one example, the above-described reinforcing material in which the fluid substance is cured has higher elasticity than the three-dimensional structure 1 manufactured in step S3. For example, when the three-dimensional structure 1 is manufactured by the powder method using gypsum powder (
In another example, the reinforcing material has a higher strength than the three-dimensional structure 1 manufactured in step S3. Here, the strength means tensile strength, compressive strength, shear strength, or bending strength.
The production of the three-dimensional structure 1 in step S2 will be described in more detail. In step S2, the three-dimensional structure 1 is manufactured by the above-described powder method, stereolithography method, sheet lamination method, or melt deposition method.

In step S2, the three-dimensional structure 1 manufactured in this way is subjected to a degreasing process or a sintering process as necessary.
Step S3 will be described in detail. In step S <b> 3, the following filling methods 1 to 5 are available as a method of filling the reinforcing
(Filling method 1)
The
(Filling method 2)
When the reinforcing
(Filling method 3)
As shown in FIG. 8A, in the three-dimensional structure 1, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 8C, the
Thereafter, the
In this
The space between the outer
(Filling method 4)
A
