Description
以下、MIMOシステムについて説明する。多入力多出力(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output;MIMO)は、複数の送信アンテナと複数の受信アンテナとを使用する方法で、この方法によりデータの送受信効率を向上させることができる。すなわち、無線通信システムの送信端あるいは受信端で複数のアンテナを使用することによって容量を増大させ、性能を向上させることができる。以下、本文献ではMIMOを「マルチアンテナ」と呼ぶこともできる。
以下、チャネル状態情報(Channel State Information;CSI)報告に関して説明する。現在LTE標準では、チャネル状態情報を用いずに運用される開ループ(open-loop)MIMOとチャネル状態情報に基づいて運用される閉ループ(closed-loop)MIMOとの2種類の送信方式がある。特に、閉ループMIMOでは、MIMOアンテナの多重化利得(multiplexing gain)を得るために、基地局および端末は、それぞれチャネル状態情報に基づいてビームフォーミングを行うことができる。基地局は、チャネル状態情報を端末から得るために、端末にPUCCH(Physical Uplink Control CHannel)またはPUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared CHannel)を割り当てて、下りリンク信号に関するチャネル状態情報(CSI)をフィードバックするように命令する。
以下では、CoMP(Cooperative MultiPoint Transmission/Reception)について説明する。
CoMPスケジューリングのために、端末は、サービングセル(cell)またはサービング送信ポイント(Transmission Point;TP)のチャネル情報だけでなく、CoMPに参加する隣接セルまたは送信ポイントのチャネル情報も基地局にフィードバックしなければならない。したがって、CoMPのために、端末は複数のセルまたは送信ポイントとの干渉環境を反映する複数のCSIプロセスによるCSIをフィードバックする。
コードブックサブセット制限(codebook subset restriction)とは、端末がコードブック内の要素からなるサブセット(部分集合)内でのみプリコーダを選択するように制限することを指す。すなわち、コードブックサブセット制限は、様々なプリコーディング行列を含むコードブックを生成した後、各セルまたは各端末ごとに使用可能なプリコーディング行列を制限することである。コードブックサブセット制限を用いると、無線通信システム全体は大きいサイズのコードブックを有するが、各端末が用いるコードブックは、コードブックのサブセットで構成され、プリコーディングゲイン(precoding gain)を増加させることができる。
以下では、PUCCHを用いた周期的CSIフィードバックにおいて2つ以上のCSIプロセスが衝突する場合、優先順位によって報告するCSIとドロップされるCSIとを決定する方法を説明する。
図20は、本発明の一実施例に適用可能な基地局および端末を例示している。
Claims (8)
- 無線アクセスシステムにおいて端末がチャネル状態情報参照信号(CSI−RS)を受信する方法であって、基地局から、
チャネル状態情報(CSI)プロセスに関する設定を受信するステップと、
前記CSIプロセスと関連している前記CSI−RSを受信するステップと、を有し、
ランクインジケータ(RI)基準CSIプロセスが設定される場合、前記端末は、CSI−RSアンテナポート数が異なる前記CSIプロセスに関する設定および前記RI基準CSIプロセスに関する設定を受信することを期待されない、方法。 - 前記CSIプロセスのRIは、前記RI基準CSIプロセスのRIと同じになるよう設定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記CSIプロセスに関する設定および前記RI基準CSIプロセスに関する設定は、無線リソース制御(RRC)層シグナリングを介して受信される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記CSIは、RI、プリコーディング行列インジケータ(PMI)およびチャネル品質インジケータ(CQI)のうち少なくとも一つを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 無線アクセスシステムにおける端末であって、
無線周波数(RF)モジュールと、
プロセッサと、を有し、
前記プロセッサは、基地局から、
チャネル状態情報(CSI)プロセスに関する設定を受信し、
前記CSIプロセスと関連しているチャネル状態情報参照信号(CSI−RS)を受信するように構成され、
ランクインジケータ(RI)基準CSIプロセスが設定される場合、前記端末は、CSI−RSアンテナポート数が異なる前記CSIプロセスに関する設定および前記RI基準CSIプロセスに関する設定を受信することを期待されない、端末。 - 前記CSIプロセスのRIは、前記RI基準CSIプロセスのRIと同じになるよう設定される、請求項5に記載の端末。
- 前記CSIプロセスに関する設定および前記RI基準CSIプロセスに関する設定は、無線リソース制御(RRC)層シグナリングを介して受信される、請求項5に記載の端末。
- 前記CSIは、RI、プリコーディング行列インジケータ(PMI)およびチャネル品質インジケータ(CQI)のうち少なくとも一つを有する、請求項5に記載の端末。
