Description
The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle. More specifically, the present invention relates to an engine, a first motor, a driving shaft coupled to an axle, an output shaft of the engine, and a planetary gear having three rotating elements connected to a rotating shaft of the first motor. The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle including a second motor having a rotating shaft connected to a drive shaft, and a battery that exchanges electric power with the first motor and the second motor.
Conventionally, this type of hybrid vehicle includes an engine, a first rotating electrical machine, an axle, an output shaft of the engine, and an output shaft of the first rotating electrical machine. Mechanism), a second rotating electrical machine having an output shaft connected to the axle, and a power storage device that exchanges power with the first rotating electrical machine or the second rotating electrical machine, the shift position is in the reverse range, and the slope is the slope threshold value. In the above case, the charge start SOC value and the charge end SOC value are set to lower values than usual, and when the SOC value falls below the charge start SOC value, the engine is started and charging by the first rotating electrical machine is started. There has been proposed one that terminates forced charging when the SOC value rises above the charging end SOC value (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this hybrid vehicle, the engine start time can be delayed by such control, and the driving force distribution time to the axle by engine start can be delayed to increase the traveling distance of the reverse travel on the slope.
In such a hybrid vehicle, when traveling backward while driving the engine, in a place where the atmospheric pressure is low, such as a high altitude, the density of the intake air of the engine decreases, the engine torque decreases, the output power decreases, and the SOC of the battery The value tends to decrease. In particular, when climbing in reverse travel at a low atmospheric pressure, the power (power consumption) of the second rotating electrical machine increases and the SOC value of the battery is more likely to decrease. For this reason, it is required to suppress an excessive decrease in the SOC value of the battery and to further improve the climbing performance in reverse travel (increase the climbable distance).
The main purpose of the hybrid vehicle of the present invention is to further improve the climbing performance of reverse traveling in a place where the atmospheric pressure is low.

In the hybrid vehicle of the present invention, a first upper limit rotational speed that is the upper limit rotational speed of the engine based on the performance of the planetary gear pinion gear, a second upper limit rotational speed that is the upper limit rotational speed of the engine based on the performance of the first motor, In the case of controlling the engine so that the engine is operated within the range, the first upper limit rotation speed and / or the second upper limit rotation speed is increased as the atmospheric pressure is lower in a range equal to or higher than the value during forward travel. Set the trend to be. As a result, when the vehicle travels backward while operating the engine in a place where the atmospheric pressure is low, the engine speed can be increased, and a decrease in the output power of the engine can be suppressed. As a result, it is possible to suppress an excessive decrease in the storage ratio of the battery when climbing in reverse while driving the engine in a place where the atmospheric pressure is low, and to further improve the climbing performance (increase the climbable distance). )be able to.

During travel in the HV travel mode, the HVECU 70 sets the required torque Tr * required for travel based on the accelerator opening Acc and the vehicle speed V, and sets the rotational speed Nr ( For example, the traveling power Pdrv * required for traveling is calculated by multiplying the rotational speed Nm2 of the motor MG2 and the rotational speed obtained by multiplying the vehicle speed V by a conversion factor), and the
Then, the target engine speed Ne * and the target torque Te * of the
Next, the torque command Tm1 * of the motor MG1 is set by the rotational speed feedback control so that the rotational speed Ne of the
Next, when the
When setting the allowable upper and lower limit rotational speeds Nemax and Nemin of the
Here, the upper and lower limit rotation speeds Nemax (mg1) and Nemin (mg1) of the
Further, the lower limit rotational speed Nemin (pin) of the
Nemin(pin)=Nm2+γ・Npinmin (3) Nemin (pin) = Nm2 + γ ・ Npinmin (3)
Further, as shown in the pinion-induced upper limit rotational speed setting process in FIG. 2, the upper limit rotational speed Nemax (pin) of the
Nemax(pin)=Nm2+γ・Npinmax (4)
Nemax(pin)=(Nm2+γ・Npinmax)・α (5)
Nemax (pin) = Nm2 + γ ・ Npinmax (4)
Thus, when the upper and lower limit rotational speeds Nemax (mg1) and Nemin (mg1) of the
Nemax=min(Nemax(mg1),Nemax(pin),Nemax(eg)) (6)
Nemin=max(Nemin(mg1),Nemin(pin),0) (7)
Nemax = min (Nemax (mg1), Nemax (pin), Nemax (eg)) (6)
Nemin = max (Nemin (mg1), Nemin (pin), 0) (7)
Here, the reason why the upper limit rotation speed Nemax (pin) of the
