Claims (1)
- 燃焼室に圧縮空気を送入する始動弁が設けられ、冷却水通路が形成されるシリンダヘッドを備えるエンジンであって、
前記始動弁は、スリーブに嵌通した状態でシリンダの軸方向と平行に配置され、
前記冷却水通路の壁面の一部は、前記スリーブの外周側面によって形成され、
前記スリーブは、前記燃焼室から上方に向かって、前記シリンダヘッドに形成される始動弁差込孔に嵌通され、
前記始動弁差込孔には、前記始動弁と蓋部材との間に支持部材が配置され、
前記支持部材には、制御空気通路から供給される制御空気を支持部材の内部に送り込む供給孔が形成されているとともに、
前記シリンダヘッドには、前記始動弁差込孔の軸方向と直交する始動空気通路が形成され、
前記スリーブの先端側端面が前記始動空気通路の壁面の一部とされ、前記スリーブの先端側端面によって前記始動空気通路の壁面の一部が構成されることにより、前記始動空気通路の壁面の一部は、前記スリーブの先端側端面によって形成され、
前記スリーブの外周側面には、前記始動弁差込孔の段部に係合する段部が形成されている
