Description
本出願は、2012年1月31日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/592,659号の利益を主張するものであり、この仮出願はその全体が本明細書に援用されている。
本主題は、ポリプロピレン系フィルム、およびかかるフィルムから作成されるラベルに関する。より詳細には、本主題は、インパクトプロピレンポリマーを含むポリプロピレン系組成物に関し、ならびに、それらから作成されるフィルムおよびラベルであって、インク印刷可能である、ダイカット可能である、および/または耐擦り傷性であるフィルムおよびラベルに関する。
一連の試験を行って、幾つかの好ましい実施形態に係るフィルム集合体の様々な性質および特性を評価した。具体的には、「チッカー(ticker)」強度(すなわち、ダイカット摩擦エネルギー)、ヘーズ(haze)、透明度、光沢、剛性または曲げ耐性、弾性率、および密度に関する特性を評価した。
Claims (23)
- プリント層およびコア層を含むと共に、インパクトコポリマーポリプロピレン(ICP)と、少なくとも一種の他の高分子材料とのブレンドを含む、軸方向に延伸されたラベルフェイスストックであって、
前記少なくとも一種の他の高分子材料が、ホモポリマーポリプロピレン(HPP)、ランダムコポリマーポリプロピレン(RCP)、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択され、
前記コア層が、前記ICPのブレンドからなり、
当該ラベルフェイスストックが一軸延伸されている、ことを特徴とするラベルフェイスストック。 - 前記ICPが、ASTM D256によって判定して、ハイインパクト、ミディアムインパクトおよびローインパクトのうちの一つである、請求項1に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記ICPが、ゴム成分の抽出によって判定して、ハイインパクト、ミディアムインパクトおよびローインパクトのうちの一つである、請求項1に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記ICPが、重合反応器に添加されるエチレン含量によって判定して、ハイインパクト、ミディアムインパクトおよびローインパクトのうちの一つである、請求項1に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記プリント層が、前記ICPを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記プリント層が、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、他のポリオレフィン、(メタ)アクリレート、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー、アイオノマー、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される少なくとも一種のポリマーを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記プリント層が、成核剤、酸化防止剤、加工助剤、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される少なくとも一種の添加剤を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 当該ラベルフェイスストックの前記コア層が、ICPおよびHPPからなる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 当該ラベルフェイスストックの前記コア層が、ICPおよびRCPからなる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 基材としての、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の軸方向に延伸されたラベルフェイスストック、および、
接着剤の層
を備えた、ラベル集合体。 - 容器にラベルを貼り付ける方法であって、
請求項10に記載のラベル集合体を用意する工程、並びに、
前記ラベル集合体の前記接着剤の層を前記容器と接触させる工程、
を備えてなる方法。 - 前記接着剤が、感圧接着剤である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ラベル組立体を加熱し、それによって前記軸方向に延伸された基材の収縮を誘発する工程、を更に備えてなる、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 前記プリント層が、前記ICPのブレンドからなる、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記プリント層が、ICP、RCP、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される高分子材料を含んでなる、請求項1〜9,14のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記プリント層が、ホモポリマーポリプロピレン(HPP)、メタロセン触媒直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(mPE)、および直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)を含んでなる、請求項1〜9,14,15のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記プリント層が、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)およびアルファ−オレフィン類を含んでなる、請求項1〜9,14〜16のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 当該ラベルフェイスストックが、前記コア層の下にある接着スキン層を更に含んでなる、請求項1〜9,14〜17のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記接着スキン層は、
メタロセン触媒直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(mPE)、
直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、
インパクトコポリマーポリプロピレン(ICP)、
ホモポリマーポリプロピレン(HPP)、
アルファ−オレフィン類、
エチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)、および
これらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種の高分子を含んでなる、請求項18に記載のラベルフェイスストック。 - 前記接着スキン層は、ホモポリマーポリプロピレン(HPP)、メタロセン触媒直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(mPE)、および直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、を含んでなる、請求項18又は19に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 前記接着スキン層は、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)およびアルファ−オレフィン類を含んでなる、請求項18又は19に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 当該ラベルフェイスストックは、45%よりも大きな透明度を有する、請求項1〜9,14〜21のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
- 当該ラベルフェイスストックは、60g.u.よりも大きな60°光沢値を有する、請求項1〜9,14〜22のいずれか一項に記載のラベルフェイスストック。
