Description
Claims (16)
- 患者における流体の流れを調整するための制御システムであって、
体液を受け入れるための入口ポート及び前記受け入れた体液を放出するための出口ポートを有する流体室と、
前記流体室と分離され、前記流体室から封止されている圧力室と、
前記流体室中の前記体液の第1の圧力及び前記第1の圧力と対向する第2の圧力を検知するための圧力要素であって、前記圧力室は、前記第2の圧力が、前記患者の体内の圧力の相違と無関係な絶対圧力基準であるように構成される、圧力要素と、
前記第1の圧力と前記絶対圧力基準との比較に基づき前記出口ポートから放出された流体の量を調整するための弁部材であって、前記弁部材が前記出口ポートを開放するときに、前記絶対圧力基準上の背圧の影響を減少させるために乾燥容積部に接続された通気口を、前記圧力室が有する弁部材と、
を備える、患者における流体の流れを調整するための制御システム。 - 前記弁部材が前記出口ポートを閉鎖するために通常は閉鎖されており、前記圧力要素により、前記第1の圧力が前記第2の圧力に対する閾値に達したときに前記入口ポートと前記出口ポートとの圧力差とは関係なく前記弁部材が前記出口ポートを開放する、請求項1に記載の制御システム。
- 前記第1の圧力が、前記圧力要素の第1の面に面する前記流体室中の体液の体積変化に対応し、前記第2の圧力が、前記圧力要素の前記第1の面に対向する第2の面に面する背圧に対応する、請求項1に記載の制御システム。
- 前記制御システムが、前記圧力要素の圧力基準を調節するための調節可能部材を備え、前記調節可能部材が、前記調節可能部材の特性を変更することによって前記第2の圧力を選択的に調節するように前記圧力要素に対して選択的に制御可能である、請求項3に記載の制御システム。
- 前記調節可能部材が、前記調節可能部材と前記圧力要素との間に配置された圧縮部材を含み、前記特性の変更は前記圧縮部材の圧縮の変化と対応する、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- 前記調節可能部材が、前記圧力要素と前記調節可能部材との間にある容積を有するように前記圧力室を画定するように前記圧力要素から離間されており、前記圧力要素が、前記弁が開放されたときに前記弁が閉鎖されたときと比較して前記圧力室の容積が変更されるように前記弁を開放及び閉鎖するときに、前記調節可能部材に対して移動する、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- 前記特性が、熱、制御信号及び圧縮のうちの1つ又は複数によって調節される、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- 前記弁が開放及び/又は閉鎖されたときに前記圧力室の圧力を開放するための通気口部材をさらに備える、請求項6に記載の制御システム。
- 前記圧力要素の位置を検知するための位置センサと、前記出口ポートから放出された流体の圧力及び/又は流量を前記圧力要素の前記位置に基づいて算出するための制御ユニットとをさらに備える、請求項6に記載の制御システム。
- 前記位置センサが、前記調節可能部材の位置及び/又は温度を検知し、前記制御ユニットが、前記調節可能部材の前記位置及び/又は前記温度に基づいて前記第2の圧力を算出する、請求項9に記載の制御システム。
- 前記弁を開放又は閉鎖するための制御信号を生成するように、前記調節可能部材及び/又は前記圧力要素の位置を検知するための位置センサをさらに備える、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- 外部環境の圧力に基づいて前記第1の圧力と前記第2の圧力との比較を較正するための較正ユニットをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の制御システム。
- 前記流体室及び前記調節可能部材が、ダイヤフラム、ピストン及びベローズのうちの1つ又は複数によって隔てられる、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- 患者における体液の流れを調整するためのシャント制御システムであって、
流体室であって、体液を受け入れるための入口ポート及び前記受け入れた体液を前記流体室から排出するための出口ポートを有する流体室と、
前記流体室中の前記体液の第1の圧力及び前記第1の圧力と対向する第2の圧力を検知するための圧力要素であって、前記圧力室は、前記第2の圧力が、前記患者の体内の圧力の相違と無関係な絶対圧力基準を決定するように構成される、圧力要素と、
前記流体室と分離され、前記流体室から封止されている圧力室と、
前記圧力要素に接続された弁部材であって、前記圧力要素が前記弁部材を移動させて、前記第1の圧力と前記絶対圧力基準との比較に基づいて前記出口ポートから放出された体液の量を調整する、弁部材と、を有し
前記圧力室は、前記圧力要素が前記弁部材を移動させたときに、前記絶対圧力基準上の背圧の影響を減少させるために乾燥容積部に接続された通気口を、前記圧力室が有する、
患者における体液の流れを調整するためのシャント制御システム。 - 前記圧力要素と、前記弁部材の移動は、前記出口ポートを閉じる弁部材によって制限される、請求項14に記載の患者における体液の流れを調整するためのシャント制御システム。
- 前記弁部材は、接続部材によって、前記圧力要素から隔てられている、請求項14に記記載の患者における体液の流れを調整するためのシャント制御システム。
