前記触媒の成分を含むゲルを用意し、
次いで前記排気流通路の開放端に対面する位置に前記ゲルを配置し、次いで押し込み具により前記ゲルを、前記開放端を介し前記排気流通路内に押し込んで充填し、それにより前記ゲルを前記隔壁に適用し、
次いで前記パティキュレートフィルタを乾燥させ、それにより前記隔壁の表面上又は細孔内に前記触媒を担持させるようにした、

次いで前記パティキュレートフィルタを乾燥させ、それにより前記隔壁の表面上又は細孔内に前記触媒を担持させるようにした、

- 前記別のゲルが前記触媒とは異なる別の触媒の成分を含んでいる、請求項2,5,6,7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記別のゲルが前記触媒の成分を含んでいない、請求項2,5,6,7,8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒の成分を含むスラリを用意し、前記スラリをゲル化し、それにより前記ゲルを用意する、請求項1から9までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
