上記した実施例においては、空隙含有層18を多孔質材料により構成する場合を例示したが、これに限定されるものではない。以下に空隙含有層18を実現する他の構成例をいくつか示す。

Claims (4)
- 基板と、
前記基板上に形成される第1電極と、
前記第1電極上に形成される有機機能層と、
前記有機機能層上に形成され、金属層からなる第2電極と、
前記第2電極上に形成され、複数の空隙を有する空隙含有層と、を含み、
前記空隙含有層は、塗布膜であり、前記金属層を構成する物質のうち、少なくとも一部が、前記空隙含有層に含まれていることを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンスデバイス。 - 前記第1電極、前記有機機能層、前記第2電極及び空隙含有層を含む積層構造体を被膜する封止層を更に有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンスデバイス。
- 前記第2電極と前記空隙含有層との間に位置し、前記第2電極を構成する金属の融点より低い温度で気化するバッファ層をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンスデバイス。
- 前記バッファ層は前記封止層と同一の無機材料からなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンスデバイス。
