また、請求項8記載のプログラムは、コンピュータに、複数のフレームを有する動画像の再生を制御する方法を実行させるプログラムであって、前記方法は、再生された動画像上の2点を同時に指定し、指定した前記2点の距離を変化させるユーザの操作に応答して、前記動画像の再生中に被写体を含む前記2点を対角点とする領域が選択されたことを検知するステップと、前記フレームごとに被写体のサイズを検出するステップと、前記選択された領域のサイズと対応するサイズの被写体を含むフレームを検索するステップと、前記検索されたフレームを再生するステップを備えることを特徴とする。

図2に示す動画像に対して、被写体を検出すると、被写体検出部110はScene0が記録される際に被写体Aを検出する。そして、被写体検出部110は、制御部102の制御下で被写体Aの位置情報(x0,y0)、サイズ情報(w0,h0)、および再生時間(つまり、順番)00:00を被写体再生軌跡データ(単に被写体データともいう)Aとして記録媒体109に格納する。ここで、被写体の位置情報は、検出された被写体の領域の中心の座標または検出された被写体の領域の最左上点の座標などであり、予め定義されているものとする。また、サイズ情報は検出された被写体の領域を画成する矩形の幅と高さとする。

Claims (8)
- 複数のフレームを有する動画像の再生を制御する再生制御装置であって、
動画像の再生を制御する再生制御手段と、
再生された動画像上の2点を同時に指定し、指定した前記2点の距離を変化させるユーザの操作に応答して、前記動画像の再生中に被写体を含む前記2点を対角点とする領域が選択されたことを検知する選択検知手段と、
前記フレームごとに被写体のサイズを検出する被写体検出手段と、
前記選択された領域のサイズと対応するサイズの被写体を含むフレームを検索する検索手段と、を備え、
前記再生制御手段は、前記検索されたフレームを再生することを特徴とする再生制御装置。 - 前記2点の距離の変化にしたがって、前記検索手段は前記選択された領域の変化後のサイズと対応するサイズの被写体を含むフレームを検索し、
前記再生制御手段は、前記検索されたフレームを再生する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の再生制御装置。 - 前記再生された動画像上の2点が同時に指定されると、前記再生制御手段は、前記指定された2点を対角点とする領域に含まれる被写体のサイズの最大および最小のうち少なくとも一方と対応する大きさの枠を前記再生された動画像に重畳して表示することを特徴とする請求項1記載の再生制御装置。
- 前記被写体検出手段はさらに、前記被写体の位置も検出し、
前記再生制御手段は、前記検出されたサイズおよび位置のうち少なくとも一方の変化量に応じて、前記被写体の移動軌跡または前記被写体を特定する枠を選択的に前記再生された動画像に重畳して表示することを特徴とする請求項1記載の再生制御装置。 - 前記再生制御手段は、前記動画像を前記検索されたフレームから頭出し再生することを特徴とする請求項1記載の再生制御装置。
- 複数のフレームを有する動画像の再生を制御する方法であって、
再生された動画像上の2点を同時に指定し、指定した前記2点の距離を変化させるユーザの操作に応答して、前記動画像の再生中に被写体を含む前記2点を対角点とする領域が選択されたことを検知するステップと、
前記フレームごとに被写体のサイズを検出するステップと、
前記選択された領域のサイズと対応するサイズの被写体を含むフレームを検索するステップと、
前記検索されたフレームを再生するステップを備えることを特徴とする再生制御方法。 - 複数のフレームを有する動画像の再生を制御する方法をコンピュータに実行させる制御プログラムを格納したコンピュータで読み取り可能な記憶媒体であって、
前記方法は、
再生された動画像上の2点を同時に指定し、指定した前記2点の距離を変化させるユーザの操作に応答して、前記動画像の再生中に被写体を含む前記2点を対角点とする領域が選択されたことを検知するステップと、
前記フレームごとに被写体のサイズを検出するステップと、
前記選択された領域のサイズと対応するサイズの被写体を含むフレームを検索するステップと、
前記検索されたフレームを再生するステップを備えることを特徴とする記憶媒体。 - コンピュータに、複数のフレームを有する動画像の再生を制御する方法を実行させるプログラムであって、
前記方法は、
再生された動画像上の2点を同時に指定し、指定した前記2点の距離を変化させるユーザの操作に応答して、前記動画像の再生中に被写体を含む前記2点を対角点とする領域が選択されたことを検知するステップと、
前記フレームごとに被写体のサイズを検出するステップと、
前記選択された領域のサイズと対応するサイズの被写体を含むフレームを検索するステップと、
前記検索されたフレームを再生するステップを備えることを特徴とするプログラム。
