Claims (7)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられて、排気中の粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタと、
前記フィルタの入口温度を検出する入口温度センサと、
前記フィルタの出口温度を検出する出口温度センサと、
前記フィルタに堆積した粒子状物質を燃焼除去する強制再生を実行可能なフィルタ再生手段と、
前記フィルタの静電容量を検出する静電容量検出手段と、
前記静電容量検出手段で検出される静電容量に基づいて、前記フィルタに捕集された粒子状物質及びアッシュ成分の合計堆積量を推定する合計堆積量推定手段と、
前記フィルタ再生手段による強制再生が終了した時に、前記合計堆積量推定手段で推定され、前記入口温度センサにより検出された前記入口温度と前記出口温度センサにより検出された前記出口温度との平均温度に基づいて補正された合計堆積量をアッシュ堆積量として演算するアッシュ堆積量演算手段と、を備える
ことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記合計堆積量推定手段で推定される合計堆積量から、前記アッシュ堆積量演算手段で演算されたアッシュ堆積量を減算することで、前記フィルタに捕集される粒子状物質の堆積量を演算するPM堆積量演算手段をさらに備え、
前記フィルタ再生手段は、前記PM堆積量演算手段で演算される粒子状物質の堆積量が、前記フィルタに捕集可能な上限閾値に達すると、強制再生を実行する
請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 前記アッシュ堆積量演算手段で演算されるアッシュ堆積量が、前記内燃機関の許容排圧に影響を与える上限閾値に達すると、前記フィルタに堆積したアッシュを清掃するメンテナンスを必要と判定する清掃要求判定手段をさらに備える
請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 静電容量検出手段は、前記フィルタ内に少なくとも一個以上の隔壁を挟んで対向配置されて、コンデンサを形成する少なくとも一対の電極を含む
請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられて、排気中の粒子状物質を捕集する第1のフィルタと、
前記第1のフィルタよりも排気上流側及び下流側の前記排気通路を接続して、前記第1のフィルタを迂回するバイパス通路と、
前記バイパス通路に設けられて、当該バイパス通路を流れる排気中の粒子状物質を捕集する第2のフィルタと、
前記バイパス通路における前記第2のフィルタより上流側の位置に設けられ、前記バイパス通路を流れる排気の流量を調整するオリフィスと、
前記第2のフィルタ内に少なくとも一個以上の隔壁を挟んで対向配置されて、コンデンサを形成する少なくとも一対の電極を含み、前記第2のフィルタの静電容量を検出する静電容量検出手段と、
前記第2のフィルタに堆積した粒子状物質を燃焼除去する強制再生を実行可能なフィルタ再生手段と、
前記静電容量検出手段で検出される静電容量に基づいて、前記第2のフィルタに捕集された粒子状物質及びアッシュ成分の合計堆積量を推定する合計堆積量推定手段と、
前記フィルタ再生手段による強制再生が終了した時に、前記合計堆積量推定手段で推定された合計堆積量をアッシュ堆積量として演算するアッシュ堆積量演算手段と、を備える
ことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記第2のフィルタの強制再生を実行する際は、前記一対の電極をヒータとして機能させる
請求項5に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられて、排気中の粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタと、
前記フィルタに堆積した粒子状物質を燃焼除去する強制再生を実行可能なフィルタ再生手段と、
前記フィルタの静電容量を検出する静電容量検出手段と、
前記静電容量検出手段で検出される静電容量に基づいて、前記フィルタに捕集された粒子状物質及びアッシュ成分の合計堆積量を推定する合計堆積量推定手段と、
前記フィルタ再生手段による強制再生が終了した時に、前記合計堆積量推定手段で推定された合計堆積量をアッシュ堆積量として演算するアッシュ堆積量演算手段と、
前回の強制再生の終了時におけるアッシュ堆積量に対する今回の強制再生の終了時におけるアッシュ堆積量の増加率を演算し、前記増加率が異常を示す閾値を超えた場合、故障が発生したと判定する故障判定手段と、を備える
ことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
