影響評価工程は、高炉スラグ細骨材の粒度がモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物を成形してなる成形品の凍結融解抵抗性に与える影響を、あらかじめ所定の凍結融解試験により評価するものである。 In the influence evaluation process, the influence of the particle size of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate on the freeze-thaw resistance of a molded product formed by molding a mortar or concrete composition is evaluated in advance by a predetermined freeze-thaw test.
As the freeze-thaw test, for example, a freeze-thaw test based on the method A described in JIS A 1148: 2010 for a specimen made of a composition for mortar or concrete, or a test using a small piece of mortar as shown in Non-Patent Document 2. Can be used. In this case, as an index indicating the freeze-thaw resistance, for example, a mass change rate in a predetermined freeze-thaw cycle may be used. In the above-described influence evaluation step, the influence of the particle size of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate on the freeze-thaw resistance of the molded product may be evaluated by such an index.
また、上記の凍結融解試験においては、供試体を浸漬させる溶液に塩水(例えば、質量パーセント濃度で10%の塩化ナトリウム水溶液)を用いてもよい。一般的には、塩水を用いて凍結融解試験を行った方が、真水で行うよりも過酷な条件下での試験となる。 In the above freeze-thaw test, salt water (for example, a 10% sodium chloride aqueous solution in mass percent concentration) may be used as a solution in which the specimen is immersed. In general, a freeze-thaw test using salt water is a test under severer conditions than that using fresh water.
粒度調整工程は、上記の影響評価工程で評価した結果に基づいて、高炉スラグ細骨材の粒度を所定の凍結融解抵抗性に対応する粒度に調整するものである。粒度の調整方法としては、粉砕または分級の少なくとも一方を用いることができる。 In the particle size adjustment step, the particle size of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate is adjusted to a particle size corresponding to a predetermined freeze-thaw resistance, based on the result of the evaluation in the influence evaluation step. As a method for adjusting the particle size, at least one of pulverization and classification can be used.
混練工程は、上記の粒度調整工程で粒度を調整した高炉スラグ細骨材を含む細骨材と、セメントを含む結合材と、水とを混練するものである。この混練工程によってモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物が得られることになる。 In the kneading step, the fine aggregate containing the blast furnace slag fine aggregate whose particle size is adjusted in the particle size adjusting step, the binder containing cement, and water are kneaded. By this kneading step, a mortar or concrete composition is obtained.
高炉スラグは、高炉で銑鉄を製造する際に副生されるものであり、その主成分はCaO、SiO2、Al2O3、MgOである。この高炉スラグは、高炉スラグ細骨材の形態で用いることができる。 The blast furnace slag is by-produced when producing pig iron in the blast furnace, and its main components are CaO, SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , and MgO. This blast furnace slag can be used in the form of blast furnace slag fine aggregate.
The blast furnace slag fine aggregate is preferably an amorphous blast furnace slag fine aggregate. As the amorphous blast furnace slag fine aggregate, for example, blast furnace granulated slag obtained by quenching blast furnace slag with water and lightly crushed and added with an anti-caking agent can be used. The temperature of the molten blast furnace slag immediately before being rapidly cooled in the production of granulated blast furnace slag is 1400 ° C to 1500 ° C. By rapid cooling, the crystal is solidified without any atomic arrangement on the crystal and is glassy (non-crystalline) It becomes. The quality of blast furnace slag fine aggregate is defined in JIS A 5011-1.
また、本発明で用いられるセメントとしては、例えば、普通ポルトランドセメント、早強ポルトランドセメント、超早強ポルトランドセメント、中庸熱ポルトランドセメント、低熱ポルトランドセメント等が挙げられる。 Examples of the cement used in the present invention include ordinary Portland cement, early-strength Portland cement, super-early-strength Portland cement, moderately hot Portland cement, and low heat Portland cement.
本発明のモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物は、高炉スラグ細骨材を含む細骨材と、セメントを含む結合材と、水とを含有するものであるが、細骨材(S)に対する高炉スラグ細骨材(BFS)の質量比(BFS/S)は0.6〜1.0とするのが好ましい。なお、細骨材としては、高炉スラグ細骨材に加えて例えば砂岩砕砂などの一般的な細骨材を用いることができる。 The composition for mortar or concrete of the present invention contains a fine aggregate containing a blast furnace slag fine aggregate, a binder containing a cement, and water. The mass ratio (BFS / S) of the aggregate (BFS) is preferably 0.6 to 1.0. As the fine aggregate, in addition to the blast furnace slag fine aggregate, for example, a general fine aggregate such as sandstone crushed sand can be used.
The concrete composition of the present invention usually further comprises coarse aggregate, and the concrete composition is cured to obtain concrete. As the coarse aggregate, for example, a general coarse aggregate such as sandstone crushed stone can be used. Here, the amount (W) of water used in the concrete composition is that the mass ratio (W / B) of water (W) to the binder (B) is 0.25 to 0.40, that is, the binding. It is preferable that water (W) is 25-40 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of material (B). Moreover, as a usage-amount of the coarse aggregate in the composition for concrete, it is preferable that a coarse aggregate is 100-500 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of binder (B). The concrete composition of the present invention may further contain other components as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired.
本発明によれば、使用する高炉スラグ細骨材の粒度を調整することで、モルタルまたはコンクリートに所望の凍結融解抵抗性を付与することができる。このため、モルタルまたはコンクリートの凍結融解抵抗性に係る品質管理が可能となる。 According to the present invention, desired freeze-thaw resistance can be imparted to mortar or concrete by adjusting the particle size of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate to be used. For this reason, quality control concerning freeze-thaw resistance of mortar or concrete is possible.
本発明のモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物の製造方法は、凍害を抑制する効果の高い凍結融解抵抗性に優れたモルタルまたはコンクリートを得ることが可能である。したがって、本発明のモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物は、耐凍害性が要求される寒冷地や塩害環境下のコンクリート構造物の材料として有効である。 The method for producing a mortar or concrete composition of the present invention can provide mortar or concrete having a high effect of suppressing frost damage and excellent in freeze-thaw resistance. Therefore, the mortar or concrete composition of the present invention is effective as a material for a concrete structure in a cold district or a salt damage environment where frost resistance is required.
The mortar or concrete composition of the present invention is also excellent in resistance to salt damage. Therefore, it is particularly effective for a place where frost damage and salt damage can occur in combination, such as construction of a building that requires salt damage resistance and a highway in a mountainous area where a snow melting agent is sprayed in winter. In addition to these uses, for example, it is suitably used at sites where frost and salt damage resistance of coastal structures, marine structures, waterway structures, road structures, retaining wall structures in cold regions is required. . At this time, the mortar or concrete composition produced according to the present invention may be molded and applied as a molded product such as a precast concrete product.
また、本発明に係る成形品の製造方法は、上述したモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物の製造方法で製造したモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物を型枠などに打ち込んで成形し、所定の養生期間経過後に脱型することで、モルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物を成形してなる成形品を製造するものである。 In addition, the method for producing a molded product according to the present invention includes molding the mortar or concrete composition produced by the above-described method for producing a mortar or concrete composition into a mold or the like, and removing the mold after a predetermined curing period. By molding, a molded product formed by molding a composition for mortar or concrete is produced.
また、本発明に係る品質管理方法は、上述した成形品の製造方法で製造される成形品の凍結融解抵抗性が所定値以上となるように前記高炉スラグ細骨材の粒度を調整して成形品の凍結融解抵抗性に係る品質を管理するものである。 Further, the quality control method according to the present invention adjusts the particle size of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate so that the freeze-thaw resistance of the molded product manufactured by the above-described molded product manufacturing method is a predetermined value or more. It manages the quality related to the freeze-thaw resistance of products.
<変形例>
次に、本発明の変形例について説明する。
上記の実施の形態のようにしてモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物を製造する代わりに、次のような製造方法を採用することもできる。
<Modification>
Next, a modified example of the present invention will be described.
Instead of producing a mortar or concrete composition as in the above embodiment, the following production method can be employed.
すなわち、第1の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材を含む細骨材と、セメントを含む結合材と、水とを含有するモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物を成形してなる成形品と同等の凍結融解抵抗性を有する成形品に対応するモルタルまたはコンクリート用組成物を、前記高炉スラグ細骨材の代わりに第2の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材を用いて製造するのである。 That is, freezing equivalent to a molded article formed by molding a mortar or concrete composition containing a fine aggregate containing a blast furnace slag fine aggregate having a first particle size distribution, a binder containing cement, and water. A mortar or concrete composition corresponding to a molded article having melting resistance is produced using a blast furnace slag fine aggregate having a second particle size distribution instead of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate.
In this case, a blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the second particle size distribution is adjusted to a first particle size distribution, a particle size adjusting step, a fine aggregate containing the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the adjusted particle size, and cement. And a kneading step of kneading the binder and water. In this way, using a blast furnace slag fine aggregate having a second particle size distribution, a molded article having freeze-thaw resistance equivalent to a molded article made of a blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the first particle size distribution is used. Can be obtained.
ここで、第1の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材と第2の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材は、異なる工場で製造されたものであってもよい。また、第1の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材が、第2の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材の粒度を調整したものであってもよい。なお、第1の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材と第2の粒度分布を有する高炉スラグ細骨材は、結晶化率が略同一であることが好ましい。 Here, the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the first particle size distribution and the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the second particle size distribution may be manufactured in different factories. Further, the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the first particle size distribution may be adjusted in particle size of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the second particle size distribution. The blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the first particle size distribution and the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having the second particle size distribution preferably have substantially the same crystallization rate.
As a specific example of this modification, a blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by A to D factories described in an experiment described later will be described as an example. It is assumed that the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A without adjusting the particle size has the second particle size distribution, and the coarse particle ratio of 1.50 corresponds to the first particle size distribution. When the particle size distribution of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by the A factory is adjusted to a coarse particle ratio of 1.50, as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 15, high freeze-thaw resistance equivalent to that of a molded article made of a blast furnace slag fine aggregate with a coarse particle ratio of 1.50 is exhibited. Similar results are obtained for the BD factory. The same result is obtained when another coarse particle ratio is set to the first particle size distribution instead of the coarse particle ratio 1.50 (see FIGS. 13 and 14).
<Verification of effects of the present invention>
Next, the effect of this invention is demonstrated, referring FIGS. 1-22. As described above, some of the inventors measured the mass decrease of the concrete during the freeze-thaw test according to JIS A 1148: 2010, particularly regarding the scaling of the concrete among the deterioration phenomenon due to the freeze-thaw action. The effect of the quality of blast furnace slag fine aggregate on the improvement effect on scaling was examined by the test using mortar pieces as shown. As a result, the effect on scaling varies depending on the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufacturing plant, and the finer grain size blast furnace slag fine aggregate is more effective in suppressing scaling, and the coarser particle size Even if the blast furnace slag fine aggregate was finely pulverized, it became clear that it had the same effect as the fine granulated blast furnace slag fine aggregate divided by the sieve. Below, the experiment that has led to this finding will be described.

As the blast furnace slag fine aggregate, those manufactured in four different factories (A factory, B factory, C factory, and D factory) were used. The particle size distribution of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate produced in these factories is shown in FIG. From those having a small coarse particle ratio, manufactured by A factory (surface dry density: 2.77 g / cm 3 , water absorption: 0.69%, coarse particle ratio: 2.14), manufactured by factory B (surface dry density: 2. 73 g / cm 3 , water absorption: 1.40%, coarse particle ratio: 2.61), manufactured by Factory C (surface dry density: 2.70 g / cm 3 , water absorption: 2.06%, coarse particle ratio: 2 .71), manufactured by Factory D (surface dry density: 2.69 g / cm 3 , water absorption: 3.08%, coarse particle ratio: 3.50). In addition, the X-ray diffraction analysis result of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate made from each factory is as showing in FIG. 21 and FIG. Further, in order to investigate the influence of the particle size distribution, the slag of each factory has the coarsest particle size distribution of BFS1.2 as defined in JIS A 5011-1: 2013 shown in FIG. 2 (rough particle ratio: 2.68). In addition, an intermediate one (coarse grain ratio: 2.09) and a fine one (coarse grain ratio: 1.50) adjusted in particle size were also used. Furthermore, in order to investigate the influence of the particle size, it is divided into each particle size of 0.15 mm or less, 0.15-0.3 mm, 0.3-0.6 mm, 0.6-1.2 mm, 1.2 mm or more. Also used. For comparison, hard sandstone crushed sand (surface dry density: 2.64 g / cm 3 , water absorption: 2.00%, coarse particle ratio: 3.02) was also used as the fine aggregate. As the cement, ordinary Portland cement (density: 3.15 g / cm 3 , brain value: 3,350 cm 2 / g) is used, and as the coarse aggregate of concrete, hard sandstone crushed stone (maximum dimension: 20 mm, surface dry density: 2) 0.74 g / cm 3 , water absorption: 0.53%).
Table 1 shows the concrete mix used in this experiment.
The water-cement ratio (W / C) of concrete is 35%, and the unit water volume (W) is 175 kg / m 3 . Unit cement amount (C), fine aggregate rate (s / a), fine aggregate amount (S) (hard sandstone crushed sand (SS), blast furnace slag fine aggregate (BFS)), coarse aggregate amount (G) As shown in Table 1. As the admixture, a polycarboxylic acid-based high-performance water reducing agent, an antifoaming agent and a thickener were used. Blend No. 1 is a blend using 100% hard sandstone crushed sand (SS) for fine aggregate, and Blend No. 2 is a blend using 100% blast furnace slag fine aggregate (BFS) for fine aggregate.
In the experiment using mortar, two types were used: mortar collected from concrete immediately after mixing using a 5 mm sieve, and mortar prepared by mixing cement, water, and sand. The mortar prepared by mixing cement, water, and sand is used in a mass ratio of water: cement: fine aggregate in a ratio of 1: 2: 4.5 with reference to the formulation shown in JIS A 1146: 2007. It was. When only blast furnace slag fine aggregate having a particle size of 0.15 mm or less, 0.3 mm or less, and 0.15 to 0.3 mm is used, the mass ratio is 2 with respect to cement in order to ensure workability. % Of high-performance water reducing agent is added.
(コンクリートの凍結融解試験)
コンクリートの凍結融解試験は、JIS A 1148:2010に規定される水中凍結融解試験方法(A法)に準拠して行った。なお、試験水には、質量パーセント濃度で10%の塩化ナトリウム水溶液を用い、供試体には、100mm×100mm×400mmの角柱供試体を用いた。供試体は、コンクリートの打込みから24時間は型枠内で養生を行い、脱型後から試験開始まで水中で養生を行った。
(Freezing and thawing test of concrete)
The concrete freeze-thaw test was performed in accordance with the underwater freeze-thaw test method (Method A) defined in JIS A 1148: 2010. In addition, the sodium chloride aqueous solution of 10% by mass percent concentration was used for test water, and the square column test piece of 100 mm x 100 mm x 400 mm was used for the test piece. The specimens were cured in the mold for 24 hours after placing the concrete, and were cured in water from demolding to the start of the test.
(Freeze-thaw test using small pieces of mortar)
In the freeze-thaw test using the mortar piece, a cubic mortar piece having a side of 10 mm shown in FIG. 3 was used. The mortar is driven into a 40 mm x 40 mm x 160 mm mold, cured in a mold at room temperature of 20 ± 2 ° C for 24 hours, demolded, and then cured underwater until the age of 7 and 56 days. After that, a mortar piece having a side of 10 mm was prepared using a diamond cutter. Put 5 pieces of mortar pieces (about 14 g) and 100 mL of test water in a polypropylene container and let it cool to -20 ° C in 3 hours, hold it for 9 hours and freeze it, then raise it to 30 ° C in 3 hours. The test was conducted with the process of holding for 9 hours and melting as one cycle. After completion of the melting step, a small piece of mortar was taken out and the collapsed portion was removed, and the mass was measured.
(Experimental results and discussion)
[Relationship between scaling of concrete and mass change of mortar pieces]
FIG. 4 shows the mass change in the freeze-thaw test of concrete which was cured under water up to the age of 7 days. The test water is a 10% sodium chloride aqueous solution with a mass percent concentration. These concretes do not use AE agents or thickeners. The change in mass includes two factors: a decrease in mass due to scaling that occurs on the concrete surface, and an increase in mass due to the ingress of water into microcracks that occur on and within the concrete surface. It can be seen that the change in mass of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A is smaller than that of crushed hard sandstone. 5 and 6 are photographs of the surface of concrete using blast furnace slag fine aggregate and hard sandstone crushed sand manufactured by Factory A shown in FIG. 4, respectively. Those using blast furnace slag fine aggregate are the results after 99 cycles of repeated freezing and thawing, and those using hard sandstone crushed sand are the results after 92 cycles.
また、図7および図8は、それぞれ、図5および図6の点線で囲まれた部分を拡大したものである。これらの図より、細骨材に硬質砂岩砕砂を用いたコンクリートは、粗骨材が現れる程度スケーリングが生じていることが分かる。一方、細骨材にA工場製の高炉スラグ細骨材を用いたコンクリートは、表面の損傷はほとんど生じておらず、スケーリングが生じにくいことが分かる。 7 and 8 are enlarged views of portions surrounded by dotted lines in FIGS. 5 and 6, respectively. From these figures, it can be seen that the concrete using hard sandstone crushed sand as fine aggregate is scaled to the extent that coarse aggregate appears. On the other hand, it is understood that the concrete using the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A as the fine aggregate hardly causes the surface damage and is difficult to cause the scaling.
図9は、図4に示すコンクリートから5mmふるいを用いて採取したモルタルにより作製したモルタル小片の凍結融解試験の結果である。試験水には、質量パーセント濃度で10%の塩化ナトリウム水溶液を用いている。 FIG. 9 shows the results of a freeze-thaw test of a mortar piece made of mortar taken from the concrete shown in FIG. 4 using a 5 mm sieve. The test water is a 10% sodium chloride aqueous solution with a mass percent concentration.
Mortar pieces made from concrete using hard sandstone crushed sand with high scaling have a mass reduction of 80% after 40 cycles of freeze-thaw action. On the other hand, it can be seen that the change in mass is small even when the freeze-thaw action is repeated for 40 cycles or more in small pieces of mortar produced from concrete using blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A with small scaling. FIG. 10 shows a state of destruction when the mortar piece shown in FIG. 9 is subjected to 40 cycles of freezing and thawing. Mortars using hard sandstone crushed sand almost collapsed after 40 cycles of freeze-thaw action, whereas mortar pieces using blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A have large corners. It can be seen that the resistance to freezing and thawing is high.
図4から図8で示したコンクリートの凍結融解試験で生じるスケーリングと、図9および図10で示したモルタル小片を用いた凍結融解試験の結果は、概ね同様の傾向を示している。モルタル小片を用いた凍結融解試験を用いれば、コンクリートに生じるスケーリングの傾向が把握できると考えられる。 The scaling that occurs in the freeze-thaw test of the concrete shown in FIGS. 4 to 8 and the results of the freeze-thaw test using the mortar pieces shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 show almost the same tendency. If the freeze-thaw test using small pieces of mortar is used, the tendency of scaling that occurs in concrete can be grasped.
[Differences in the production plant of blast furnace slag fine aggregate]
FIG. 11 shows the results of a freeze-thaw test of small pieces of mortar using four types of blast furnace slag fine aggregates from different manufacturing plants. The blending of mortar is shown in JIS A 1146: 2007 in which water, cement, and fine aggregate are in a mass ratio of 1: 2: 4.5. In these results, the test was started immediately after the underwater curing was performed until the age of 7 days. Note that tap water is used as test water. From this figure, it can be seen that there is a difference in mortar mass change depending on the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufacturing plant. On the other hand, FIG. 12 shows the results of testing using 10% sodium chloride aqueous solution at a mass percent concentration as test water. It can be seen that the mass of each manufacturing factory is reduced in mass at an early stage as compared with that using the tap water shown in FIG.
FIG. 13 shows blast furnace slag fine aggregates prepared by adjusting four types of blast furnace slag fine aggregates from different manufacturing plants to the coarsest particle size distribution of BFS1.2 defined in JIS A 5011-1: 2013 shown in FIG. It is the result of having performed the freezing and thawing test of the mortar piece which used No .. It can be seen that the mass is reduced at an early stage in any manufacturing plant as compared with the case where the particle size adjustment is not performed as shown in FIG. On the other hand, FIG. 14 is a result of using a blast furnace slag fine aggregate adjusted to an intermediate particle size distribution of BFS1.2 defined in JIS A 5011-1: 2013 shown in FIG.
It can be seen that the mass reduction rate of all the manufacturing factories is smaller than that of the coarse particle size distribution shown in FIG. Furthermore, FIG. 15 is a result of using a blast furnace slag fine aggregate adjusted to the finest particle size distribution of BFS1.2 defined in JIS A 5011-1: 2013 shown in FIG. The products manufactured by Factory A and Factory C hardly change in mass even after 100 cycles of repeated freeze-thaw action. Although there are differences depending on the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufacturing plant, the effect of the particle size distribution is considered to be greater.
[Effects of particle size and curing]
FIG. 16 shows that the blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A is screened to 0.15 mm or less, 0.15 to 0.3 mm, 0.3 to 0.6 mm, 0.6 to 1.2 mm, 1.2 mm or more, The results of freeze-thaw tests of mortar pieces using blast furnace slag fine aggregates of various particle sizes are shown. The test is started immediately after underwater curing is carried out until the age of 7 days. The test water is a 10% sodium chloride aqueous solution with a mass percent concentration. From this figure, it can be seen that the larger the particle size, the earlier the mass decreases. On the other hand, in a fine particle having a particle size of 0.15 mm or less, mass change hardly occurs even after 100 cycles of repeated freeze-thaw cycles. FIG. 17 shows the result of a freeze-thaw test after the mortar shown in FIG. 16 was cured in water until the age of 56 days. It can be seen that by performing curing for a long time, the mass reduction rate becomes small even when the particle size is large. On the other hand, FIG. 18 shows the result of a freeze-thaw test of mortar using a particle having a particle size of 1.2 mm or more pulverized with a mill to a particle size of 0.3 mm or less. The test is started immediately after underwater curing is carried out until the age of 7 days. Large grains of blast furnace slag fine aggregate produced at any factory are ground finely, so that mass loss due to freezing and thawing is reduced. It is known that blast furnace slag fine aggregate has hydraulic properties (see, for example, Non-Patent Document 3), and it is reported that compressive strength increases over a long period of time and neutralization is slightly suppressed. (For example, see Non-Patent Document 4).
大きな粒径のものは、骨材表面で生じる反応に時間がかかるため、養生期間を長くとるか、細かくして表面積を増やし、高炉スラグ細骨材が反応しやすくさせることで、骨材とペーストの界面が強固になり、スケーリングを抑制する効果が高まるものと考えられる。 Larger particle sizes take longer time to react on the surface of the aggregate, so the longer the curing period or the smaller the surface area, the easier the blast furnace slag fine aggregate will react. It is considered that the interface becomes stronger and the effect of suppressing scaling is enhanced.
FIG. 19 shows the results of the relative dynamic elastic modulus indicating the influence of the age at the start of the test on the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete using blast furnace slag fine aggregate. As the fine aggregate, blast furnace slag fine aggregate manufactured by Factory A is used, and no AE agent is used. As the admixture, a high-performance water reducing agent, an antifoaming agent and a thickening agent are used. Regardless of the age at the start of any test, the relative kinematic modulus after repeating the freeze-thaw action for 300 cycles is 95% or more. On the other hand, FIG. 20 shows the result of freeze-thaw test of concrete using the blast furnace slag fine aggregate shown in FIG. 19 in terms of mass change rate. When the test was started at 7 days of age, the mass decreased by about 3.5% after 300 cycles of repeated freezing and thawing, whereas the test started at 28 days of age. Is as small as 1.0% or less. Even if the freeze-thaw resistance indicated by the relative kinematic elastic modulus is small, it can be said that the freeze-thaw resistance indicated by the mass change rate has an influence due to the curing period. In concrete using blast furnace slag fine aggregate, if the curing period is long, it is considered that the freeze-thaw resistance is further improved by the reaction of the blast furnace slag fine aggregate having a large particle size.
(Summary of experimental results)
The results obtained in the above experiment are summarized as follows.
1) The finer the blast furnace slag fine aggregate, the higher the effect of suppressing the scaling of concrete.
2) By performing underwater curing for a long period of time, the effect of suppressing the scaling of coarse blast furnace slag fine aggregate is also increased.
3) Even if the fine grained blast furnace slag fine aggregate is finely pulverized, it has the same effect as the fine grained blast furnace slag divided by the sieve.
4) When concrete using blast furnace slag fine aggregate is tested according to the freeze-thaw test method (Method A) shown in JIS A 1148: 2010, the difference in age given to the relative kinematic modulus is small. Even so, scaling is smaller for those that have been underwater curing for a long time.
