電動機部の回転軸に固定され回転駆動するファンと、
前記ファンを被い中央部に吸気口を有するファンケースと、を備え、
前記ファンケースは、前記吸気口に反ファン側に向かって突出形成された環状部を有し、前記環状部内に、リング状のベース部と、前記ベース部の外端から前記ファン側軸方向に突出したフランジ部と、を含む支持体を有し、
前記ベース部の軸側端は前記環状部の軸側開放端円筒面と接触嵌合し、
前記フランジ部は環状部反軸側面との間に空間を有し、
前記フランジ部の前記ファン側の端部の少なくとも1箇所に、前記フランジ部の内周側と外周側とを連通する切欠部を設け、
前記切欠部の反ファン側底部は、前記ベース部のファン側端面よりも前記ファン側に位置し、
