Description
航空機の両翼にそれぞれ設けたエンジンに、遠心ポンプ及びギアポンプを有するポンプユニットで昇圧して供給する燃料の供給元を、前記航空機の胴体に設けた燃料タンクと前記各翼に設けた燃料タンクとの間で切り替える航空機エンジンの燃料供給装置において、
左翼に設けた前記エンジンに燃料を供給する2つの前記ポンプユニットであって、前記胴体の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第1ポンプユニット、及び、前記両翼の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第2ポンプユニットと、
右翼に設けた前記エンジンに燃料を供給する2つの前記ポンプユニットであって、前記胴体の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第3ポンプユニット、及び、前記両翼の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第4ポンプユニットと、
前記各エンジンに燃料を供給する前記ポンプユニットをそれぞれ選択的に切り替える切替ユニットとを備えており、
前記各ポンプユニットは、前記遠心ポンプ及び前記ギアポンプを電動モータで回転駆動し前記エンジンに供給する燃料を昇圧、計量する、
ことを特徴とする。

Claims (2)
- 航空機の両翼にそれぞれ設けたエンジンに、遠心ポンプ及びギアポンプを有するポンプユニットで昇圧して供給する燃料の供給元を、前記航空機の胴体に設けた燃料タンクと前記各翼に設けた燃料タンクとの間で切り替える航空機エンジンの燃料供給装置において、
左翼に設けた前記エンジンに燃料を供給する2つの前記ポンプユニットであって、前記胴体の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第1ポンプユニット、及び、前記両翼の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第2ポンプユニットと、
右翼に設けた前記エンジンに燃料を供給する2つの前記ポンプユニットであって、前記胴体の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第3ポンプユニット、及び、前記両翼の燃料タンクからの燃料を供給する第4ポンプユニットと、
前記各エンジンに燃料を供給する前記ポンプユニットをそれぞれ選択的に切り替える切替ユニットとを備えており、
前記各ポンプユニットは、前記遠心ポンプ及び前記ギアポンプを電動モータで回転駆動し前記エンジンに供給する燃料を昇圧、計量する、
ことを特徴とする航空機エンジンの燃料供給装置。 - 前記左翼のエンジンに前記第2ポンプユニットから燃料が供給され、かつ、前記右翼のエンジンに前記第3ポンプユニットから燃料が供給されているときに、前記第3ポンプユニットの前記遠心ポンプによる燃料のブースト圧を利用して、前記胴体の燃料タンクから前記第1ポンプユニットへの燃料供給経路中の燃料を、前記両翼の燃料タンクから前記第2ポンプユニットへの燃料供給経路に供給する第1エジェクタポンプと、
前記右翼のエンジンに前記第4ポンプユニットから燃料が供給され、かつ、前記左翼のエンジンに前記第1ポンプユニットから燃料が供給されているときに、前記第1ポンプユニットの前記遠心ポンプによる燃料のブースト圧を利用して、前記胴体の燃料タンクから前記第3ポンプユニットへの燃料供給経路中の燃料を、前記両翼の燃料タンクから前記第4ポンプユニットへの燃料供給経路に供給する第2エジェクタポンプと、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の航空機エンジンの燃料供給装置。
