Claims (4)
- 複数の外側ボールグルーブを備える外側ジョイント部材と、
前記複数の外側ボールグルーブにそれぞれ対応する複数の内側ボールグルーブを備える内側ジョイント部材と、
前記一対の外側ボールグルーブおよび内側ボールグルーブによりそれぞれ案内される複数のトルク伝達ボールと、
前記複数のトルク伝達ボールを収容するボールケージと、を含み、
前記外側および内側ボールグルーブは、互いに異なる形状が連結されてなる二重形状をそれぞれ有し、
前記外側ジョイント部材と前記内側ジョイント部材がゼロ(0)の角度をなす状態で前記内側ジョイント部材の中心線と、前記トルク伝達ボールの中心との間の距離(H)に対する前記外側ボールグルーブの変曲中心点と、前記外側ジョイント部材と前記内側ジョイント部材がゼロ(0)の角度をなす状態で前記複数のトルク伝達ボールの中心を連結する線との間の距離であるオフセット(offset)値(O)の比率(O/H)が0.07乃至0.11である等速ユニバーサルジョイント。 - 前記ボールケージは、前記トルク伝達ボールと接触する部位が接触面の内側端から外側端方向に1/8乃至1/12の間の地点に位置する、請求項1に記載の等速ユニバーサルジョイント。
- 前記内側ジョイント部材は、前記外側ジョイント部材に対して50度以上の折れ角で回動可能である、請求項1に記載の等速ユニバーサルジョイント。
- 前記変曲中心点は、前記トルク伝達ボールの中心を連結する線から前記外側ジョイント部材の開放側にオフセットされる、請求項1に記載の等速ユニバーサルジョイント。
