Description
The present disclosure relates to an exhaust gas recirculation device that recirculates a part of exhaust gas flowing through an exhaust passage of an engine to an intake passage, and an engine device including the exhaust gas recirculation device.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an exhaust gas recirculation device that has an EGR pipe that connects an exhaust passage and an intake passage of an engine and recirculates the exhaust gas by returning a part of the exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust passage to the intake passage is known. . In this exhaust gas recirculation device, the exhaust gas passing through the EGR pipe is cooled by the EGR cooler. According to such an exhaust gas recirculation device, particularly in a diesel engine, the combustion temperature in the combustion chamber of the engine can be lowered, which is effective in suppressing NOx emissions.
Since high-temperature exhaust gas flows through the EGR pipe, the EGR pipe itself is also heated to a high temperature during engine operation. However, when the engine is stopped, the inside of the EGR pipe is cooled to a low temperature, and condensed water is generated inside the EGR pipe. This condensed water is generated particularly in the vicinity of the EGR cooler in which the cooling water circulates in the outer peripheral portion. When such condensed water is generated, it reacts with the sulfur content in the exhaust gas to produce sulfuric acid, which may corrode the EGR pipe.
In
At least one embodiment of the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and the object of the present invention is to prevent the EGR pipe from being corroded and to maintain the engine. An object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas recirculation device that is excellent and that can make the entire engine device compact, and an engine device including the exhaust gas recirculation device.

An EGR cooler capable of cooling the exhaust gas passing through the EGR pipe,
The EGR piping is arranged so as to bypass the rocker cover of the engine in a planar manner, and is arranged so that inclined portions are formed on both sides with the top as a boundary in the longitudinal direction.
According to such an exhaust gas recirculation device, since the EGR pipe is arranged in such a manner that inclined portions are formed on both sides with the top as a boundary, condensed water may stay inside the EGR pipe. And there is no risk of corrosion in the EGR piping. Further, since the EGR pipe is arranged so as to bypass the rocker cover of the engine in a plane, it is not necessary to remove the EGR pipe when removing the rocker cover, and the maintainability is excellent. Moreover, the whole engine apparatus can be comprised compactly compared with the conventional case where EGR piping straddles the upper direction of an engine.
In this specification, “the EGR pipe is arranged so as to bypass the engine rocker cover in a plane” means that the relative arrangement of the EGR pipe and the rocker cover is viewed in a plan view in FIG. As shown in FIG. 6A, not only is the EGR

In one embodiment of the present invention,
The longitudinal top of the EGR pipe includes a horizontal portion having a predetermined length.
According to such a configuration, since the EGR pipe can be arranged in the engine device using the horizontal portion, the positioning of the EGR pipe and the attachment to the engine device are easy.

In an exhaust gas recirculation device that recirculates part of the exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust passage of the engine to the intake passage,

According to the engine device provided with such an exhaust gas recirculation device, since the EGR pipe is arranged in such a manner that inclined portions are formed on both sides with the top as a boundary, condensed water is formed inside the EGR pipe. According to at least one embodiment of the present invention, an exhaust gas recirculation device that is free from corrosion in EGR piping, has excellent engine maintainability, and can make the entire engine device compact, and the An engine device including an exhaust gas recirculation device can be provided.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
However, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. The dimensions, materials, shapes, relative arrangements, and the like of the component parts described in the following embodiments are not merely intended to limit the scope of the present invention, but are merely illustrative examples.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the external appearance of the entire engine apparatus of the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a plan view showing the external appearance of the entire engine apparatus of the present embodiment. 1 and 2, the front side of the figure is defined as “front side”, the back side as “rear side”, the left side as “exhaust side”, and the right side as “intake side”. The “front side” and “rear side” are irrelevant to the orientation direction with respect to the vehicle when the engine device of the present embodiment is mounted on the vehicle.
FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the flow of exhaust gas, intake gas, and EGR gas around the engine. In FIG. 3, only the components necessary for explaining the flow of exhaust gas, intake gas, and EGR gas around the engine are extracted and displayed, and a rocker cover and the like to be described later are omitted. .
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
As shown in FIG. 3, the exhaust
Of the exhaust gas e exhausted from the diesel engine cylinder 2, the remaining exhaust gas excluding the recirculated EGR gas r flows into the turbine scroll of the
The
The EGR cooler 10B is connected to the upstream end of the
The
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
A
A
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
Next, the plane and longitudinal shape of the exhaust
As shown in FIG. 4, the planar shape of the
Here, in the
As shown in FIG. 5A, the
Further, the horizontal portion 10A1 is clamped by a
Further, as shown in FIG. 5B, the EGR cooler 10B is connected to the
According to the exhaust gas recirculation device of the present embodiment configured as described above, the
Further, as described above, the
As described above, the EGR cooler 10B is connected to the
As mentioned above, although the preferable form of this invention was demonstrated, this invention is not limited to said form, A various change in the range which does not deviate from the objective of this invention is possible.
At least one embodiment of the present invention provides an exhaust gas recirculation device for recirculating a part of exhaust gas flowing through an exhaust passage of an engine to an intake passage, and an engine device including the exhaust gas recirculation device, particularly for industrial use.
