Description
本開示は、電子ディスプレイ及びその製造方法に関する。
電子ディスプレイパネルは、しばしば、パネルの中央に向けて画像を生成し、少なくとも1つのエッジの周囲に画像を生成しない領域を有する。これらのダークエッジは、電気的接続、光源による照明、又は結合区域のような追加的機能のために有用であり得る。ディスプレイの画像区域と非画像区域との両方を、例えば、窓又はタッチパネルのような透明な外側パネルによってカバーするときに、それらのダークエッジを不透明層によって隠すことができる。不透明層は、高分子フィルム、蒸着された金属又は無機材料、又は印刷されたインクのような多様な材料で作製することができる。不透明層は、ディスプレイパネルのエッジからの可視光放射をかなり遮ることができ、ディスプレイの画像区域が見える枠を形成することができる。
したがって、画像形成ディスプレイ装置のダークエッジとして機能し得る不透明層の必要は存在する。例えば、約420nm〜約700nmの波長のほとんどの可視光放射を効果的に遮る一方で、不透明層の下に配置された光硬化性の光学的に透明な接着剤の光硬化を可能にするようにそれらを通じて十分な紫外線を透過させるために、不透明層の必要が存在する。また、ディスプレイパネルに容易に適用することができ、所望の光学的特性を有し、その下に配置された光硬化性の光学的に透明な接着剤の硬化を可能にすることができる、そのような特性を有するインクの必要も存在する。
「アクリレート」はアクリル酸のエステルを指し、本開示においては、メタクリル酸のエステルもまた含む。

Mg3−x−yCoxNiy(PO4)2(x+yは1〜1.4、x/yは0.8〜1.2)。Co及びMg Co2−xMgxP2O7二リン酸塩をベースとするその他の有用な青紫セラミック顔料は、M.Llusarら(European Ceramic Society,30,1887〜1896(2010))に開示されているような、マグネシウムをドープしたリン酸コバルトをドープした顔料などである。
Claims (3)
- 電子ディスプレイであって、
画像形成領域を有するディスプレイパネルと、
前記画像形成領域の上に配置された第1の光硬化性樹脂系の反応生成物であり、実質的に透明な、光硬化された接着層と、
前記実質的に透明な、光硬化された接着層の少なくとも一部分に近接した不透明層と、
前記不透明層の少なくとも一部分及び前記実質的に透明な、光硬化された接着層の少なくとも一部分と接触している実質的に透明な外側パネルと、を備え、
前記不透明層は、420nm〜700nmの波長範囲の全ての波長に対して約5%未満の平均光透過率及び300〜400nmの波長範囲で約5%を超える平均紫外線透過率を有し、
前記不透明層が、第2の樹脂系の反応生成物を含み、
前記第2の樹脂系が、マグネシウムがドープされたリン酸コバルトをドープした顔料を含む、電子ディスプレイ。 - 樹脂系であって、
実質的に透明な光硬化性樹脂系と、
前記実質的に透明な光硬化性樹脂系に配置された少なくとも1つの染料又は顔料と、
前記実質的に透明な光硬化性樹脂系に配置された少なくとも1つの光開始剤と、を含み、
前記樹脂系は、420nm〜700nmの波長範囲において約5%未満の平均光透過率及び300〜400nmの波長範囲の全ての波長に対して約5%を超える光透過率を有し、
前記少なくとも1つの染料又は顔料が、マグネシウムがドープされたリン酸コバルトをドープした顔料を含む、樹脂系。 - 前記実質的に透明な光硬化性樹脂系が、エポキシモノマー、アクリルモノマー、又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項2に記載の樹脂系。
