Description
充電器は、車載通信部又は他の充電器と通信可能な通信制御部を備える。
図1に示す充電装置1は、電気自動車やプラグインハイブリッドカーなどの車両に搭載され、2つの充電器2を備える。各充電器2は、車両外部の充電スタンドなどから供給される電力を用いて、電池3を充電するための電力を出力する。また、各充電器2は、互いに並列接続されており、各充電器2からそれぞれ出力される電力が合成され、その合成後の電力が充電装置1の出力電力として電池3へ供給される。例えば、充電装置1に要求される出力電力が6.0[kW]、各充電器2の定格電力が3.0[kW]である場合、図1に示すように、2つの充電器2を備えて充電装置1を構成する。
通信制御部24は、2つの通信系統Cs1、Cs2を有する。通信制御部24は、一方の通信系統Cs1によりネットワーク4(例えば、CAN(Controller Area Network ))と接続されると、車両の走行などを制御する車載通信部5と通信可能になる。また、通信制御部24は、他方の通信系統Cs2により通信線25を介して他の充電器2の通信系統CS1と接続されると、他の充電器2と通信可能になる。また、通信制御部24は、充電装置1に要求される出力電力を各充電器2で協調して出力するための機能を有している。
まず、通信制御部24は、自身の充電器2が主充電器又は副充電器であるかを判断するための主/副情報を記憶部23から取得し(S21)、車載通信部5から送信される充電開始指示や上記充電装置1に要求される出力電力としての充電装置1の出力電力指令値C1(第1の出力電力指令値)を受信する(S22)。
なお、S22〜S31の処理は、電池3の充電処理が終了するまで繰り返し行われる。
まず、各充電器2の通信制御部24は、充電装置1が起動すると、又は、車両と充電スタンドが充電ケーブルを介して接続されたと判断すると、主/副情報を記憶部23から取得し、自身の充電器2が主充電器又は副充電器であるかを判断する。
そして、主充電器の通信制御部24は、副充電器の実出力電力値R2(2.9[kW])を受信すると、主充電器の実出力電力値R1(2.9[kW])と副充電器の実出力電力値R2(2.9[kW])とを加算し、その加算結果である5.8[kW]を充電装置1の実出力電力値R3として車載通信部5へ送信する。
まず、通信制御部24は、自身の充電器2が主充電器又は副充電器であるかを判断するための主/副情報を記憶部23から取得し(S41)、車載通信部5から送信される充電開始指示や充電装置1の出力電力指令値C1を受信する(S42)。
図5は、図4に示す動作例において、充電器2及び車載通信部5の間で送受信されるデータの一例を示す図である。
次に、主充電器の通信制御部24は、副充電器の実出力電力値R2(2.9[kW])を受信すると、充電装置1の出力電力指令値(6[kW])から副充電器の実出力電力値R2(2.9[kW])を減算し、その減算結果である3.1[kW]を主充電器の出力電力指令値C3として主充電器の制御部22へ送る。
なお、上記実施形態では、図2に示す動作例の主充電器において、充電装置1の出力電力指令値C1から主充電器の実出力電力値R1を減算し、その減算結果を副充電器の出力電力指令値C2として副充電器へ送信する構成であるが、充電装置1の出力電力指令値C1から主充電器の出力電力指令値C3を減算し、その減算結果を副充電器の出力電力指令値C2として副充電器へ送信するように構成してもよい。
3つ以上の充電器2を備えて充電装置1を構成する場合、各充電器2は、出力電力指令値C1のうち、自身の出力電力指令値C3以外の部分を、他の充電器で補ってもらうように、出力電力指令値C2を設定する。

- 車両に搭載される充電装置であって、
主充電器及び副充電器を備え、
前記主充電器は、車載通信部又は前記副充電器と通信可能な通信制御部を備え、
前記副充電器は、前記主充電器と通信可能な通信制御部を備え、
前記主充電器の通信制御部は、前記車載通信部から送信される第1の出力電力指令値に基づいて、前記主充電器の出力電力指令値を設定する場合、前記第1の出力電力指令値に基づいて設定される第2の出力電力指令値を前記副充電器に送信し、前記第1の出力電力指令値と前記副充電器から送信される前記副充電器の実出力電力値とに基づいて、前記主充電器の出力電力指令値を設定する場合、前記第1の出力電力指令値を前記副充電器に送信し、
前記副充電器の通信制御部は、前記第1又は第2の出力電力指令値に基づいて、前記副充電器の出力電力指令値を設定する
ことを特徴とする充電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の充電装置であって、
前記主充電器の通信制御部は、前記第1の出力電力指令値と、前記主充電器の実出力電力値又は前記主充電器の出力電力指令値との差分を、前記第2の出力電力指令値に設定する
ことを特徴とする充電装置。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の充電装置であって、
前記主充電器の通信制御部は、前記第1の出力電力指令値と、前記副充電器の実出力電力値との差分を、前記主充電器の出力電力指令値に設定する
ことを特徴とする充電装置。 - 請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の充電装置であって、
前記主充電器の通信制御部又は前記副充電器の通信制御部は、自身の充電器の定格電力値を上限値として自身の充電器の出力電力指令値を設定する
ことを特徴とする充電装置。 - 請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の充電装置であって、
前記主充電器の通信制御部は、自身の充電器が主充電器であると判断すると、前記第1の出力電力指令値と自身の充電器の定格電力値のうちの小さい方を、前記主充電器の出力電力指令値に設定し、
前記副充電器の通信制御部は、自身の充電器が副充電器であると判断すると、前記第2の出力電力指令値と自身の充電器の定格電力値のうちの小さい方を、前記副充電器の出力電力指令値に設定する
ことを特徴とする充電装置。 - 請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の充電装置であって、
前記主充電器の通信制御部は、自身の充電器が主充電器であると判断すると、前記第1の出力電力指令値と前記副充電器の実出力電力値との差分を、前記主充電器の出力電力指令値に設定し、
