Description
Claims (8)
- 第1のタイプのネットワークと、第2のタイプのネットワークとを含む無線通信システムにおいて、ユーザ装置(UE)により実行されるISR(idle mode signaling reduction)機能に関連するタイマを制御する方法であって、
前記ISR機能が駆動(enable)されたことを指示するUE位置登録受諾メッセージ(UE location registration accept message)を受信するステップと、
前記ISR機能が駆動されると、P−TAU(periodic tracking area updating)タイマ及びP−RAU(periodic routing area update)タイマの動作を保持するステップであって、前記P−TAUタイマ及び前記P−RAUタイマは、UE内で、独立に、MME(mobility management entity)及びSGSN(serving GPRS support node)を更新するために動作する、ステップと、
前記P−TAUタイマが満了し、移動性管理バックオフ(mobility management backoff:MM−BO)タイマが動作中である場合、前記第1のタイプのネットワークに対応するISR非活性化タイマ(deactivate ISR timer)を開始するステップと、を含み、
前記UEがMM−BOタイム値を受信するとき、前記MM−BOタイマが前記UE内で開始するように構成されたタイマである、方法。 - 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージは、前記第1のタイプのネットワークを介して受信されるTAU受諾メッセージである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージは、前記第2のタイプのネットワークを介して受信されるRAU(routing area update)受諾メッセージである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記MM−BOタイム値は制御メッセージに含まれ、
前記制御メッセージは、RRC(radio resource control)連結解除メッセージ、RRC連結拒絶メッセージ、RAU拒絶メッセージ又はTAU拒絶メッセージである、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 第1のタイプのネットワークと、第2のタイプのネットワークとを含む無線通信システムにおいて、ISR(idle mode signaling reduction)機能に関連するタイマを制御するユーザ装置(UE)であって、
信号を送受信する無線周波(RF)ユニットと、
前記RFユニットと接続され、
前記ISR機能が駆動(enable)されたことを指示するUE位置登録受諾メッセージ(UE location registration accept message)を受信し、
前記ISR機能が駆動されると、P−TAU(periodic tracking area updating)タイマ及びP−RAU(periodic routing area update)タイマの動作を保持し、前記P−TAUタイマ及び前記P−RAUタイマは、UE内で、MME(mobility management entity)及びSGSN(serving GPRS support node)を更新するために動作し、
前記P−TAUタイマが満了し、移動性管理バックオフ(mobility management backoff:MM−BO)タイマが動作中である場合、前記第1のタイプのネットワークに対応するISR非活性化タイマ(deactivate ISR timer)を開始し、
前記UEがMM−BOタイム値を受信するとき、前記MM−BOタイマが前記UE内で開始するように構成されるプロセッサとを含む、ユーザ装置(UE)。 - 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージは、前記第1のタイプのネットワークを介して受信されるTAU受諾メッセージである、請求項5に記載のユーザ装置(UE)。
- 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージは、前記第2のタイプのネットワークを介して受信されるRAU(routing area update)受諾メッセージである、請求項5に記載のユーザ装置(UE)。
- 前記MM−BOタイム値は制御メッセージに含まれ、
前記制御メッセージは、RRC(radio resource control)連結解除メッセージ、RRC連結拒絶メッセージ、RAU拒絶メッセージ又はTAU拒絶メッセージである、請求項5に記載のユーザ装置(UE)。
