Description
細菌の量を正確に測定できることが重要である。このテストの目的は、採尿装置を用いる細菌の測定数が、溶液から直接測定されるものと、容認可能以上に違わないことを保証するためのものであった。
このテストの目的は、システムが安定しており、排尿と採尿との間の時間が少なくとも12時間であってよく、分析結果が+/−1ログユニット以上変化しないことを保証するためのものであった。ゲルは、閉じ込められた微生物を大した量殺すことなく保存するべきである。これは、ポリマーがそれ自体に充分な保存効果を有し得るか、あるいは保存効果を有する追加の添加剤を使うことでこの効果がさらに高められ得ることにより達成され得る。

Claims (20)
- 採尿チャンバ(3)を備えるハウジング(4)を備える採尿装置(1)であって、該採尿装置(1)が衛生吸収性製品(15)に取り付けられることで該衛生吸収性製品(15)と結合させられ得、かつ前記採尿装置(1)が流体のための注入口(2)を備えるように、前記採尿装置(1)の前記ハウジング(4)は配置されている採尿装置(1)において、
前記採尿チャンバ(3)は尿で膨張し得るドライゲルを備え、前記採尿装置(1)は、前記ドライゲルそれ自体の特性を使って、および/あるいは前記ドライゲル内に保存剤を備えることによって、前記採尿装置(1)に採取された尿からの細菌内容物を保存する能力があり、
前記採尿装置(1)の外面が、前記採尿装置(1)を前記衛生吸収性製品(15)の身体側に付着させるために、付着手段(10)を備え、又は
前記衛生吸収性製品(15)が、前記採尿装置(1)と合体するための手段(14)を備えることを特徴とする採尿装置(1)。 - 前記ドライゲルは、物理的に架橋した親水性ゲルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記ドライゲルは、多糖と合成ポリマーとから成るグループから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1あるいは2に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記合成ポリマーは、親水性ポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記親水性ポリマーは、ポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記保存剤は、酸性の特性および/あるいは乾燥の特性を有する組成であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記保存剤は、酸と、前記酸からの塩とから成るグループから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記酸がホウ酸であり、前記塩がホウ酸ナトリウムあるいはホウ酸カリウムであることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記保存剤は、前記採尿チャンバ(3)に入った、尿サンプル内に存在するいかなる細菌も、少なくとも12時間の間前記採尿チャンバ(3)内に保持できるような量で存在し、その間細菌の増殖は1ログユニットよりも少なく、および/あるいは細菌の殺菌は1ログユニットよりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記付着手段(10)は、前記採尿装置(1)を前記吸収性製品(15)に取り外し可能に付着させることができるように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記付着手段(10)は、粘着状にあるいは面ファスナー状になっていることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記採尿チャンバ(3)は、膨張して、前記採尿チャンバ(3)内で既定の容量の尿を保持するために、選ばれた量のドライゲルを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記容量は、100μlから5000μlの間に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記容量は、150μlから500μlの間に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項12又は13に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記採尿装置(1)が既定の容量の尿を受容した時に、前記チャンバ(3)を密封するために、前記注入口(2)を閉鎖するための閉鎖装置(16)をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から14のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記ハウジング(4)内に作られた破砕性の窪み(6)を使って、前記採尿装置(1)を解体することによって、前記ドライゲルによって吸収された尿サンプルは、さらなる検査のために、前記採尿チャンバ(3)から取り除くことができることを特徴とする、請求項1から15のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 前記採尿装置(1)の前記ハウジング(4)は、前記採尿装置(1)が尿でいっぱいになった時に、そこから空気を通すための換気口(5)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から16のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)。
- 請求項1から17のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)を結合して備えることを特徴とする衛生吸収性製品(15)。
- 請求項1から17のいずれか1項に記載の採尿装置(1)と、前記採尿装置(1)をさらなる検査のために輸送するための、前記採尿装置(1)を収納するよう用意されたサンプル収集容器(24)とを備える尿検査キット。
- 前記採尿装置(1)を前記衛生吸収性製品(15)から取り除くときに、前記採尿装置(1)の汚染を防ぐための手袋(25)をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の尿検査キット。
