Claims (13)
- リン酸塩系バインダーに分散された金属又は金属酸化物顔料粒子を含むスラリーを塗布することにより形成される、1.27×10 −5 〜7.62×10 −5 m(0.5〜3.0ミル)の厚さを有する下塗り層と、
リン酸塩系バインダーに分散された金属酸化物顔料粒子を含むスラリーを塗布することにより形成される、2.54×10 −6 〜2.54×10 −5 m(0.1〜1.0ミル)の厚さを有する第2の層であって、該金属酸化物顔料粒子が、その粒子の粒子径分布及び表面積に起因して、強化された分散性を有する、上記第2の層とを含み、
該粒子径分布は、粒子径分布の50番目の百分位数が1.0〜2.0ミクロンの直径を有し、且つ粒子径分布の90番目の百分位数が3.0ミクロン以下の直径を有するものである、金属基材用の多層被覆系組成物。 - リン酸塩系バインダーに分散された金属酸化物顔料粒子が、リン酸塩系バインダーに分散された酸化クロム顔料粒子をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- 酸化クロム顔料粒子が、0.8〜2.2ミクロンのメジアン粒子径を有する、請求項2に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- 酸化クロム顔料粒子の表面積が、4m 2 /g以上である、請求項2に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- 顔料を含まないリン酸塩系バインダーを含む、1.27×10 −6 m(0.05ミル)以上の厚さを有するシールコート層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- シールコート層が、2.54×10 −6 m(0.1ミル)以上の厚さを有する、請求項5に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- 多層被覆系内の各層の表面粗さが、7.62×10 −7 m(30μインチ)以下である、請求項1に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- 下塗り層のリン酸塩系バインダーが、クロム酸塩−リン酸塩である、請求項1に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- 第2の層のリン酸塩系バインダーが、クロム酸塩−リン酸塩である、請求項1に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
- リン酸塩系バインダーに分散された金属又は金属酸化物顔料粒子を含むスラリーを塗布することにより形成される、1.27×10 −5 〜7.62×10 −5 m(0.5〜3.0ミル)の厚さを有する下塗り層と、
リン酸塩系バインダーに分散された酸化クロム顔料粒子を含むスラリーを塗布することにより形成される、2.54×10 −6 〜2.54×10 −5 m(0.1〜1.0ミル)の厚さを有する第2の層であって、該酸化クロム顔料粒子は、メジアン粒子径が0.8〜2.2ミクロンである粒子径分布を有し、粒子の表面積は4m 2 /g以上である、上記第2の層とを含み、
該粒子径分布は、粒子径分布の50番目の百分位数が1.0〜2.0ミクロンの直径を有し、且つ粒子径分布の90番目の百分位数が3.0ミクロン以下の直径を有するものであって、

- 第2の層のリン酸塩系バインダーが、クロム酸塩−リン酸塩である、請求項10に記載の多層被覆系組成物。
