Description
Claims (13)
- 針の挿入を視覚的に誘導するように構成された超音波画像化システムであって、
目標組織を含む組織領域を画像化し、受信信号を生成するように構成されたアレイトランスデューサを有する超音波プローブと、
前記超音波プローブにより受信された信号を処理して、前記受信信号に比例する画素値を有する空間的に識別された一組の画素を生成する超音波システムと、
前記画素値に応じて、超音波画像を生成するように構成された画像プロセッサと、
前記超音波画像を表示するように構成されたディスプレイと、
前記画素値に応じて、組織密度の推定値を生成するように構成された組織密度分析部であって、前記ディスプレイが前記組織密度の推定値を表示するように構成される、組織密度分析部と、
前記目標組織に対する前記針の位置と方向を識別するように構成された空間的ナビゲーションシステムであって、前記針の位置と方向に対する予測される針の挿入経路を特定するように動作可能である空間的ナビゲーションシステムと、
を有し、
前記ディスプレイは予測される針の挿入経路を前記超音波画像と空間的にレジストレーションして表示するように構成され、
前記組織密度分析部は、さらに、予測される経路とレジストレーションされた画素値を用いて、予測される針の挿入経路に沿って、組織密度の推定値を生成するように動作可能である、
超音波画像化システム。 - 前記組織密度分析部に応じて、針の挿入経路を計算するように構成された針経路計算部をさらに有し、
前記ディスプレイは、前記超音波画像と空間的にレジストレーションして、計算された針の挿入経路を表示するように構成された、
請求項1に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記ディスプレイは、前記組織密度の推定値を予測される針の挿入経路に沿って、相対的な組織密度の曲線として表示する、請求項1に記載の超音波画像化システム。
- 前記ディスプレイは、前記組織密度の推定値を数値的に表示するように構成された、
請求項1に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記超音波画像はさらに2次元超音波画像を含み、
前記組織密度分析部は、前記2次元超音波画像の画素値を用いて、組織密度の推定値を生成するように構成された、
請求項1に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記アレイトランスデューサは、前記超音波プローブが組織の体積領域をスキャンするのに用いることができる2次元アレイトランスデューサをさらに含み、
前記体積領域は2次元超音波画像の平面を含み、
前記組織密度分析部は、3次元領域を表す画素グループを用いて、前記組織密度の推定値を生成するように構成された、
請求項1に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記画素グループの一部は、前記2次元超音波画像の平面と一致する、
請求項6に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記組織密度分析部は、予測される針の挿入経路に沿って一連の組織密度推定値を生成するように構成され、
各推定値は、各次元で少なくとも3つの画素を有する2次元画素アレイから生成される、
請求項6に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記組織密度分析部は、可能な複数の針の挿入経路に沿って組織密度の推定値を生成するように動作可能であり、
前記針経路計算部は、提案された複数の針の挿入経路を計算するようにさらに動作可能であり、
前記ディスプレイは、提案された経路のひとつを、前記超音波画像と空間的にレジストレーションして表示するように構成された、
請求項2に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記ディスプレイは、提案された複数の経路を、前記超音波画像と空間的にレジストレーションして表示するように構成された、請求項9に記載の超音波画像化システム。
- 前記超音波画像とオーバーレイして表示するグラフィックを生成するように構成されたグラフィックジェネレータをさらに有し、
前記グラフィックジェネレータは、予測される針の挿入経路を示すグラフィックを生成するように構成された、
請求項1に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記超音波画像に目標組織の位置を示すように操作されるように構成されたユーザコントロールをさらに有し、
前記グラフィックジェネレータは、前記ユーザコントロールに応じて、前記超音波画像とレジストレーションして目標組織のグラフィックを生成する、
請求項11に記載の超音波画像化システム。 - 前記組織密度分析部に応じて、針の挿入経路を計算するように構成された針経路計算部をさらに有し、
前記グラフィックジェネレータは、前記針経路計算部に応じて、提案された針の挿入経路を表すグラフィックを生成する、
請求項12に記載の超音波画像化システム。
