Description
The present invention relates to a flexible sheet for transducers and a method for manufacturing a flexible sheet for transducers.
Transducers include actuators and generators that convert between mechanical energy and electrical energy. In order to construct a small and lightweight transducer, a flexible sheet for transducers including a dielectric elastomer layer and a conductive elastomer layer is used.
In this flexible sheet for transducers, the dielectric elastomer layer is desired to have a high electric resistance and a high dielectric breakdown voltage, and further to be flexible so that it can be easily deformed. Further, it is desirable that the conductive elastomer layer has sufficient hysteresis with little hysteresis loss and is soft enough to follow the deformation of the dielectric elastomer layer (see JP 2010-153364 A).
In order to make the dielectric elastomer layer and the conductive elastomer layer soft, it is conceivable that a softening agent is contained in the elastic base material included in the dielectric elastomer layer and the elastic base material included in the conductive elastomer layer. However, if the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer contains a large amount of softening agent, the softening agent in the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer moves to the conductive elastomer layer, and as a result, the conductive elastomer layer swells and wrinkles. This causes inconveniences such as occurrence and an increase in electrical resistance of the conductive elastomer layer. On the contrary, if a large amount of softening agent is contained in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer, the softening agent in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer moves to the dielectric elastomer layer, and the elastic modulus of the conductive elastomer layer increases. The deformation of the dielectric elastomer layer is hindered, and the function of the transducer may be lowered.
Moreover, the flexible sheet for transducers as described above is manufactured by applying a conductive elastomer layer forming material dissolved in a solvent to a previously formed dielectric elastomer layer. However, in such a manufacturing method, the dielectric elastomer layer is swollen by the solvent of the conductive elastomer layer forming material, wrinkles are generated in the product, or additives such as a softening agent for the dielectric elastomer layer are dissolved in the solvent, There is a possibility that the function of the dielectric elastomer layer is lowered.
This invention is made | formed in view of such a situation, and it aims at provision of the manufacturing method of the flexible sheet | seat for transducers which is excellent in a softness | flexibility and stability, and the flexible sheet | seat for transducers.
The invention made to solve the above problems is
A conductive elastomer layer having an elastic base material and a conductive filler, and a dielectric elastomer layer having an elastic base material laminated on one surface of the conductive elastomer layer,
The elastic substrate of the conductive elastomer layer and the elastic substrate of the dielectric elastomer layer contain a softener,
A flexible sheet for transducers in which the difference between the softener content (a) in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and the softener content (b) in the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer is 10% by mass or less. is there.
The flexible sheet for transducers is excellent in flexibility and stability by having the above configuration. The reason why the flexible sheet for transducer has the above-described configuration is that the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer contain a softening agent to improve flexibility. The difference between the softener content (a) in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and the softener content (b) in the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer is 10% by mass or less. It is conceivable that the agent can be suppressed from moving between the conductive elastomer layer and the dielectric elastomer layer and the physical properties thereof are changed, and the stability is excellent.
The transducer flexible sheet is:
And further comprising another dielectric elastomer layer laminated on the other surface of the conductive elastomer layer,
The other dielectric elastomer layer has an elastic base material containing a softening agent,
The difference between the softener content (b ′) and the softener content (a) in the elastic base material of the other dielectric elastomer layer is preferably 10% by mass or less.
When the flexible sheet for transducers has the above-described configuration, a plurality of the flexible sheets for transducers are crossed and overlapped, and a transducer element can be obtained by alternately folding the flexible sheets. Specifically, for example, a transducer element can be obtained by overlapping a pair of flexible sheets for transducers at substantially right angles so as to overlap each other and alternately folding the flexible sheets. The difference between the softener content ratio (b ′) and the softener content ratio (a) in the elastic base material of the other dielectric elastomer layer laminated on the other surface of the conductive elastomer layer is 10% by mass or less. Thus, it is difficult for the softener to move between the conductive elastomer layer and the other dielectric elastomer layer.
The transducer flexible sheet is:
Further comprising another conductive elastomer layer laminated on one surface of the dielectric elastomer layer,
The other conductive elastomer layer has an elastic base material containing a softening agent and a conductive filler,
The difference between the softener content (a ′) and the softener content (b) in the elastic base material of the other conductive elastomer layer is preferably 10% by mass or less.
Since the flexible sheet for a transducer has the above-described configuration, a conductive elastomer layer is laminated on both sides of the dielectric elastomer layer. By using the conductive elastomer layer on both sides as an electrode, a transducer element is obtained. It can be used suitably. The difference between the softener content (a ′) and the softener content (b) in the elastic base material of the other conductive elastomer layer laminated on one surface of the dielectric elastomer layer is 10% by mass or less. Thus, it is difficult for the softener to move between the other conductive elastomer layer and the dielectric elastomer layer.
The softener content (a) is preferably 30% by mass to 80% by mass, and the softener content (b) is preferably 30% by mass to 80% by mass. By setting it as the said structure, the softness | flexibility of the said flexible sheet | seat for transducers can be improved more. If the content of the softening agent in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and / or the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer exceeds 80% by mass, it becomes difficult to mold the elastomer layer, and the insulation property of the elastomer layer decreases. Therefore, the function as a transducer may be deteriorated. On the other hand, when the content ratio of the softening agent in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and / or the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer is less than 30% by mass, the elastic modulus of the elastomer layer increases and the deformation amount decreases. The function as a transducer may be reduced.
The dielectric elastomer layer preferably contains a dielectric filler. Thereby, the dielectric constant of the dielectric elastomer layer can be further increased.
The conductive filler is preferably a carbon nanotube. When the conductive elastomer layer contains carbon nanotubes, the electrical resistance of the conductive elastomer layer can be further reduced, the conductivity can be improved, and a decrease in conductivity can be suppressed even if deformation is repeated. .
The method for producing a flexible sheet for a transducer according to the present invention includes:
A step of forming a first sheet body by laminating a dielectric elastomer layer having an elastic base material having a softener content ratio of 30% by mass or more and 80% by mass or less on one release film;
A conductive elastomer having an elastic substrate and a conductive filler having a softener content of 30% by mass to 80% by mass and a difference from the softener content of the dielectric elastomer layer of 10% by mass or less in another release film A step of forming a second sheet body by laminating the layers, and a multilayer structure by laminating the first sheet body and the second sheet body in a state where the dielectric elastomer layer and the conductive elastomer layer face each other. Forming a step.
According to the method for producing a flexible sheet for a transducer, the softening agent in the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer is compared with the conventional method in which the conductive elastomer layer forming material dissolved in the solvent is applied to the dielectric elastomer layer. Therefore, the flexible sheet for transducers can be easily and reliably manufactured without dissolving in the solvent. Further, in the flexible sheet for transducers thus manufactured, the difference between the softener content ratio in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and the softener content ratio in the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer is 10% by mass or less. Therefore, it is difficult for the softener to move between the conductive elastomer layer and the dielectric elastomer layer.
The manufacturing method of the flexible sheet for transducers is as follows:
In the step of forming the first sheet body, a plurality of first sheet bodies are formed,
A step of peeling the release film of the second sheet body from the multilayer structure, and a laminate obtained by peeling the release film of the second sheet body from the multilayer structure; It is preferable to further include a step of laminating the layer and the conductive elastomer layer in an opposed state.
Thereby, the flexible sheet | seat for transducers by which the dielectric elastomer layer was laminated | stacked on both surfaces of the conductive elastomer layer can be manufactured. A plurality of flexible sheets for transducers manufactured in this way are overlapped and overlapped, and alternately folded into a bellows shape to obtain a transducer element.
The manufacturing method of the flexible sheet for transducers is as follows:
In the step of forming the second sheet body, a plurality of second sheet bodies are formed,
The step of peeling the release film of the first sheet body from the multilayer structure, and the other second sheet body, the conductive elastomer, on the laminate from which the release film of the first sheet body was peeled from the multilayer structure It is preferable to further include a step of laminating the layer and the dielectric elastomer layer in an opposed state.
Thereby, the flexible sheet | seat for transducers by which the conductive elastomer layer was laminated | stacked on both surfaces of the dielectric elastomer layer can be manufactured. The thus produced flexible sheet for transducers can be suitably used as a transducer element by using the conductive elastomer layers on both sides of the dielectric elastomer layer as electrodes.
It is preferable that the manufacturing method of the flexible sheet for transducers further includes a step of cutting the second sheet body into a predetermined shape before the step of forming the multilayer structure. Thereby, after making a conductive elastomer layer into a desired magnitude | size, this conductive elastomer layer and a dielectric elastomer layer can be laminated | stacked.
In the cutting step, the second sheet body is cut to be smaller than the first sheet body, and in the step of forming the multilayer structure, the conductive elastomer layer of the second sheet body is the first sheet body. It is preferable to laminate so as not to protrude from the dielectric elastomer layer. Thus, it can suppress that a conductive elastomer layer raise | generates a short circuit by laminating | stacking so that the conductive elastomer layer of the said 2nd sheet body may not protrude from the dielectric elastomer layer of the said 1st sheet body.
Here, “one” refers to a predetermined direction relative to the entire transducer flexible sheet, and “the other” refers to the opposite direction.
As described above, according to the flexible sheet for transducers of the present invention, the physical properties change or the shape changes by suppressing the softening agent from moving between the conductive elastomer layer and the dielectric elastomer layer. Can be suppressed, and is excellent in flexibility and stability.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As the conductive filler, various types can be adopted. Among these, carbon nanotubes that can reduce the electrical resistance with a small amount and hardly increase the elastic modulus of the

The

Therefore, in the flexible sheet for transducers of the present invention, the difference between the softener content ratio in the elastic base material of the conductive elastomer layer and the softener content ratio in the elastic base material of the dielectric elastomer layer is 10% by mass or less.
