Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態による電池制御装置10の構成を示す図である。電池制御装置10は、バッテリコントローラ200と、所定の通信順位に従って相互に接続された複数のセルコントローラ100とを有している。電池制御装置10は、車両コントローラ400、モータコントローラ300、電池モジュール130、インバータ340、モータ350などと共に、電気自動車やハイブリッド自動車などの電動車両に搭載される。
次に、本発明の第2の実施形態について説明する。図7は、本発明の第2の実施形態における電池制御装置10の通信系統の説明図である。この図7に示す通信系統は、図2に示した第1の実施形態による通信系統と比べて、2つのブロック131および132に分割されており、ブロック131とブロック132に共通の絶縁素子204を設置した点が異なっている。なお、図7では、ブロック131、132がそれぞれn個のセルコントローラ100(セルコントローラ100a〜100n)を有している場合の例を示している。このうち通信順位で最上位のセルコントローラ100aと最下位のセルコントローラ100n以外については、図示を省略している。
Claims (5)
- 複数の単電池セルを接続したセルグループが複数接続された電池モジュールを制御する電池制御装置であって、
前記セルグループの各々に対応して設けられ、所定の通信順位に従って相互に接続されており、対応するセルグループの各単電池セルの状態を検出する複数のセルコントローラと、
前記複数のセルコントローラに対して起動信号を出力すると共に、前記複数のセルコントローラのうち前記通信順位で最上位のセルコントローラに対して通信信号を送信し、前記複数のセルコントローラのうち前記通信順位で最下位のセルコントローラから前記通信信号を受信するバッテリコントローラと、を備え、
前記複数のセルコントローラの各々は、
前記起動信号の入力の有無に応じて待機状態と動作状態を切り替える制御回路を有し、
前記起動信号の入力時に前記制御回路が前記待機状態であった場合、前記制御回路を起動して前記動作状態へと移行させると共に、前記制御回路が前記待機状態であったことを示す起動情報を保持し、
前記バッテリコントローラまたは前記通信順位で1つ上位のセルコントローラから前記通信信号が送信されると、前記起動情報を保持している場合は前記起動情報を付加し、前記起動情報を保持していない場合は前記起動情報を付加せずに、前記通信信号を前記通信順位で1つ下位のセルコントローラまたは前記バッテリコントローラへ転送し、
前記バッテリコントローラは、
前記起動信号を出力した後に、前記通信順位で最上位のセルコントローラに対して前記通信信号を送信し、
前記通信順位で最下位のセルコントローラから受信した前記通信信号に付加された前記起動情報に基づいて、前記複数のセルコントローラの異常動作を診断する電池制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記複数のセルコントローラの各々は、
前記起動信号の入力時に前記制御回路が前記待機状態であった場合、前記起動信号の入力後に遅延回路信号の出力を開始する遅延回路と、
前記遅延回路信号の出力の開始に応じて前記起動情報を記憶保持するレジスタ回路と、をさらに有する電池制御装置。 - 請求項2に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記複数のセルコントローラの各々は、前記起動信号に応じて前記制御回路を起動させるための動作電源を供給するレギュレータ回路をさらに有し、
前記遅延回路は、前記レギュレータ回路から前記制御回路へ前記動作電源の供給が開始されてから所定の遅延時間後に、前記遅延回路信号の出力を開始する電池制御装置。 - 請求項2または3に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記制御回路は、前記レジスタ回路に記憶された前記起動情報を前記通信信号に付加して送信し、
前記起動情報の送信後に、前記レジスタ回路から前記起動情報を消去する電池制御装置。 - 請求項2または3に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記複数のセルコントローラは、所定の起動順位に従って相互に接続されており、
前記バッテリコントローラは、前記複数のセルコントローラのうち前記起動順位で最上位のセルコントローラに対して前記起動信号を出力し、
前記複数のセルコントローラの各々は、前記バッテリコントローラまたは前記起動順位で1つ上位のセルコントローラから前記起動信号が入力されると、前記起動順位で1つ下位のセルコントローラに対して、当該セルコントローラの電位に応じた電圧で前記起動信号を出力する電池制御装置。
