Description
前記イオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材が、上記本発明のイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材であることを特徴とするものである。
図1は、(a)本発明の弾性クッション材の一好適な実施の形態を示す平面図であり、(b)は、本発明の弾性クッション材を伸ばした状態の一例を示す平面図である。本発明の弾性クッション材10は、間隔をあけて平行に並べられた一対の耐食性金属薄板11(以下、単に、「金属薄板」とも称する)と、一対の金属薄板11を固定する固定部材12と、を有しており、金属製弾性体13(図示例においては金属製コイル体)が一対の金属薄板11間に巻回されている。固定部材12は、固定手段14により一対の金属薄板11から着脱自在に取り付けられており(図1(a))、固定部材12を取り外すことにより、弾性クッション材10は、伸縮自在に変形することができる(図1(b))。
本発明のイオン交換膜電解槽は、イオン交換膜により陽極を収容する陽極室と陰極を収容する陰極室に区画されたものであり、陽極室および陰極室のうち少なくとも一方に上記本発明の弾性クッション材10が配置されてなる。例えば、単極式イオン交換膜電解槽において、本発明の弾性クッション材10が、陰極と陰極集電体間および陽極と陽極集電体間の少なくとも一方に配置されたものや、複極式イオン交換膜電解槽において、本発明の弾性クッション材10が、陰極と陰極隔壁間および陽極と陽極隔壁間の少なくとも一方に配置されたものを挙げることができる。

Claims (6)
- 間隔をあけて平行に並べられた一対の耐食性金属薄板と、該一対の耐食性金属薄板を固定する固定部材と、を有し、前記一対の耐食性金属薄板間に金属製弾性体が巻回されてなるイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材であって、前記固定部材が前記一対の耐食性金属薄板から着脱自在に取り付けられていることを特徴とするイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材。
- 前記一対の耐食性金属薄板に滑り止め手段が設けられている請求項1記載のイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材。
- 前記金属製弾性体が金属製コイル体である請求項1または2記載のイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材。
- イオン交換膜により陽極を収容する陽極室と陰極を収容する陰極室とに区画され、前記陽極室および前記陰極室のうち少なくとも一方にイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材が配置されてなるイオン交換膜電解槽において、
前記イオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材が、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一項記載のイオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材であることを特徴とするイオン交換膜電解槽。 - 前記イオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材が、陰極と陰極集電体間および陽極と陽極集電体間の少なくとも一方に配置されてなり、前記金属製弾性体の反力により電極と前記イオン交換膜とが密着している請求項4記載のイオン交換膜電解槽。
- 前記イオン交換膜電解槽用弾性クッション材が、陰極と陰極隔壁間および陽極と陽極隔壁間の少なくとも一方に配置されてなり、前記金属製弾性体の反力により電極と前記イオン交換膜とが密着している請求項4記載のイオン交換膜電解槽。
