Description
The present invention relates to a gas turbine power generation system.
A gas turbine power generation system is known in which the power generation output is controlled to be constant by the fuel flow rate to the combustor and the intake air flow rate of the compressor (see Patent Document 1).
Renewable energy such as wind power generation and solar power generation greatly fluctuates the power generation output due to the weather and the like, and there is a concern that the system frequency of the power system will become unstable with the introduction of a large amount of renewable energy. In order to stabilize the grid frequency, it is necessary to supply power to the power system by generating power according to the power demand while absorbing fluctuations in renewable energy. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve the responsiveness of the power generation system to the power demand.
However, in the case of a gas turbine power generation system, the power generation output is controlled by the turbine output, specifically, the fuel flow rate, etc., and the response of the power generation output to the control such as the fuel flow rate may be delayed. In addition, for example, if the fuel flow rate changes during power generation output control, the combustion gas temperature also changes, but if the combustion gas temperature changes suddenly, the temperature distribution of the high-temperature parts exposed to the combustion gas becomes non-uniform and thermal stress Will increase. Excessive thermal stress can lead to thermal fatigue and thus failure of high temperature parts. Including this example, there are some restrictions on the control of the turbine output by the fuel flow rate or the like from the viewpoint of reliability. For this reason, the conventional gas turbine power generation system may not be able to cope with a sudden change in power demand due to a restriction on the fuel flow rate or a response delay.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a gas turbine power generation system capable of improving the responsiveness of the power generation output to the power demand and contributing to the stabilization of the system frequency.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention controls the power generation load to change the setting of the turbine rotation speed when the rate of change of the fuel flow rate according to the gas turbine output command is out of the limit range, The power generation output is changed at a change rate larger than the change rate of the power generation output when the fuel flow rate is changed at the change rate .
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the responsiveness of the power generation output with respect to an electric power demand can be improved, and it can contribute to stabilization of a system frequency.

また、圧縮機1の空気取り込み口には、IGV(Inlet Guide Vane:入口案内翼)9が備えられている。
The
The

The

2. Gas Turbine Control Device FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of the gas turbine control device 7.
The gas turbine control device 7 includes a
The
The load limiter 105 functions to limit the maximum output due to the authorization output of the power generation facility. Accordingly, the fuel flow rate value corresponding to the maximum output limit value (or a value set slightly lower than that in consideration of the margin) is output from the
The exhaust temperature limiter 106 functions to limit the maximum temperature of the
The output change rate limiter 107 functions to limit the maximum value of the change rate of the turbine output (in this case, the change rate of the fuel flow rate) in consideration of the thermal stress generated in the high-temperature components of the gas turbine. The rate of change here refers to the change in turbine output per hour. The fuel flow rate is controlled by the output
The
The
The
The
The
3. Control Procedure FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing an output control procedure of the gas turbine power generation system by the gas turbine control device 7.
The gas turbine control device 7 repeatedly executes the procedure of steps S101 to S111 in FIG. 3 during the power generation operation.
Steps S101-S107
When starting the procedure of FIG. 3, the gas turbine control device 7 first inputs various signals (state quantity signal, rotation speed, MWD, RMW) (step S101). Subsequently, the gas turbine control device 7 performs output control as to whether or not the FFD change rate calculated based on the MWD is within the limit range (the range from the lower limit value to the upper limit value) output from the output
Here, it supplements about the opening degree control of IGV9. First, when the turbine rotation speed decreases, the intake air flow rate of the
Specifically, when the turbine speed decreases, the IGV 9 opens (the opening degree increases), and when the rotation speed increases, the IGV 9 closes (the opening degree decreases). If the opening degree of IGV9 becomes large, the efficiency of the
In addition, when IGV9 or its control is abbreviate | omitted, when the rotation speed falls with respect to a reference rotation speed, a compressor efficiency will rise, and when a rotation speed rises with respect to a reference rotation speed, a compressor efficiency will fall. Thus, it is conceivable to design the operating point of the
Steps S108-S111
When it is determined in step S102 that the FFD change rate is out of the limit range, the gas turbine control device 7 predicts the turbine speed when the generator load is controlled according to the MWD by the
By repeatedly executing the above procedure, in the gas turbine
On the other hand, when the fuel flow rate corresponding to the MWD and the rate of change thereof are out of the restriction range, the FFD is restricted. As a result, the power output is excessive or insufficient with respect to the MWD only by the fuel flow control. In this case, in the present embodiment, control of the power generation output by changing the setting of the turbine speed is attempted, and if the predicted value of the turbine speed after the change is within the limit value, the setting of the turbine speed is temporarily predicted. The power generation output follows the MWD by changing the power generation load. For example, when the FFD change rate according to the MWD increases beyond the limit value, increasing the generator load by lowering the setting of the turbine rotation speed increases more than when increasing the FFD at the limit change rate The power generation output changes at a rate to follow the MWD. In other words, the kinetic energy released by the change in the rotational speed of the

Effect FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of behavior of various outputs of the gas turbine power generation system with respect to electric power demand. In this example, the case where demand increases is illustrated. In the figure, the left column is when the

On the other hand, in the present embodiment, as described above, the setting of the turbine speed is lowered by the
This example is a case where the power demand increases rapidly, but this embodiment can also cope with a sudden decrease in power demand. That is, when the power generation output is controlled only by controlling the turbine output, when the rate of decrease in the fuel flow rate according to the demand fluctuation exceeds the limit value, the setting of the turbine rotation speed is increased by the
Thus, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to improve the responsiveness of the power generation output to the power demand and contribute to the stabilization of the system frequency. In addition, since the power generation output can be adjusted for sudden demand fluctuations without using fuel flow control, thermal fatigue of high-temperature components can be suppressed.
In addition, power storage technology using storage batteries and flywheels is known as a facility that responds to sudden changes in power demand, but when applied to existing gas turbine power generation facilities, large-scale facilities such as flywheels and storage batteries are newly installed. It must be done and costly. Further, the loss increases due to bearing loss of the flywheel, natural discharge of the rechargeable battery, and the like. On the other hand, in the case of the present embodiment, the merit is great in that it can be applied to existing gas turbine power generation facilities at a lower cost and the loss is smaller than those cases.

(Second Embodiment)
FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of a gas turbine power generation system according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The same parts as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the previous drawings, and the description thereof is omitted.
The difference between the gas turbine
The
The
The high-
The

Steps S201-S210
Steps S201 to S210 are procedures for causing the power generation output to follow the MWD without changing the setting of the rotation speed of the high-
Subsequently, it is determined whether or not the deviation between the rotational speed of the high-
When the deviation between the rotational speed of the high-
Here, it supplements about the opening degree control of IGV9, and fuel flow control. First, in the two-
In the two-
Steps S211 to S214
When it is determined in step S202 that the FFD change rate is out of the limit range, the gas
By repeatedly executing the above procedure, when the fuel flow rate according to the MWD and the rate of change thereof are within the limit range, the
On the other hand, when the fuel flow rate according to the MWD and the rate of change thereof are out of the restriction range, the FFD is restricted. As a result, the power output is excessive or insufficient with respect to the MWD only by the fuel flow control. In this case, control of the power generation output by changing the setting of the rotation speed of the high-
Also in the present embodiment, the power generation output can be controlled by following the sudden change in power demand without relying on the fuel flow rate control, so that the same effect as in the first embodiment can be obtained. In addition, in the case of the present embodiment, the
FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of behavior of various outputs of the gas turbine power generation system according to the present embodiment with respect to power demand. In this example, the case where demand increases is illustrated. FIG. 4 is a diagram corresponding to FIG. 4 of the first embodiment. The left column is a case where the
As shown in the figure, even if there is no
On the other hand, according to the present embodiment, the
FIG. 8 illustrates the case where the power demand increases, but the same applies when the power demand decreases.

(Third embodiment)
FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram of a gas turbine power generation system according to the third embodiment of the present invention. Portions similar to those of the embodiment already described are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the above-described drawings, and description thereof is omitted.
The difference between the gas turbine
As shown in the figure, a renewable
Further, the FFD calculator 104 (see FIG. 2) of the gas turbine control device 7b inputs PMWD together with RMW (actual power generation amount), sets the rotation speed of the high-
FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing an output control procedure of the gas turbine power generation system by the gas turbine control device 7b.
The gas turbine control device 7b repeatedly executes the procedures of steps S301 to S318 in FIG. 10 during the power generation operation. However, steps S301, S302, and S307-S318 in the figure are the same as steps S201-S214 in the second embodiment, respectively. The difference is that steps S303 to S306 are added between steps S302 and S307. Hereinafter, steps S303 to S306 will be described.
Steps S303-S306
This procedure is a procedure for changing the set rotational speed of the high-
When the set rotational speed of the high-
According to the present embodiment, in addition to the same effects as those of the first and second embodiments, the following effects can be obtained. That is, the convertible amount of turbine rotational power to electric power and the convertible amount of electric power to turbine rotational power are limited by the upper limit value and the lower limit value of the rotational speed of the turbine shaft. Therefore, if the output adjustment based on the fuel flow rate alone cannot keep up with the demand, and the turbine shaft speed continues to rise or fall, the turbine speed will reach the upper limit or lower limit, causing further output adjustment. Will not be able to. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, the set rotational speed is operated as the reference value by predicting the fluctuation of the power generation output of the renewable energy
