Description
接着研磨本体の4つのサンプルを得る。サンプルS1は、ここでの実施形態に従って形成され、多孔性は約52体積%〜約58体積%、研磨粒子材料含有量は34体積%〜40体積%の範囲内とし、そのうち、研磨剤凝集体の含有量が34体積%〜40体積%、微晶質アルミナの非凝集研磨粒子の含有量が約0体積%〜約5体積%とする。研磨剤凝集体は、およそ70体積%〜90体積%のアルミナの研磨粒子と、1体積%〜4体積%のバインダーを含み、残りは多孔体である。研磨剤凝集体のガラス質バインダー組成を、下の表1に示す。サンプルS1の接着研磨体は、約3体積%〜8体積%の含有量でガラス質の接着材料を有する。接着材料の組成を、下の表2に示す。サンプルS1はさらに、約4体積%〜6体積%の範囲内の含有量で発泡アルミナを含んでいる。

Claims (15)
- 接着研磨体を備える研磨物であって、
前記接着研磨体は:
前記研磨体の全体積に対して少なくとも3体積%であり8体積%より多くない量のガラス質接着材料;
研磨粒子材料であって、前記研磨粒子材料は研磨剤凝集体および非凝集研磨粒子を含み、前記研磨剤凝集体は、前記研磨剤凝集体の全体積に対して少なくとも70体積%であり90体積%より多くないアルミナの研磨粒子を含み、前記研磨体は、研磨剤凝集体の含有量が少なくとも34体積%であり40体積%より多くない、前記研磨粒子材料;、及び、
前記接着研磨体の全体積の少なくとも52体積%であり58体積%より多くない多孔性;を備え、
前記接着材料は、少なくとも48質量%であり52質量%より多くない量のシリカ(SiO2)、少なくとも15質量%であり20質量%より多くない量のアルミナ(Al2O3)、少なくとも9質量%であり20質量%より多くない量のアルカリ酸化物(R2O)、及び、少なくとも10質量%であり17質量%より多くない量の酸化ホウ素(B2O3)を含む、
研磨物。 - 前記研磨剤凝集体が、前記研磨剤凝集体の全体積に対して80体積%以下の量の研磨粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体の研磨粒子が、1ミクロン以下の平均粒径を有する微晶質アルミナを含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体が、前記研磨剤凝集体の全体積に対して20体積%以下の量でバインダーを含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨体が、5体積%より多くない非凝集研磨粒子と、少なくとも34体積%であり40体積%より多くない研磨材凝集体と、を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨体が、研磨粒子比(APp:APagg)を3:1〜1:3の範囲内で備え、APpは研磨体に存在する非凝集研磨粒子の量(体積%)を表し、APaggは、前記研磨体に存在する研磨剤凝集体の量(体積%)を表す、請求項5に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体が、前記研磨剤凝集体の全体積の少なくとも6体積%であり29体積%より多くない多孔性を備える、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記接着材料が、5以下の酸化ケイ素(SiO2)重量パーセント:酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)重量パーセントの比で形成される、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記接着研磨体の超高速材料除去速度(UHMRR)での研削操作中の最大材料除去速度が、少なくとも20mm3/秒/mmである、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記接着研磨体の超高速材料除去速度(UHMRR)での研削操作中の摩耗率が、少なくとも5%であり90%より多くない、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 多孔性の全体積の少なくとも5%が相互接続多孔性である、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体が、前記研磨剤凝集体の全体積に対して少なくとも1体積%であり4体積%より多くない量でバインダーを含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体が、ガラス質バインダーを含み、前記ガラス質バインダーが、少なくとも12質量%であり18質量%より多くない量の酸化ホウ素(B2O3)を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体が、ガラス質バインダーを含み、前記ガラス質バインダーが、前記ガラス質バインダーの全質量に対して少なくとも52質量%であり58質量%より多くない量のシリカ(SiO2)、前記ガラス質バインダーの全質量に対して少なくとも12質量%であり14質量%より多くない量のアルミナ(Al2O3)、前記ガラス質バインダーの全質量に対して少なくとも7.5質量%であり10質量%より多くない量の酸化ナトリウム(Na2O)、及び、前記ガラス質バインダーの全質量に対して少なくとも2質量%であり3質量%より多くない量の酸化リチウム(Li2O)を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
- 前記研磨剤凝集体が、ガラス質バインダーを含み、前記ガラス質バインダーが、前記ガラス質バインダーの全質量に対して少なくとも9.5質量%であり14質量%より多くない量のアルカリ酸化物を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨物。
