Description
The present invention relates to a connector device fixed to a circuit board, and relates to a connector device for electrically connecting an electric circuit on the circuit board and another wiring plate member.
A connector device that is fixed to a circuit board and electrically connects an electric circuit on the circuit board and another wiring board member (for example, a flexible printed wiring board (FPC) or a flexible flat cable (FFC)). Are known. Such a connector device is generally composed of a housing and contact terminals. The housing includes a storage chamber for storing the wiring plate member, and a plurality of contact terminals are arranged at predetermined intervals in the storage chamber. The contact terminal also functions as a “spring” for bringing itself into contact with the wiring plate member. Therefore, particularly in a connector device having a large number of contact terminals, the total amount of “springs” of the contact terminals becomes large, so that the resistance (friction) when inserting / removing the wiring plate member into / from the connector device increases. There is. If the resistance at the time of insertion / extraction is large, the efficiency of the connection work is reduced, and the wiring board member may be damaged.
A connector device that solves such a problem is already known and is called a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connector. As one type of the ZIF connector, there is a connector device that covers a storage chamber in a freely openable / closable manner with a cover member that is pivotally supported by a housing.
For example, an electrical connector described in
Moreover, the connector for flexible boards described in
In these connector devices, when the cover member is closed, the wiring plate-like member is pressed against the cover member and comes into contact with the contact terminal, so that the “spring” of the contact terminal works. On the other hand, when the cover member is opened, the pressure applied by the cover member is released, so that the “spring” of the contact terminal does not work, and resistance when the wiring plate member is inserted into and removed from the connector device is lost.
As described above, the connector devices described in
However, the connector devices described in
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a connector device that can be easily connected (mounted) and can reliably hold a wiring plate member.

A connector device according to a second aspect of the present invention provides:
A housing having a contact surface in which contacts are arranged;
A shell that is swingably attached to the housing and into which a wiring board member is inserted, and is in a parallel position with the contact surface, and a coupling posture in which the wiring board member contacts the contact; and the contact surface A shell capable of selecting an attaching / detaching posture having an elevation angle with respect to,

The shell may be coupled to the lock arm via a spring element so as to swing with respect to the lock arm. The spring element may be a torsion spring that twists around a swing axis, or may be a leaf spring that spans between the swing axis and the shell.
The shell may be pivotally supported by the lock arm. The shell and the lock arm may be integrated.
According to the present invention, the shell can be attached and detached with an elevation angle with respect to the contact surface, so that the operator looks down at the shell from the diagonally upper side and visually recognizes the insertion port of the shell. Can be inserted into the shell. Further, the positioning of the wiring plate member is performed with respect to the shell, that is, when the wiring plate member is correctly positioned with respect to the shell, the positioning with respect to the housing (≈connector device) is completed. Therefore, the connection of the wiring plate members is facilitated, the operator's stress is reduced, and the work efficiency is improved.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described.
First, a basic configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
As is clear from FIG. 2, the
In this embodiment, the
The
Here, with reference to FIG. 6, the detailed structure around the coupling |
Finally, a procedure for connecting the
First, as illustrated in FIG. 7, the
As shown in FIG. 8, when the
When the
Further, when the
When the connection between the wiring plate-
As described above, according to the present invention, the wiring plate member can be inserted into the shell in a posture in which the shell has an elevation angle with respect to the contact surface. Wearing) work. The positioning of the wiring plate member with respect to the connector device is completed when the wiring plate member is correctly inserted into the shell. Therefore, the efficiency of connection work is improved.

In the above embodiment, an example in which the

In the above embodiment, the
