Description
Claims (12)
- 第1屈折率(n1)を有する導光体を有する照明器具であって、
前記導光体は、光入射面、該光入射面に入射する光を反射する光反射面、及び、該光反射面に対向するように設けられて、前記導光体からの光を射出させる光射出面を有し、
前記導光体は前記光入射面に対して対向する端部へ向かって先細り、
当該照明器具はさらに、
前記光入射面へ向かうように光を放出するように配置された光源、
前記導光体の光射出面と光学的に接して第2屈折率(n2)を有する第1光学部材、
前記導光体の光反射面と光学的に接して第3屈折率(n3)を有する第2光学部材、
前記第2光学部材の面のうち前記導光体に対して反対側の面上に配置されて、前記光源がオフ状態のときに当該照明器具の光学特性に影響を及ぼす、有色構造として設けられた機能を改善する構造、及び、
構造を有する光入射面及び平面状光射出面を有する再導光層を有し、
前記第1屈折率(n1)は、前記第2屈折率(n2)及び第3屈折率(n3)のいずれよりも大きく、
前記第2屈折率(n2)は前記第3屈折率(n3)よりも大きく、
前記再導光層は、前記導光体に対向する前記第1光学部材と光学的に接するように配置され、
前記再導光層は、前記第2屈折率よりも大きな第4屈折率を有し、
前記第4屈折率と第2屈折率との間の比は1乃至2の範囲で変化し、
前記再導光層の構造を有する光入射面は、基部と頂部、及び該基部と頂部とを接続する第1面と第2面を有するリッジ形状の突出部を有し、
前記第1面は、入射光を結合する第1ファセットを有し、
前記第1ファセットは、前記導光体の光射出面の法線に対して第1傾斜角を有し、
前記第2面は、光を全内部反射させる第2ファセットを有し、かつ、
前記第2ファセットは、前記導光体の光射出面の法線に対して第2傾斜角を有する、
照明器具。 - 前記機能を改善する構造が前記第2光学部材とスクリーンとで挟まれることになる当該スクリーンを有する、請求項1に記載の照明器具。
- 前記機能を改善する構造が、光を吸収するように構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の照明器具。
- 前記機能を改善する構造が、制御可能な光学特性を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の照明器具。
- 前記第1光学部材が光学流体を有する、請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか1項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記第2光学部材が空気である、請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか1項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記第1屈折率(n1)と第2屈折率(n2)の比が1乃至2の範囲である、請求項1乃至6のうちいずれか1項に記載の照明器具。
- 環状の対称性を有する請求項1乃至7のうちいずれか1項に記載の照明器具であって、前記射出面は一の面内に配置されている、照明器具。
- 前記の第1面上の突出部の各々はさらに第3ファセットを有し、
前記第3ファセットは前記光射出面の法線に対して第3傾斜角を有し、
前記第3傾斜角は前記第1傾斜角よりも小さい、
請求項1に記載の照明器具。 - 前記第3ファセットは、前記第1ファセットよりも前記基部と近くなるように配置される、請求項9に記載の照明器具。
- 前記第3角度は、0°乃至前記第1傾斜角の範囲である、請求項9又は10に記載の照明器具。
- 前記第3角度は、0°乃至前記第2傾斜角の範囲である、請求項9又は10に記載の照明器具。
