を意味する。
−硫酸塩灰分含量(ASTM D 874による。)がそれぞれ1重量%まで、1重量%まで、および2重量%まで、
−リン含量(ASTM D 5185による。)がそれぞれ0.08重量%まで(低SAPS)および0.12重量%まで(中SAPS)、ならびに
−硫黄含量(ASTM D 5185による。)がそれぞれ0.3重量%まで(低SAPS)および0.4重量%まで(中SAPS)
を意味する。
クランクケースエンジンにおける使用のための様々なエンジンオイルを処方した。
表2からわかるように、本発明は驚くべきことに、例えばエンジンオイルなどの100℃での動粘度が高い潤滑組成物(例えばSAE xW−50、SAE xW−60および「xW−70」グレードなど)を、鉱物ブライトストックまたは重質ポリαオレフィン(PAO)を用いる必要なく処方することを可能にする。
Claims (7)
- 基油および1以上の添加剤を含む潤滑組成物の100℃での動粘度が21.9cSt超であり、かつ、30.0cSt未満であり、−15℃での絶対粘度(ASTM D 5293による。)が9500cP未満であるエンジンのクランクケース用潤滑組成物であって、
前記基油中に残留フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来基油を50重量%超含み、当該残留フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来基油は100℃での動粘度(ASTM D 445による。)が16.3cSt超であり、かつ、30cSt未満であり、
当該潤滑組成物は、SAE粘度グレードが20W−60〜20W−70であり、鉱物ブライトストックを使用しないことを特徴とする前記潤滑組成物。 - 潤滑組成物の−20℃での絶対粘度(ASTM D 5293による。)が7000cP超である、請求項1に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 組成物が、3.7cP超の高温高剪断粘度(「HTHS」、ASTM D 4683による。)を有する、請求項1または2に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 組成物が、14重量%未満のノアク揮発性(ASTM D 5800による。)を有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 基油が、90重量%超の残留フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来基油を含有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 組成物が、組成物の総重量ベースで1.0重量%未満の粘度指数向上剤濃縮物を含有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 残留フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来基油の流動点(ASTM D 5950による。)が、−6℃未満を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑組成物。
