As the support arm 160 swings, the second pulley 28 and the third pulley 29 move in the vertical direction. The belt 27 moves together with the second pulley 28 and the third pulley 29.

The frame 40 fixes a position detection sensor 43 that can detect the angular position of the fourth motor 94. The eccentric wheel 65 is provided with a detection plate 66 on the outer periphery at a position where the distance from the center is maximum. The position detection sensor 43 can detect the predetermined angular position of the fourth motor 94 by detecting the detection plate 66.

As shown in FIG. 2, the roller holding unit 20 rotatably supports the cylindrical first roller 22 above the lower transfer unit 38. The first roller 22 is in the vicinity of the rear of the nozzle 17 extending from a support portion 171 described later.

The state in the vicinity of the lower transfer portion 38 during the bonding operation will be described with reference to FIG. The contact portion 162 is moved forward by the biasing force of the spring 166. As the contact portion 162 moves forward, the portion of the belt 27 that faces the first roller 22 moves upward. At this position, the belt 27 and the nozzle 17 convey the lower cloth. The lower cloth coated with the adhesive from the nozzle 17 and the upper cloth passing over the nozzle 17 are conveyed while being pressed by the first roller 22 and the belt 27, and move on the bed portion 14.

The structure of the nozzle unit 7 will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 3, the nozzle unit 7 is formed in a substantially L shape when viewed from the front. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the nozzle unit 7 is provided with a flat plate-like mounting portion 172 at the top. As shown in FIG. 2, the nozzle unit 7 is fixed to the holding portion 8 by the mounting portion 172. As shown in FIG. 4, a flow path 173 into which an adhesive flows is formed in the center of the attachment portion 172. Screw holes 174 and 175 are provided on the attachment portion 172 diagonally across the flow path 173. The support portion 171 extends downward from one end side (right side in FIG. 3) of the attachment portion 172.

The nozzle 17 extends from the lower end of the support portion 171 in parallel to the upper surface of the attachment portion 172 and on the side opposite to the extending direction of the attachment portion 172. The nozzle 17 is a flat rod-like member having a chamfered bottom surface. A flow path 189 (see FIG. 7) through which an adhesive flows is formed inside the nozzle 17. A channel (not shown) is also formed in the support portion 171. As shown in FIG. 5, on the bottom surface of the nozzle 17, a plurality of discharge ports 178 for applying an adhesive to the cloth are arranged in a line in the longitudinal direction of the nozzle 17. Screws 176 and 177 that respectively close the ends of the internal flow path 189 (see FIG. 7) are screwed into both ends of the nozzle 17 in the longitudinal direction. As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, a notch 180 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the nozzle 17 at the downstream end of the cloth conveyance direction (the direction of arrow A in FIGS. 5 to 7) on the bottom surface of the nozzle 17. Yes.

Details of the structure of the nozzle 17 will be described with reference to FIGS. The downstream end of the cutout portion 180 in the cloth conveyance direction (arrow A direction) is chamfered by an inclined surface 182 that faces obliquely upward. An upstream end 181 of the bottom surface of the nozzle 17 in the cloth conveying direction is chamfered in an arc shape. The upper surface 186 of the nozzle 17 is formed in a flat surface, and the end of the upper surface 186 on the downstream side in the cloth conveyance direction is a slope 187 directed toward the tip of the slope 182. The nozzle 17 having this shape enters between the upper cloth and the lower cloth, and discharges the adhesive onto the lower cloth.

As shown in FIG. 7, the notch 180 includes a cloth, a plane 183 spaced apart from the cloth, and a wall surface 184 orthogonal to the plane 183. A wall 185 having a predetermined thickness (0.5 mm as an example) is provided between the discharge port 178 and the notch 180. As an example of the discharge port 178, the diameter is 0.5 mm, and the height of the wall surface 184 of the notch 180 is 0.5 mm. That is, the cloth in which the notch 180 is located has a distance of 0.5 mm from the bottom surface (plane 183) of the nozzle 17. This interval (height of the wall surface 184) is not limited to 0.5 mm, and is appropriately determined according to the characteristics of the cloth to be bonded.

As described above, in the cloth bonding apparatus 1, the cutout portion 180 is formed on the bottom surface of the nozzle 17 on the downstream side in the cloth conveyance direction. Therefore, even if an adhesive is applied to the cloth from the discharge port 178, It is possible to prevent the adhesive from adhering to the downstream side of the bottom surface and the adhesive from adhering to the end portion (slope 182 etc.) of the nozzle bottom surface on the downstream side of the cloth conveyance direction. When the adhesive is not attached to the inclined surface 182, it is possible to prevent the adhesive from being attached to the cloth even when the conveyance of the cloth is stopped. Further, since a wall 185 having a predetermined thickness is provided between the discharge port 178 and the cutout portion 180, the discharge port 178 of the nozzle 17 is not lost even if the cutout portion 180 is provided.
