この切粉がマグネットドラム31を形成する該円筒30に収容されたマグネット丸棒23の小幅の非マグネット22面に達したときは、丸棒に配されたマグネットの吸着力から開放されて、該円筒30面から離脱されるような状態になる。
従って、この切粉を図面に示すような滑り台形式の切粉取り除き板13を以てマグネットドラム31を形成する前記非磁性材料から成る円筒30面から剥がし取り、濾過槽2中に滑り落させる。
前記した樋体10と前記したマグネットドラム31の間を通った使用済切削油は、使用済切削油に混入した切粉を上記した状態で捕捉されて、濾過済切削油となって前記樋体の底板の流通孔から、前記樋体10の底板下に配された濾過済切削油排出管12を通って、濾過槽外に排出される。
