Description
The present invention relates to an image reading apparatus that receives reflected light from a document surface with a solid-state imaging device via an optical component such as an imaging lens and generates image data, and in particular, a technique for attaching an optical component such as an imaging lens. About.
An image reading apparatus used for a copying machine, a facsimile machine, or the like irradiates a document with light from an exposure lamp, and reflects the reflected light on a light receiving surface of a solid-state imaging device such as a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) through an imaging lens. It is configured to generate document image data by receiving light and performing photoelectric conversion.
In such an image reading apparatus, since the reflected light from the document surface is imaged by the light receiving surface of the CCD, the distance between the imaging lens and the CCD from the document surface is determined in advance, and the exact position when these are attached Adjustments are made.
In particular, in the position adjustment of the imaging lens, height adjustment for adjusting the optical axis of the imaging lens to the optical path of the reflected light from the document surface (hereinafter referred to as “tilt adjustment”), and the imaging lens from the document surface. Position adjustment in the optical axis direction (hereinafter referred to as “magnification adjustment”) is performed (for example,

However, in the mounting structure of the
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an image reading apparatus that has fewer parts than the prior art and can reduce the number of assembly steps.
In order to achieve the above object, an image reading apparatus according to the present invention receives reflected light from a document surface by a light receiving surface of a solid-state imaging device via one or more optical components to generate image data. An apparatus, an optical base on which at least one optical component is placed via a mounting plate, a position adjusting means for adjusting the position of the optical component placed on the optical base, and the position adjustment Fixing means for fixing the optical component adjusted by the means on the optical base, and the mounting plate has three or more elongated holes extending in parallel with the optical axis of the optical component, all of which are on the same straight line. Are provided in a state of being attached to the optical base, and a screw with a flange is attached to a position corresponding to each of the elongated holes of the optical base, and each flanged screw is inserted into the corresponding elongated hole from the head side, The mounting plate is supported by a flange of the screw, and the position adjusting means is And said mounting plate, wherein the three or more elongated holes provided, and a said threaded the flanges, and the screwing amount of the crocodile threaded, for each head of the flanged screw in the long hole The position adjustment of the optical component is performed by adjusting the relative position, and the fixing means includes guide means for guiding movement in a direction along the optical axis, and the position adjustment means When the position of the optical component is adjusted, the fixing means is configured to move integrally with the mounting plate in the direction along the optical axis by the guidance of the guide means .
According to the image reading apparatus having the above configuration, the position adjusting means for adjusting the position of the optical component includes the mounting plate provided with three or more elongated holes extending in parallel with the optical axis, and the head inserted into the elongated hole. It consists of each screw that supports the mounting plate by the flange, and the position adjustment of the optical parts adjusts the screwing amount of each flange screw and the relative position of the head of the flange screw in each slot It is the structure performed by doing. In other words, the height of the mounting plate can be changed by adjusting the screwing amount of each barbed screw, and the height of the optical component can be adjusted, and the relative position of the head of the barbed screw within each slot Specifically, the position of the optical component in the optical axis direction can be adjusted by moving the mounting plate in the optical axis direction.
As a result, the means for adjusting the height of the optical component and the means for adjusting the position in the optical axis direction can be realized by a common mounting plate, and the conventional image reading apparatus constituted by different parts In comparison, the number of parts can be reduced, and the number of assembly steps can be reduced accordingly. Thereby, the production cost of the apparatus can be reduced.
In addition, even if the mounting plate is moved within the longitudinal range of the long hole, the center of gravity position of the mounting plate in a state where the optical component is attached is always the axis of each hooked screw in a plan view. It is desirable that the formation position of each slot is set so as to be inside the contour line obtained by connecting the hearts.
Further, it is desirable that the fixing means is a clamping member that sandwiches the mounting plate with the optical base. This clamping member consists of a leaf spring formed by bending a plate-like member, and the leaf spring presses the attachment plate from the side opposite to the optical base side, and a base portion attached to the optical base by screws. It is desirable to be comprised by the part and the connection part which connects these base parts and a press part.
Here, the mounting plate, are formed notch coupling portion of the leaf spring is fitted, and the base of the leaf spring, a long hole for screwing extending in the same direction as the elongated hole is formed Tei Is desirable.
The guide means is inserted into a pin elongated hole extending in the optical axis direction formed at a position different from the screw elongated hole at the base of the leaf spring, and a pin elongated hole standing on the optical base. It is desirable to be comprised with the pin to be made.
Moreover, it is desirable to have an inclination prevention means for preventing the attachment plate from being inclined with respect to the optical axis.
Here, the tilt prevention means is provided with two elongated holes provided in the mounting plate and extending in parallel with the optical axis, and two elongated holes provided in the optical base. It is desirable to have an engagement pin.
The present invention may also be an image forming apparatus that includes the image reading apparatus and forms an image based on image data of a document generated by the image reading apparatus.
Embodiments of an image reading apparatus according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
<Overall configuration of image reading apparatus>
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing a schematic configuration of the image reading apparatus according to the present embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The
When reading a document placed on the

Next, the configuration of the
2 is a perspective view showing a configuration of a main part of the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The mounting
Further, as shown in the plan view of FIG. 4, the
Among these, one
Three screw holes having the same positional relationship as the
As shown in FIG. 3, the
According to the above configuration, the height and inclination of the
In the present embodiment, the mounting
The
The lengths of the two
Returning to FIG. 2, a pair of
In particular, in the present embodiment, the
That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the
After adjusting the magnification, the
A guide means 59 for guiding the

Between the

The material of the
For the same reason as the material of the
(Adjustment of arrangement position of imaging lens and solid-state image sensor)
In such an
First, the arrangement position of the solid-
Next, the arrangement position of the
Here, tilt adjustment is first performed to align the optical axis J of the
During the tilt adjustment, the mounting
After the tilt adjustment, the magnification of the
In this case as well, in order to adjust the magnification with higher accuracy, a sample original is placed on the
After adjusting the arrangement position of the
As described above, in the present embodiment, the adjusting means for adjusting the tilt of the
(Other configurations)
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the gravity center position G of the mounting
